I flashed the TeamSeven kernel last night for my GPe 4.4.2 phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307371
But the kernel doesnt seem to have installed, and I now have an unkown baseband, MEID, IMEI, etc..
after sudo fastboot getvar all:

How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Run RUU for the gpe version my Sprint m7 did the exact same thing. Search for latest version of the RUU for the GPE version and then you should be good

Thanks!
I don't think that kernel is for the Sprint variant (M7wls or spr) and since the partitions are not the same it wrote over those partitions. Just in case you wondered why it happened. You got lucky that this is all that went wrong. You can brick your device if you flash the wrong versions stuff on it.

Hi Guy's
I am running a HTC one M7, Bought outright in Australia unlocked
-When I first got the phone I got rid of sense and rooted it and loaded up Bigxie Google rom 4.3
-I decided today to try upgrade to 4.4, I made a big mistake and went ahead and did it without S-Offing
-Long story short I had to side load 4.3 again after getting the Bootloop with 4.4 I assume due to no S-Off
After getting the phone back up and running again on 4.3 I have spent the last 8 Hours trying to S-Off
So far I have tried RumRunner, Firewater, temproot then firewater and Revone. All seem to fail or just finish with
no error, Rumrunner mentioned something about an Unsecure Kernel I am running kernel "3.4.10-ge22f38b"
Im running HBOOT-1.54
SuperSU v1.94
CWM 6.0.4.8
Anything you can suggest? is it possible to change kernels and if so what to?

hmm, no version-main.
anyway, hboot and radio would indicate a 2.24 version, so find a custom ROM (such as http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407589210 )
which is rooted and has an unsecured kernel
then try firewater and rumrunner
But please remember S-Off allows you to do a lot of things, including hard-bricking your phone, so do this only if you feel you are good with the idea of S-Off and have done some research about the various components of your phone.
.
Thanks, I will try.
Really the only reason I want S-Off is so I can load
"[ROM][m7]Android 4.4 KRT16S Google Play Edition - Rooted/Busybox/Odexed (11/26/13)"
Seems easy for most users phone but not mine
Hello All!
At first sorry for my bad english but i think you will understand it!
I got a S-off problem to!
My phone is HTC-Dev unlocked and my phone is currently running Viper.
Now i wanted to S-OFF because i wanted to run Android Revolution HD 6.1
Google Edition.
With Firewater i get a error.
With Rumrunner it's keeps running till 8 and stops
With Moonshine its keeps also running till 10 or something...

Just an update, I finally got S-Off, at first I wasn't going to bother with continuing my Quest to S-Off my HTC One after how much difficulty
I had however after having glitchy issues with my Google 4.3 ROM I delved in again and ended up flashing the Latest ViperOne venom Rom, after this I tried RumRunner again and after a while it successfully S-Off'd, now going to retry loading Google 4.4, maybe I should give the Viper ROM a go but I just like the look of the google rom more I think
Thanks a bunch for all the help in this post and the forum

You flash stock RUU.exe
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
I did not flash the RUU, I had flashed the firmware 7.15.401.1 from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LQDLpVZYyUpXPgC2sh1BvAS9Oo8B-fTiZU_JhpIH-fU/pubhtml#
And I am thinking that I overwrote the radio with a version that is not proper for my phone.
But I dont really have alot of knowledge about this so please advise me.

it wont effect your phone in that way, if you have signal, then go into your apn settings and reset them to defaults, you will then be taken to the first start up page again and have to select your operator again from the list of available operators, like you did when you first got the phone or when you install a new rom.
remove you IMEI and Serial number from your first post, its not good to post them, they guy who quoted you will also need to do the same.

just try it, its not going to hurt, just goto settings - mobile data - access point names - (3dot menu in the top right corner) select that and then select reset defaults.
Of course the baseband has changed, the newer firmware had a newer radio file in it, its not a radio file like your thinking though, its more of a software controller for a piece of hardw2are in your phone, just like every piece of hardware on your computer needs a driver, so does your phone.
The 401 firmware you flashed is basically WWE (World Wide English), if it had messed up you'd probably be hard bricked.

THanks, for explaining that to me
I just tried the same sim card in my galaxy s3 mini (unlocked) and it doesnt work in that phone at all (no calls or data). I think the sim may be defective, will get a new one and try again.
Thanks for your help
Edit: I did as you said in the m7 and even did a factory reset to make sure and results where the same. Looks like I got a bad sim card
@ Seanie280672: Thanks for your help bro
It just started working again after I installed ViperRom 7
Strange thing, just started working out of the blue but I am happy that is is resolved

I downloaded a RUU to downgrade my HTC One dual sim from android 5.0.2 to 4.4.2, the RUU matches my CID - HTC__J15 but it doesn't match my model num, RUU model: PN0770000 mine is PN0771000

And don't mind the S-ON I just got the phone S-OFF but I used getvar before I did the process.
My main/most important question is, can I still flash that RUU after having S-OFF to downgrade? the RUU had x.xx.401.x version but my version is x.xx.402.x is it still gonna work? (I don't mind the difference, I just need the downgrade badly)
Also if the version number causes an error, please link me a RUU for my phone that's android 4.4.2 or 4.4.3.
Thanks in advance.
I ended up having this HTC RUU Mode screen with warning logos on the edges
I got a imported one m7 yesterday in India. i bought it from ebay India. Its rooted with ressurection remix ROM loaded. The ROM is good.
My problem is the phone cannot detect network signal in my office room. But out of my office, it is able to detect signals. Other phones don't have this problem.
It means the problem is related to radio or baseband.
How do I know which version of M7 is this. And which radio/baseband file can be flashed on this.
From the box it seems to be from Germany as specifications are written in German.
Kindly let me know.
Some information:
RADIO version 1.02.20.0922 and
HBOOT version tl 1.61.0000
Seems sprint m7 to me.
Can I flash T-Mobile or at&t modems?
Or any specific Indian baseband from Indian ruu.

By this I understand that t mobile and at&t baseband cannot be flashed onto this?
And, if above is right, can I flash some other sprint baseband (older/newer)?
And, will CDMA sim work in India?
Can someone tell me how I can install a lollipop ROM on this resurrection remix (marshmallow)
I want to try lollipop as I read somewhere about LTE single bar to multibar signal after changing some entry of SKU id etc in default.XML file.
I can't find that file in marshmallow.

Sprint phone will only get LTE if connected to Sprint (not the same LTE band as the gsm variant).
The only roms that can be flashed on this phone are Sprint compatible custom roms (see sprint htc one forum), these roms made specifically for that variant and most likely don't need any sku id modification to "improve" your signal
Custom roms can be flashed using TWRP recovery. MAke sure to flash Sprint custom roms and to use Sprint TWRP.
Hello to you guys. please i'm facing this problem of no baseband and imei on my phone, yes i know this won't be the first time on this forum, but i think my situation is kinda different. So i bought this m8 from a guy and at first look, i tought the phone was international not knowing it is sprint version, i downloaded an international firmware but i got model id error. Then i did the getvar all and noticed it was the sprint version. i downloaded the sprint version ( 6..20.....) and flashed it via the sd card method, when i rebooted the phone i got no signal, then i know something was wrong, i downloaded and flashed several other sprint firmwares and stock ruu too, still nothing. The phone was running skydragon v4 when i bought it and it was able to detect the sim then. the problem started when i flashed the first firmware successfully. Also the phone came with a radio version of 1.00.20.0120 and hboot 3.18 before i flashed the firmware. here is my phone info now:
