So Im rooted and what not. Got the unlock symbol and I have a decent amount of dust under my screen which is just irritating me even tho u can only see it when the screen is black but its getting worse. I am hesitant about this just cuz i dont wanna have to root and do everything over again, plus i have some nice engraving on my phone. Any who, I am wondering what i might have to look out for, say, or expect from a swap. I hear about different screens... is that a good thing. Thanks in advance as I kinda need to get talked into this since the year mark is getting closer.
I mean, this happened kinda immediately as its been dusty for several months and its only 9 months old. I know its a known prob
EDIT: did my swap and should be recieving it today or tomorrow. Would you guys recommend I go to stock? Or just turn it in with Cyan6, or does it matter.

Personally, I'd go back to as near to stock as possible.
Before I get blasted let me first start off by saying I can not do GREAT research out here due to our wonderful internet. We have what is equal to a connection that is slightly slower then ISDN for 300 people, SOOOO, I get alot of "PAGES NOT LOADING" and I do ALOT of refreshing till SOMETHING comes up and usually have to refresh again.
Anyways, I was wondering if the Archos 70 cases fit these A7's and if anyone has tried one of them yet?? They seem to have someone of the same footprint but like I said, I can't really tell out here. I just received my A7 and love it so far.
One question, wrong forum but maybe someone can answer it, Can you use a stylus on these and if you can, is it possible to say set it up to where someone can "SIGN" their name on like a contract?

I have tried a couple of capacitive stylii (made for IPad, but they suck. Really spongy tips. I'd like to find something that would actually work for drawing programs and for when it is toooo cold to go w/out gloves! let us know if you find anything that works.
I guess I will wait till I get back home in July... it takes up to six weeks to get mail out to us sooooo, not going to waste my time with hunting down a stylus.
Got my streak for about a week now, but problems now start to happen. 2 days ago my streak started to mess up when playing sound. Whenever I turn the volume to max while playing music or playing a game, or just watching a video, the sound that is supposed to be played would stop and instead starts playing a buzz noise. This noise would not stop until I restart the streak.
Also, the streak is now randomly restarting. It was just sitting on my desk and all of the sudden the dell logo appears. Anyone else have this problem? Should I just send it back and get a replacement?
Any help would be great!

I have the same issues, I've been trying to find out more about it but I havent come up with much.
That being said I do believe this is a software issue. Froyo and Dells apparent lack of interest seem to be the most likely culprit.
I could ofcourse be completely wrong and we both have brand new toys that are busted :-(

Elvis, what did you decide to do? Did you send it in for replacement? I factory reset mine and so far other than some random lag and random resets, the sound issue is gone.

One side question, in the next 2 weeks, before my return window closes, if I install the HC beta on my streak, can I still return it? Or do I have to downgrade it back to 2.2.2 without root before I return?

It's always a good bet to return it to stock unrooted if you return. They may not care (people have sent rooted/ROM'd phones in to service without issue in the past), but better safe than sorry. Just my $0.02.
well I still have it, havent decided what to do yet. I found a few instances of the same problem around the net but no one goes into much detail. Im back to stock/unrooted after using streak droid for a bit but after a few days of happy video playing the freezes/restarts came back. I want to put the stock recovery back on and do a full reset...but I havent really looked into doing it, if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be swell.
Okay I see. Thanks Z4nd4r. I think I might just leave it at HC cuz it is too much work to get it back down to 2.2.2
HallucinatingElvis, good luck! Is yours the wifi version? The stock rom for the wifi version is in this forum. One of the top posts. You should be able to find it easily.
Well I just fired off an RMA request to New Egg, I figure if im spending 300 bucks it should be able to play a frickin video without choking. Im simply asking for a new one, hopefully I wont experience the same issues otherwise ill try and see if they'll let me exchange it for something else. I really like the little bastard too...

I just noticed today that there is a bump bumping out on the top left of my Moto X, like a screw is too long or something, and is starting to push through the back. But this wasn't there when I got the phone a month ago. Has anyone else seen anything like this? I assume it is covered under warranty, and I will call them tomorrow, but I thought I would ask and see if I am the only one, or if anyone else has seen something similar.
When Amazon dropped the price of the N6 to $399 I figured now was the time to finally buy one. I have had my Note 3 since March 2014. Well after using the N6 for about a week I am sending it back.
How is it that Samsung and their Spen (even though I might use it like once a month) have such a hold on me?
Anyone else leave this device only to come back?
Unfortunately I cannot get a Note 4 or 5 because I am on Att and I have to have root. I won't go without it.

2 main issues for me, 1 of them being major:
1) When the screen gets darker it just looks really bad. Can't describe but it, maybe a pink push everywhere?
2) The deal killer, when recording Video the camera will constantly refocus. It doesn't matter if you are in bright light and the subject is just sitting there and you are still. It is soo annoying. Especially for me, I have young kids so use it all the time. It literally refocuses every 5 seconds. I see no fix other than trying another app but even that people have said it hasn't worked.
Other than that works great, if you can get passed those things.
