Samsung Galaxy like notification bar for Atrix HD? - Motorola Atrix HD

Hello guys,
I hace this question but couldnt find a concrete answer googling.
You see, I have the galaxy note 8.0 and it has this feature that you can pulldown the notification bar even from full screen apps so you can peek at new emails for example. That can be done in every escenario, the bar Is always qvailable.
Theres something like that for the atrix hd that doesnt involve going out the app, pull the bar and the return?
Any aevice would be appreciated.

[Q] Notification and toggles : 2 "clicks"

I'm on AOSP (paranoidandroid CM9) in tablet mode, and what I find most annoying is the notification bar...to access the toggles you have to click one time to make the notifications appear, and a second time to access the toggles...is there a way to make the whole thing appear with one touch ?
Using stock AOSP - there is no way to do this. You need 3rd party mods.
Thanks for the answer..I don't know how the guys at google thought it would be a good idea to do it this way.

True, especially that it's a tablet UI which means...lots of space on the screen.

cm 10.1 JB4.2.2 unable to swipe down status bar in apps

I just flashed my S3 LTE with cm-10.1-20130316-UNOFFICIAL build. After that everything seems fine except that whenever i am in any full screen apps cannot swipe down to open the status bar. Anyone know how to fix this?

I haven't used CM in a while, but I believe its meant to be like that. As I said, I haven't used CM in a while, so I might be wrong.

It's still there. Annoying as hell to be honest. Always have to change app/go into task manager to see the notification bar.

Have you noticed how old is this thread? I also approached exactly the same problem, but there is option in more customizable roms (like carbon, slim roms, liquid smooth, illusion) called "status bar peek" or something similar, which enables similar behaviour of status bar like in Samsung stock rom.
Do not know if it is in CM nightlies...

Now that my bootloader is unlocked I have a question

All I really want is to enable my back button to serve as a menu button so I can get rid of the black bar. If I could add some settings toggles to the notification shade too, great, if not Power Toggles is working just fine. I like Sense 5, don't want to get rid of it. I don't want a heavily modded rom. Just want something as fast and stable as complete stock with the ability to add the tweaks mentioned above. I searched around and couldn't really find the answer, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

I have no problems waiting. I always have a hard time finding what I'm looking for on XDA so I wasn't sure if it was just me being a derp about the search or if it really wasn't out yet.

Hide Menu Bar on bottom??

I searched and found some answers for tablets but not the atrix hd.
Anyone use a particular program to hide the menu/status bar on the bottom of screen? It would be nice to have a full screen when gaming or video etc.. perhaps something that just hides and then reappears when you slide side screen or something.
Any custom ROMS that have this built in?
THX
This is Paranoid Android, a custom ROM. I believe this what you're looking for. In the second screenshot, the notification center is replaced with those lines, swiping all the way to the right shows notifications, while swping all the way to the left shows quick settings. Anymore help let me know
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
PAC, Paranoid, and CM all have that feature....in fact, any rom with PIE has that option. Its called Expanded Desktop. There are also apps on the market that have that feature as well, but I gotta recommend just using a rom with that feature built in.
Thanks Guys.. Will check them out
If you're using stock android.
Use GMD gesture or fullscreen!

Notification Icons on Lollipop

This may not be possible but I figured that I'd ask anyway. Is there any way to get the notification icons that pop up on the status bar to be more like the KitKat icons? I've got some notifications that show up as a plain white square on my status bar ever since I upgraded to Lollipop a few months ago.
Let me give you an example of couple that I'm running into. I have the NASCAR Mobile app on my phone. I also have the 14News app (local news) on my phone. Anytime I get notifications from either of these apps, I get a plain white square on my status bar and I have to take the time out and look and see what it is. I'm wondering if it is something in the Motorola settings that I'm missing because I am also running Lollipop on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (8") tablet and I don't have these issues on that device at all.
Any help that can be given to me on this would definitely be greatly appreciated.

do you have greenify? sometimes the system will lump those together if they've gone inactive for awhile and are greenified.

I've never had Greenify on my Moto X at all. These apps that I was talking about are apps that I use and get notifications from several times per week and I'd like to be able to tell at a glance which app is giving me the notification on my phone.
By the way, I've marked both apps as priority and I still get the plain white squares on these app notifications.

then perhaps it's due to too many notifications (sometimes from the same app). I noticed that on some apps like fb. on other apps like scrabble, there is a number embedded on the notification icon.
i believe there is a setting to tell whether or not to group them together or not.
There isn't anything like that on my status bar at all.
Are you asking if its possible to change the notification icon style on Lollipop to that of KitKat/Jellybean then yes its possible with the use of some Xposed mods. If the notification icons themselves appear distorted due to some reason then I'm afraid there is something wrong with the apps perhaps. A screenshot or two would have been really helpful in getting a better understanding of your issue here.
If you're asking about notification ticker, there's a module for Xposed by the name of 'Enable Notification Ticker'. I have it installed myself.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to root this phone but I may try it one of these days.

I'm not really talking about a notification ticker. I have tried these before and found them to be more annoying than useful for me. Thank you anyway for your input.
