Have you installed cmw since you updated?
Also, Sony do not provide detailed changelogs.

Yup tried to install CWM, no luck .. Halts at Sony Boot Logo..
But you have an unlocked bootloader, so just flash a custom kernel with cmw incorporated in it

Hi all,
I''m trying to fix a friend's phone by installing a new version of CM. He's tried to flash it and must have used a bad ROM because accordiing to default.prop, ro.product.device now equals galaxyace. All the ROMs I can find expect either GT-S5830 or cooper and so in this case the assert fails at the beginning.
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Gausie

First of all WRONG SECTION!!!
THERE IS A GREAT Q&A THREAD WHEN YOU CAN SEARCH AND ASK FOR HELP
Edit it using a file browser (root explorer e.g.) you'll need to mount /system as R/W

Hi everybody! I want to help save my xperia, flash and backup bootloader_backup.zip just goes to sd card in zip format then please post here in the topic, to be lt25i xperia v jb 4.1.2
dear vinisk7,
sorry, haven't opened my email for eons... will see what i can do... but i've already flashed a new FM and i'm afraid what i may send you won't be the original factory settings... moreover, i'm at a quandary on how to root the latest FM for LT25i... since my bootloader is locked, option says NO. i believe this can only be done via hardware tweaks.
cheerios,
bodega1968
could anyone help please ?

NextApp SDFix change the line in /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml. More info about this in this thread.
But Folder Mount does the same thing. After flashing clean Stock ROM I forgot the NextApp SDFix and start FolderMount and this App also changed /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml.

The Q&A faq, top post on this page, has baseband and kernel flashable zips for your phone, I believe. Worth a try don't you think?
