Hello
Problem: Whenever I try to boot up my phone it gets stuck on the htc logo screen. Beforehand I formatted in CWM everything I could try since it got stuck on the Beat logo screen but now it gets stuck on the htc logo screen.
My phone is successfully rooted.
I was messing around in Freedom which is an app since I was suggested it, I tested out a setting called freecore or softcore whatever it is and once it rebooted, the phone was stuck on the beats logo screen.
I would like some help to actually get this phone working, doesn't matter if I lose all my data, just at least get it working.
Thanks in advance.

It seems you damaged you ROM forever and you need to flash new one via CMW
Do full wipe :
Wipe data (factory reset)
Wipe dalvik catch
Install a new ROM
I recommend this ROM
Its the best

Thanks for the reply, how am I supposed to install a new rom, if I can't mount the sdcard since it doesn't have one.
Also how do I flash a new rom?
Thank you.
SXL don't has SD card slot
Its internal
From cmw mount your SD card to your pc by choosing mounts and storage then select the last one option "USB storage mount" I think
Copy your ROM and Gapps to your internal SD card from your pc
do a wipe of data and then go to advanced and do dalvik catch wipe
Return to main cmw screen and choose "install zip from SD card"
Select the ROM and flash it then flash gapps the the same way
Make sure to flash the ROM first then the Gapps
Reboot and enjoy

I know you don't have to wipe to upgrade to a CM nightly, but should I get Google Apps again when prompted to in ClockworkMod?

If it's the same version that you already have, then there's no point...
If it's a newer version, then go for it...
Latest version can usually be found here:

Thanks a lot. I need my flashing fix so I'm going to start doing nightlies. I just can't wait for final.

Flashed it without the GAPPS and upon rebooting they weren't there. I just downloaded them from the link, flashed, and now I'm setting them up. I guess it deletes all of your login info. No biggie, easy stuff.
Sorry, if you're doing a full wipe, then you will need to reflash the gapps. I seldom wipe on the nightlies...

Oh no I didn't wipe, that's why I thought it was strange. No biggie.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
its a RM shortcoming.. you have to select gapps at that prompt or reboot into recover and manually flash just the ROM.. otherwise your gapps dont survive
Got it!

I was looking at the Cyanogen site, and few people have been commenting on some of the latest nightlies removing the gapps (presumably overwriting the whole system folder).
No biggie, and not a common occurrence...

clockworkmod recovery v5.0.2.0
checking MD5 sums...
Erasing boot before restore...
restoring boot image...
restoring system...
Error while formatting /system!
any help would be appreciated [email protected]
probably a corrupt sd partition.
cwm is known top do that..
try formatting your sd card after saving the content to your pc first.
after format move stuffs back
I would go ask this question in the mytouch 4G section you will probably get better answers.
Hey guys,
I'm trying to install BCM ICS but constantly stuck on checking partition screen at the beginning of the install. I searched extensively on the forums and found that it's maybe the sd card.
My question: do I need an ext-4 partition on my sd-card to get the rom working?
What I did:
-Installed Blackrose
-Got the partition layout 220-16-200
-Flashed CWM recovery again via fastboot, just in case I lost the recovery
-Rebooted in recovery en wiped everything
-Install BCM 4 ICS
-Stuck on check partition screen
Thanks

For BCM you must have 4ext recovery

Thanks for the fast responds. I'll try with ext4 recovery .

Thanks, got it working now. Only sd card is now damaged and it can't find my wifi network.

Edit: Wifi now working after reboot.
Tried a sd card of a housemate of mine and that one is working. So will buy a new one tomorrow.
BTW this rom in incredible fast! Faster than gingerbread in my opinion.
Thanks for help again!

Hold on! If you originally formatted the SD card with CWM and didn't fully reformat with 4ext then try that first. CWM is known to screw up formats. Worth a shot anyhow.

I haven't formatted the sd-card with CWM. With CWM I couldn't install the rom. When the damage message appeared, I threw the card in my pc and formatted it.
I tried different format styles but nothing worked. Now the card isn't even recognized by my pc.
But thanks for the suggestion.
thank you,i flash it success

i can't install 4EXT after i setup Blackrose.
My devices was brick? (
^ That sucks!
Hi,
I would like to begin by thanking all the CM 10 developing team for their fabulous work!
Also, I'm sorry if this is a repost or posting in the wrong area. I searched allover but no one has had this issue on this device. I finally had to make a account as this is my first problem that's why I could not post in the development question.
I recently got the HTC Vivid. I did everything required to install Cyanogenmod mod, i.e. install rom, (I'm S-On) fastboot boot.img, etc...
After I had the phone setup and apps installed, I rebooted the phone. The phone stuck on the Cyanogenmod logo. I knew there was a problem after it did this twice. So, I booted into recovery to reinstall the rom after a full wipe. When selecting "choose zip from internal sd card", it gave "cannot mount internal emmc". I knew I had to start from the beginning as this is a soft brick. So, I relocked the bootloader, reverted to stock, then did everything again.
Again it did the same thing but this time it mounted the internal emmc but it would not boot past the logo.
I tried looking allover, even in other device forums, I did not find anything. PLEASE HELP!
JUST FYI, I AM NOT A DEVELOPER AND ALSO NOT A NOOB! I have rooted all the devices I have owned and I know what I'm doing for the most part. This is the first problem I have ever encountered!
Thanks
mubby93
Sounds like you are using clockworkmod
Uhhh...
Get twrp or the other recovery...
Then flash that...
Boot to recovery
Mount via USB in recovery
Let windows tell you it needs formatting and format it

I will give that a try when I get home.
Is the problem from cwm then?
Isn't it recommended to use cwm with cm?

No... CWM is not recommended...
Its unofficial and breaks partitions

Flashed CM 10.2 on my phone -> keeps loading the cyanogen Mod bootscreen -> reboots
2) "cant mount /sdcard/"
its again unlocked and tampered... Like I said ... all internal data besides CWM Recovery is lost

http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.ch/2013/10/first-custom-rom-based-on-htc-sense-55.html
Hi Guys. This is the link for Android Revolution HD 30.0 for HTC ONE with Sense 5.5 and Android 4.3. I have an international HTC ONE with android revolution HD 12.1 by mike1986 and android ver 4.2.2 . I would be very grateful if any one gives a tutorial on how to flash this rom on my htc one. I am asking for a tutorial because last time (when flashing my previous rom) my phone got nearly bricked (no wifi , no storage were the least of my worries) . I managed to unbrick the phone somehow but this time i want a proper tutorial. PLZ anyone post this tutorial. I will give a thanks to one who posts it...(I have already downloaded Android_Revolution_HD-One_30.0zip file) And i have a TWRP recovery..
You need to unlock bootloader, install custom recovery, makijg a preliminary assumption you have done so. Download the file. It will be in the download folder. Once downloaded boot up recovery CWRM or TWRP, whichever you installed. Make sure you have a NAND backup of existing ROM yoyu are currently using, safety measure.
Wipe data/ factory reset via recovery
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvic/cache
Install zip from sd card
Search for Android_Revolution_HD-One_30.0.zip in download folder
Follow Aroma Installer Option
Reboot
Wait for full boot may take a few minutes, be patient
BTW if you experience boot loop which you shouldnt just hold down power button for 15 seconds. Once phone turns off hold down volume down and it will boot into bootloader.
From there volume down to recovery option and try again

Reflash the ROM, without wipe (ie dirty flash), and don't select PureX in Aroma. It's not compatible yet.

I would rather have loudness of PureXaudio than the visiualizer
