I have been playing with AOSP and Sense based ROMs on my HTC One and now hit a snag. I tried to flash Instantcoin 7.0.3 and got caught in a boot loop. I had flashed it using TWRP 2.5.0.0 and since it didn't work, I went back and reflashed 2.6.6.3 and restored my Anrdroid Revolution 40.3 (which had been working flawlessly before the Instatntcoin flash). The restore went off without a hitch but I noticed that I couldn't connect to AT&T LTE and had no network service. Tried Viper ROM, nada. I finally restored the original AT&T stock ROM that I had saved, and no dice. The only ROM I can get to work now is CM 10.2 and AOKP.
So since the issues seem to be with sense based ROMs, is it an issue with the radio? I am running .13 when I checked the bootloader.
Anyone else have this sort of issue? I have tried to research it and have not uncovered any info, so any ideas?

I rooted my Incredible S today from Bell Mobility using revolutionary.io and su-3.0-efgh-signed.zip
It worked as I verified it was S-Off once everything was done. The phone booted fine and everything worked.
I then installed the stable cyanogen mod 7.1 for my model.
The phone then got stuck on the cyanogen boot logo so I rebooted and wiped the cache and formatted the sd card. I rebooted and it everything seemed to work until I tried to make a call. It went through but I'm not getting any sound, I can't hear the person I'm calling and they can't hear me.
I then wiped the cache again and installed virtuous_quattro_rc3_vivo.zip
It installed fine but gave me the same issue, no sound when making or receiving calls.
I've tried doing a factory reset several times but it just brings me back to Virtuous ROM and now won't even find a cellular signal.
I'm new to Android (as you can tell) and just want to get this thing back to stock.
Can anyone help??
Thanks!

Since your Bell IncS probably came Android Froyo, when you installed CM 7, which is an Android Gingerbread based ROM, you need to update your radio from a Froyo Version1 radio to a GB Version 2 radio.
Check out this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129014&highlight=radio
I would try using this one:

Hello everyone,
Lately I have been experiencing some interesting issue's with ICS based ROM'S(not leaks). Currently I am running .905 firmware with CWM 5.x.x.x as the primary method for flashing ROM's, so far I have tested Gummy 1.2, AOKP Milestone 6, and Cyanogen Mod yet the one major issue that seems to be popping it's little head up is a complete loss of DATA(Both 4g, and 3g) connectivity. I have attempted to force Auto CDMA/PRL using the command *#*#DATA#*#* from the dialer with no luck. The radio just does not want connect properly. Just for clarification I have two bionic's, and tested GB based(no issues with data), as well as ICS ROM's(data comes up initially, but drops out completely). Maybe I am flashing the device wrong, or need to flash the ICS leak(s)(do they contain a different radio version?), root the device then flash a alternate ROM over the leak? If anyone else is experiencing this issue or has a solution please give me the heads up. Thank again!!!
Hello, I have an HTC Desire C, Fido. I have unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM recovery. The problem I have is no rom I have flashed has successfully booted. It seems I have to turn S off. I have seen methods to do so but not on my Hboot version.
Is it possible to turn S off on Hboot 1.28?
There is no S-OFF on our phone.
boot.img have to be flashed via fastboot
S off doesn't affect ROMs at all, you must be doing something wrong
I have been flashing the boot.img that comes with the rom I got, Nameless 7.4 build1. Here are the steps I take. First wipe all data though recovery, then flash boot.img, then flash .zip. Upon first boot, there is either a boot loop or boot's to a point of "optimizing applications" then restarts.
What is the best rom for use in Canada? I just installed Nameless 7.4 but it freezes and the first HTC splash screen. I dont want stock.

Hi,
I do have a Desire C from Virgin Canada.
I have tried other custom roms - nameless and revolutionmod. Revolutuionmod is better, but I found it unstable. Dont know if the instability came from the rom itself or the kernel.
After a lot a search I found the best option, for now, to return to the stock rom.
I have removed all the junk (with titanium backup) and the phone runs fast and smooth, with quite good battery life.
Suggestions/warnings:
- apply the ota update, if any quickly and BACKUP your working rom; if you modify the rom, or the recovery, you will not be able to install the ota update
- if ever you'd like to go back to stock rom after mdifying rom/recovery, this would be not possible for now because there is not any canadian stock rom for desire c
- if you install any custom rom, the odds are that the wi-fi will not work; you have the flash a custom kernel, such as prometheus kernel from nikhil, to make wi-fi functionnal.
Sense based ROMs will have WiFi with stock kernel, cm based ones won't even boot with a stock or sense kernel.

I personally hate sense so I went with revolution senseless rom 3.5 because wifi was borked in most others but the amazing devs found a fix for it so you might want to wait for all the patches to get applied to the roms to get wifi working before you make your choice. I also experienced some difficulty when I first rooted a desire c and you're having the same difficulties it seems. My problem was in the kernel. Eventually I just flashed completely stock everything with no mods tweaks or anything special and and booted right up. Try not to do anything fancy till you get the hang things
Let me know I you're having further troubles and I would be glad to help you!

For me wi-fi didnt work. Once I flashed nameless rom, then no stock kernel returned the wi-fi back, even if I restored the stock rome backupd earlier. Flashing prometheus kernel brings wi-fi, regardless of the rom (nameless, revolutionmod, stock).
If I flash a stock rom, with its stock kernel, then wi-fi works.
well fwiw i am in canada and had no issue at all with desense rom,and just flashed the cm10 rom yesterday and lovin it!!
hello,
i've got an htc one running on ting (sprint mnvo). i've flashed an endless amount of apn zips but none of them seem to work. i've tried rebooting and turning on airplane mode but 3g refuses to work. LTE and 1x work, but 3g is a no go. i've even tried inserting the apn's into the rom before i flash it. nothing changes. i've tried cyanogenmod, liquid smooth, and am currently on beanstalk. 3g doesn't work for any of them
i've tried flashing this zip and following the instructions given here: https://help.ting.com/entries/42358068-LTE-MMS-APN-Fix-Android-4-4-Kit-Kat-
but that also doesn't work. i've also tried inserting and flashing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340437 i'm at my wits end, does anybody have a solution or a zip i can flash or a setting i can change? thanks!

I was using stock 9.0.3 with unlocked bootloader and data encrypted.
Last night I tried to flash Skydragon ROM without any firmware. It booted to system but calls are not working. I then flashed oreo 5.0.8 fw but in vein. I also flashed "9.0.3 bl fw with 5.0.8 key master", even the Calls are not working. I thought there may be some issues in Skydragon latest ROM, so I flashed Nitrogen ROM but with the same issue. It also booted and I used all types of fw but Calls are again not working.
Now I thought the better way to install the ROM is to format the phone. So, I formatted the phone rebooted back to TWRP(latest one) and then flashed the Skydragon ROM with oreo firmware. Now, I am shocked, even if I am flashing the ROM after formatting but each ROM now flashed is having problems of neither outgoing calls nor incoming.
I finally flashed again 9.0.3 ROM after formatiing so that I may get calls functionality.
The conclusion is that I am unable to flash custom ROM.
Is anybody has the answer, what am I doing wrong. How to flash custom ROM?

Well it seems to be pretty much complicated problem while I think not using any firmware is the problem because there is not any other problem that seems to me is bothering with the calling services moreover did you flashed custom ROM from twrp or not and before doing that have you selected wipe and check... You didn't explained your steps correctly I have flashed both the roms to test and they are working fine on my device and going back to stock and again flashing to another seems to work for me you are missing some important step in flashing I think so...

I have flashed many ROMs. and as per my knowledge I flahsed the ROM after formatting the user data.
Then copied the zip files to device after rebooting to recovery off course.
Then you know: flash ROM followed by Gapps. I have flashed NOS, NLOS, RR, Skydragon. All booted but calls are not working.
Finally I decided to overcome the issue.
I flahsed 5.0.8 ROM and after booting I made a clean flash for the NOS.
Now, ROM succeeded and all is working along with call.
