As the title say's when I input *#301279# and select [1] display hspa info it shows both 0. I tried to select [2] CHANGE HSPA REVISION ---> [3] RELEASE 6(HSDPA/HSUPA) appears "CHANGE_REL5 HASDPA ON, HSUPA ON" but if I tap on it nothing happens.
But I have an icon of H/3G near the signal bars and I can surf the net.
I want to change it to 1 because it is a requirement on CM7 before flashing.
Please help me. Thanks in advance
It is not a "requirement" before flashing, it is simply because you will not be able to turn it on once in cm7.
If you can see H next to your signal bars then HSPA is probably activated anyways.
The comment about activating it is just for people who may have deactivated it before and would want to activate it after flashing cm7. (since you would need to flash back to stock to do so)
If it always was at 0 and you didn't mind, then it probably doesn't matter.
Edit: also, please don't start a thread AND post the question in the cm7 Q&A, it's a bit redundant.
If you really want to change it to 1, then I can't help you (I don't have stock rom to test), so wait for someone else to answer.
Apology on posting a new thread and thanks
I just checked and my HSPA info is HSDPA: 0, HSUPA: 0
but like you I also get "3G" or "H" icon in status bar and have no problems with data connection. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Hi fellas,
The USSD commands on my Droid 2 Global didn't work in European GSM networks. It had a battery indicator bug Also ( As it always showed one bar but the signal strength and 3G data was ok).
Have you tried your unlocked Droid 3 in European Networks Vodafone, T-mobile, Teliasonera etc.?
Hi,
I use DROID3 here in Poland... I have no problems with USSD codes, but signal strenght indicator is a problem also in DROID3... have no idea why... on my old Milestone I have full signal but on DROID3 it's only 1-2 bars...
I think it's only a software bug...
another problem is that system messaging app can't change pthoto size so it could be send by MMS... it changes the size but not enough... and than it tries to send 1 or 2 MB MMS so it fails... so I use Handcent...
Kind Regards,
Miken
Mate,
Here in Australia my Droid 3 using GSM APN's only shows 1 to 2 bars normally and I live in the city with full 3g coverage, doesn't seem to stop signal tho so I'm guessing its a radio bug and probably the same radio/bug as D2.

Sent from my DROID3 using xda premium
Same here. I've never had more than 2 bars, and it's always worked fine.
I can actually have 0 bars and it still works too...
Thank you mates.
I am not able to use **21* as Verizon block the call forwarding on the phone
I have Droids 3 and 4, both rooted and with up to date stock rom.
Droid3 works okay with Rogers, it connects, 3G icon appeaars and i can work.
Droid4 doesnt, it shows H/3G icon but it doesnt brows for example
I have same APN settings on both, and I'm pretty sure D4 sim has data allowed (on both SIMS Rogers profile shows data addon enabled).
Is it something i must do to make D4 work on Rogers??

Check your build.prop:

ro.mot.phonemode.vzwglobalphone = 1
ro.telephony.default_network = 3
ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc = 0
Having issues setting up my ATIV SE, a Verizon phone, for use with T-Mobile. The phone works almost flawlessly now except for one stupid issue. It will send MMS but gives a server error whenever it receives one. Tethering is unlocked, LTE is fully functional... just that one really annoying bug left to get out of the system.
I was hopping someone with working MMS on T-Mobile could share their MVSettings registry values
Currently mine are:
Hide3GPP2ModeSelection = 0
HideMMSAPN = 0
HideAPN = 0
SwitchIMS = 1
SwitchSMSOverIMS = 1
SwitchVoiceOverIMS = 1
ShowVoLTEToggle = 0
I've provided a picture of the error and my MMS settings. On the ATIV S I was able to set the authentication type to "none" but Verizon has lock it to PAP. Any ideas, help, or advise?
Thank You!
(EDIT: The phone was on 3G to test if it would work on the epc.tmobile.com - it did not)
I own a XT1068 Moto G 2014. I use 2 SIMs with it, both in the 900/1800 MHz band in Europe (GSM).
Since day 1 I have had trouble with this phone. In fact, I even returned it to the store (Amazon) and got a replacement. Same problems: first SIM will have weak signal, or completely lose it. A phone reboot is required to return to normal.
If I remove the second SIM, then first SIM works fine: no more signal loss or weak signal.
Is anyone experiencing this problem too?
Both devices have always been running Lollipop, so I cannot say what happens with Kit Kat.
