Really need the expert here to help me out.
I restored my phone to rooted ICS stocked Rom, but get stuck in the samsung logo.
I have tried to flash the phone with the ICS stock Rom by odin but stuck at factoryfs.img, then I try to flash the phone with pre-rooted GB but stuck at the NAND Write Start.
any help is much appreciated !!

Sorry, but this seems to be the brick bug. So you didn't read and followe the warnings in all the stickies, right?
So maybe a good point for starting to read about brick bug here (this isn't meant sarcastic).
Easy help or solution isn't possible. You could try with your Samsung warranty.
Have you ever wiped on stock ICS ?

No, I didn't wiped anything on stock ICS.
What I did before is to is to use CWM.zip to root the stock ICS and then flash to Criskelo ICS ROM
it went very well and I don't find any problem.
before after using CWM.zip to flash a different kernel (speedmod), it stuck at the logo screen.
please help me Dr. ketan
restoring usrtnda

Yes , I learnt the lesson of not using the temp CWM.zip.
after I restored my phone, it should be in the default stock kernel .
Are you suggesting I use Odin to install a "safe" kernel , for example , "SpeedMod K3-13 for Odin" and try a wipe?

Yes... u can use PC odin and the tar file of speedmod in PDA to change the kernel... moreover when u install the speedmod u get CWM automatically
PS: not a 100% guarantee of success

I think this one is when you are sure shot brick, may be you should first try flashing rooted GB rom using odin and if that too didn't work, try the method in your link. You can find rooted GB in my sig.

Finally , PIT method as mention in the link works !!!
I got the rooted GB in my Note back in life now ! although I lost 5 GB after pit. it's better than a expensive paperweight before !
by the way, is there any way to restore the data that I have backup in stock ICS without bricks the note again ?
thanks

Great!! how did you backup? If it is nandroid then do not try to restore on GB and if TB or any other app then you can restore one by one, except system apps.
Hello guys , i have a galaxy note n7000 , i tried to root it yesterday , every thing was good no error no bug .... nothing .... but after that , my phone shutdown automatically every 35-45 minutes ( playing angry bird or just standby ) + my speaker just stopped to work , looks like a sleep of death but i get it every 35-40 min , can anyone help me please ?? what can i do ? can i try to install an official rom on it ?? im rly ( sad , mad ,afraid , ..... ) :crying:
not mentioned what method you used to root the note. did you uninstall any apps after rooting?
you can try installing the official ROM back using PC odin by putting the phone in download mode. firmware can me downloaded from samfirmware.com or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 .. It has a guide too on how to use Odin
Make sure not to wipe while on Stock ICS kernels

thanks for this fast reply , well i really dont know what method used for root , i gave it to my cousin who is more experienced than me , i'm a new android-user, ---> noob , is there any risk of hard brick or soft brick , if i restore the original rom by odin ???
flashing using Odin is perfectly safe. But the risk is when you try to wipe using stock ICS kernel. although, your problem i think will be resolved by just flashign the rom. go go ahead and let us know.
COOL ! i will try to flash it when i get it back from my cousin ! and i will tell u the result thanks again :good:
Hello everyone ,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S/SHW-M110S which is rooted with tegrak kernel . I want to install Jelly Bean 4.2.1 ROM on my device but I don't know how to perform it coz I'm new here in this thread and I don't have any idea about flashing , ROMS and all .
I viewed some of the threads on flashing Jelly Bean on my device and I tried all those but none of them worked . I have 2.3.6 android version . Please explain me in detail so I can flash my device with Jelly Bean .
What are the things I need ?
Is tegrak kernal ROM fine for flashing Jelly Bean or should I change it ?
Your comments will be much appreciated !
Thank you !

Hey , I downloaded all the required files and when I I tried to flash CWM recovery on my Phone , it didn't work . I did the procedure as you said and odin says successful but my samsung galaxy shw-m110s gets stuck at the loading screen . I waited for 10 minutes and it got stuck in the loading screen . I had to re-flash with tegrak kernel and its working again but can't flash to CWM recovery on my phone and can't upgrade to jelly bean
What's wrong ? Please explain it to me in detail please .

The procedure has been explained as clearly as possible on the guide so please read it carefully and follow it to the dot...as the steps has been tested and never failed only the Jelly Bean ROM is not fully stable and you will not have ringtone.
is it possible you are trying to power on the phone after flashing CWM? if so, you need to enter CWM using the keys to enter recovery mode not by using the power button.

Yeah , finally I flashed my phone . Yes my mistake was I was using power button instead of using recovery buttons
Now finally able to use jellybean , thank you so much ! Much appreciated !
Thank you .

Flash stock firmware via Odin to get a bootable phone first .
Then read the network efs/ imei stickies .

Thanks , yeah figured that out after reading for hours. tried searching for stock image but was unable to find one that works in odin.
Found one but that was over 1.1 GB but download server did not allowed free download for that.
BTW I can access download mode and have installed Odin 3.9 successfully , just looking for stock image to try flashing.
PS : Mine stock is Australia S3 4G telstra , not sure if other stock images would work or not but really appreciate if someone can refer to me stock image that can be downloaded.
