you probably already tried but my first guess would be to turn off every xposed modules, reboot and see if it works. If yes then try to isolate which xposed module is causing the issue (in any) by turning them off one by one and rebooting.

Hi. I have HTC one and just installed NAdroid Revolution 20 by mike with Android 4.3. TO use the Sense 5 toolbox I know you need xposed. One of the mods I use is battery percentage inside icon. It works when i activate it but everytime i restart my phone the percentage goes away. Is there a way to keep it on all the time

Sorry to be jumping on your thread without an answer for you but I have the exact same setup as you but none of the mods will activate when I reboot! I have Xposed installed as well which appears to be working but won't permit a reboot, so I downloaded Quick Boot instead to do this. Not sure if that is related to the mods not activating, there are one set of mods that do activate and these are CleanBeam Mods by vomer but nothing else.
More chance of a reply if we have 2 similar problems!
Hi All,
After a recent flash of ARHD 71.1 (HTC One M7), I cannot get the Framework to work. I just get the message ""The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?" I've tried:
uninstalling the framework then re-installing by downloading the apk.
disabling all Xposed modules and re-installing the framework
uninstalling the framework and installing an older version
installing the unstable beta version of the framework
disabling/re-enabling permissions in SuperSU
In the 'Framework' tab of the app, the 'app_process' and 'XposedBridge.jar' both show a red line under the 'active' column. The bundled counts are 58 and 54 respectively.
The modes I'm trying to use are:
Advanced Power Menu
Boot Manager
Hide Xposed IME
Network Speed Indicator
Sense 6 Toolbox
Swiftkey Goodness on More Fields
XDual Statusclock
Xposedstatues Text
YouTube AdAway
I've had various Xposed mods working before I updated ARHD, so I have no idea what's going wrong now.
Possibly relevant:
I could never get Sense 6 toolbox to work from within ARHD, even before I started adding other mods:
My first install of Xposed was via Aroma at the same time as I installed ARHD 71.1.
I hope somebody can help me here!
Thanks

Hi GermainZ,
Yes, I've looked through the FAQs but I can't find anything that's completely relevant.
There seem to be issues (bootloops) with the Oppo Framework, I don't have a fix yet.

I'm not running Oppo
On some HTC One phones with CM11, the System UI force crashes. This seems to be caused by SELinux restrictions

As far as I know, I'm not running a CM ROM. Anyway, I'm not getting FCs.
Apart from that, obviously it won't work if the conditions mention above aren't met, e.g. if your phone isn't rooted

Yes, of course it's rooted!
Does Xposed get disabled if I flash a new ROM? Yes, because the file it modifies, /system/bin/app_process, is part of every ROM and will be overwritten when you flash a ROM. However, as long as you don't wipe data, the Xposed Installer app will still be installed, so you can just click on "install/update" again in the Framework section and reboot.

Xposed was installed with the new ROM via Aroma, so this isn't relevant.

The FAQ doesn't end there - there 8 additional posts. If those don't help, post your Xposed logs after a reboot.

Hi Germain,
Yes, I've read them all. But none of the other FAQs are anything to do with getting the Framework functioning.
I've just gone into the Framework tab, hit 'update/install' which has cased a reboot (as designed) and now I've gone into the Logs section, but the only message there is 'Log Is Empty'.
I'm wondering if the fact that I'm running the ARHD version of Sense 6 toolbox is causing problems? I presume this would only work if Xposed is installed (via Aroma at the same time as I flashed the ARHD ROM), but perhaps it's a 'standalone' version of Sense 6 toolbox? Just reading back that last sentence makes no sense to me, but then I'm open to any possibilities at this stage!
One of my mods is APM (Advanced Power Menu), and I've noticed that there is a special Xposed Installer quoted in an APM post specifically for the Sony Xperia. Might there be any special installer for the HTC One that I'm not seeing anywhere?
Is S-On active and have you tried installing the framework using the recovery?

S-On is active.
Before installing via recovery - I think I should do a COMPLETE uninstall of the Framework, but not from within the app itself, as that hasn't seemed to work. Any ideas of how to do that?
Thanks for all your help and patience so far!

Excellent! But I'm not sure how to install and apk using recovery. I know how to flash a zip, but not an APK. I'm using TWRP 2.6.3.3. Do I need to use the adb sideload feature and install if from my laptop?
Sorry for this noob question!

Change the installation method in the Xposed Installer's settings.
Hi GermainZ,
I had to get back on board my cruise ship before your last post so my apologies for taking so long to reply. In the end, I did a complete re-flash of ARHD 71.1 and rebooted twice (just to make sure) before attempting to activate and xposed mods. This seems to have done the trick. One of the mods doesn't seem to be working at the moment, so I plan to de-activate them all, reboot, then activate them one-by-one, rebooting in between each. I've read that this is sometimes necessary. If I have any further problems I will of course post again but, for now, thank you very much for your time and help.
Regards,
miles_muso
I have recently downloader Xposed Installer for my HTC One (Android 4.4.2) and have successfully installed it (including the mods I want) but the mods don't seem to be able to work.
For example, I have Xposed Lockscreen Wallpaper (1.6.2) checked in the 'Modules' tab, but it doesn't seem to open when I my phone opens. The standard lockscreen pops up instead. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Please help.
p.s please let me know if you need more details.

Have you installed the latest Framework? You can check by tapping the icon Xposed Installer and see if 'Framework' is written in red letters. If so, go into framework and press Install/Update (i think, i have the dutch version running, it's the option on the top).

I presume you have rebooted your phone? You have root? Do you see a green number '54' too? Those are the requirements for the Xposed Installer to work, including the modules you already checked.
Edit: Are you running a Sense-based ROM? The module only seems to work with Stock Google/AOSP

Yes, that's how it's supposed to look, but I've found your problem: You are running Sense, the module is for Stock Google/AOSP only.
Noob here. I need some help please. I installed the latest Xposed installer on a Asus TF700 running Crombi-KK RC 2. I installed several modules rebooted so everything would activate but after the home page came up there were no more soft keys at the bottomie: return, home, recent. I tried going into Closed to search some of the module settings to see if I could find the problem but if I open a setting to see if it could be responsible for the problem I can not back out because I do not have soft buttons. I tried stopping and disabling Xplosed in the settings/apps but could not back out that either for same reason, no soft buttons. The only think I can do is reboot but that has not solved my problem. Does anyone know which modules could be causing this problem? I also disabled my full screen app hoping that it had been enabled but it wasn't. Thanks.
Disable your modules one by one (open the Xposed installer, go to modules, disable one or more, select "Framework" from the drop down menu, then tap "Soft reboot"). No soft keys needed for that.
You can also temporarily disable them all, check the stuck thread for info on which key combo to use while your device is booting.

if u cant recover from what you have done reboot into safe mode by holding power button and click and hold power off and click OK. :good:
after rebooting into safe mode. goto settings > apps and uninstall Xposed or clear its data.
Thanks, that is what did and now have soft keys. I did try disabling the navigation bar stuff in GravityBox but that did not work so I removed GravityBox but still using some of the other Xposed modules.
NO NO NO!

gravitybox is awesome. dont uninstall gravitybox
goto gravitybox>Navigation bar settings and enable the master switch for the nav bar and check enable navigation bar. then rebbot and customize
hit the thanks button if u think i helped you (Y)
Did as you suggested and now everything is okay. I did those steps when I first installed GravityBox so I do not know what went wrong. The only thing I did differently is I did not update to the latest version, maybe that had something to do with it.:highfive:
Softkeys gone due to xposed
I hv sony xperia e1 rooted with latest version of xposed installed.
When i installed "Sergir Blurred System UI" module to get translucent notification panel My Softkeys went after the reboot. I disabled the module from xposed and uninstalled it but nothing worked for me. But when I opened xposed installer and in the framework tab I uninstalled the framework then everything worked fine even the keys came back. But I want to customise my phone with xposed and whenever I install framework my keys go away.
I hv even tried toggling immersive mode but it didn't work 4 me.
I tried clearing data of xposed from settings but that also didn't work.
Is it still required to deodex the ROM to install edxposed on stock Android one?
Because I can't find information that are up to date
it works!
It's not needed to deodex the ROM anymore just flash the magisk modules in this order:
Riru core
Edxposed
Reboot
Also gravit box [p] works not everything but still
I admit I was a little nervous but this information is missing and needed to be tested, I'm on August security patch 10.0.12
I installed it without deodexing and used it for blocking wake locks with the good old Amplify.
Go ahead and install it

Are you experiencing a second reboot when you turn the phone on?
Whenever I power on the phone I unlock it and first time I try to open an app it reboots and then continue to function normally

For me too. I think its normal. I get a third reboot with GravityBox Module installed
I also tried xposed on my a2.. I don't think it does any extra things for us! When first time i tried xposed on my phone and installed some modules reboot my phone to activate them. I got soft brick kinda thing. And using gravity box or max lock makes device much buggier.
