Hi Guys,
Before I posted this I have trawled the forums looking for the answer but only found part answers hence this post.
Ok I rooted y n7000 using framaroot then installed superuser and cwm all good to this point.
I then tried to install a custom rom and this is where it all went pear shaped.
I ave been left with Android system recovery <3e>.
Every time I try to install a rom I get error message :
signature length doesn't match EOCD marker
signature verifaction failed
Ok so I have now downloaded a stock ROM,ODIN and Keis however Keis will not connect to my phone and I have no idea how to use odin.
I really would appreciate your help Guys

What custom rom did you try to install? Could be a bad download.
Does the phone still boot?
What was the stock software that was on your note?

OK.. Then download Philz jb kernel. Any will do. Download a custom rom like cm or any Samsung based tw rom. Place both on external sd card. (use a card reader).
Then boot into recovery mode. Then choose apply update from external storage, choose the Philz kernel. Flash it.
Power off the phone and boot into recovery mode again. You should see Philz cwm recovery.
Now choose install zip and flash the rom zip file. Wait for it to finish. Reboot.

an unlocked GT-i8190... not sure of the model... I use straight talk but it came with a t-mobile apn... and region is part of the problem... I'm from the USA but there's no USA or North America region firmware that I could find.
And I did a backup but not thru CWM (like I imagine I should have).... I used titanium backup...
I think the reason I probably ended up with a boot loop is because I placed the dmodv6 rom on the external sdcard and booted from there... I probably should have put it in the phone sd... whoops....
I read somewhere that region didn't really matter as long as it was the latest... Is this true?
Thanks.

So I attempted to flash the stock firmware but the same thing is happening... BOOT LOOP!
I'm at a loss... I don't know what to do from here. Any ideas?
What rom did you have before you tried dmod? If it was anything else but stock--based you will have to do a factory reset to get out of boot loop.

It was the stock jellybean 4.1.1... I've done the factory reset and cache wiping and such to no avail. It also gave me the boot loop when attempting to flash back to a stock firmware... but I just noticed it was for 4.1.2... I'm not sure if that would be an issue or not... but I just downloaded a rooted stock 4.1.1 firmware and am attempting to flash it now....
EDIT: Same deal... didn't work. Should I do format/ system? I've read lots of info today about boot loop problems but it seems most have it fixed via some of the options I've tried. I don't care if I lose all of my data or anything... I just want my phone to work again!
Now whenever I boot in cwm it asks me if I want to install an untrusted package... some sort of update.zip... Should I be booting into cwm after flashing the stock firmware and wiping anything? I was under the impression it would simply reboot and my phone would work if all went well. I'm just unsure about all of the steps.

Everything looks good on Odin until I go to reboot... CWM is still the recovery. I remember having a hell of a time flashing CWM... It kept booting to stock recovery and then, one time, it worked. I've tried over and over to get it back to stock recovery but it's not happening.
I'll keep trying, though. What is this PIT thing? I hear it's a last resort... I'm starting to think it may be my only option unless you good people have any more ideas.
I appreciate it, guys!

It means you are still able to access the recovery? If yes then install a other ROM from external SD card. I think this will help you : remove your external SD card (if you have one) put it in a other phone or some else download an other ROM, move it to your external SD card, put the SD card back to your s3 mini and install it via CWM under the section "install ZIP from external sd".
Do a nandroid backup before and don't forget to wipe factory data and cache

While installing a coustom rom my phone(Samsung Galaxy Ace GTs-5830) had stucked. Then I have restored my phone using CWM backup to Pacman jellybean custom rom. Even any custom rom are unable to treat my device as "Galaxy ace 5830".I have tried to install stock recovery, but same thing don't detecting my phone and installation is being aborted.
What can i do now?

Don't flash stock recovery(I guess there isn't any ). So, try flashing stock firmware via Odin. Use correct name of ops file : COOPER_v1.0.ops & Odin straightaway displays the model name in its title bar even if the phone isn't physically connected to PC via USB cable.
Use Odin v4.42 atleast.
& pls. never flash stock firmware directly over any jellybean rom. First flash any stable CM7 rom & then u r good to go
Hope this helps...!!

When your phone is not detected by odin, it's usually the driver's. Just follow this link,

Go to the "Preparation" section and download all the necessary files. Re-install the drivers again and check if odin detects it. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
I think Cable is OK, because mass storage mode is working with that cable. But when in download mode, PC saying Mulfunctioned device.
I have put ops file, showing my model number. But whenever I click on start. Its saying to connect the device first.
I think problem is not in my PC driver.
Because custom ROM installations are also aborted, showing error about device is not "5830"

That's a stock recovery, u need to flash the custom recovery and then flash the gapps from SD card or internal.
P.S.: u need to flash the gapps and rom at the same time. If u do it separately then u will be in big problem(worst nightmares).

I m using pac-man ROM.
Here u can find the list of kernels with their specifications:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ernel-collection-kernels-roms-s3mini-t2810435.
It would be better if try out the overclocked kernels.
Remember flash the kernel which belongs to the respective android version. Don't flash lollipop kernel to kitkat ROM or vice-versa. If u need help, @Android-Andi can help u in this case as he too has the same device. U can get the pacman ROM for ur device easily (made by novafusion).???
