Help with 2nd-bootloader setup, TWRP wont load - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I own a Kindle Fire HD 7" (X43Z60) the one WITH camera in front.
Bought it from a online auction site used, it was on bootloop (reason i got it cheap)
Since i know electronics i was able to make my own Factory Cable using some useful guides on this forum, managed to get the KFHD7 on fastboot without issues.
Then I restored it to STOCK amazon os 7.2.3 using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1951254 it there was no problem, the OS loaded, there was SuperUser and it was rooted.
Then I went to the Kindle Fire 2nd-bootloader + TWRP 2.7.0.0 for the Kindle Fire HD 7 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128848 and followed all the steps.
downloaded files
checked md5 hash for all files
checked ADB working
checked fastboot working
flashed everything
I followed every single step and after finishing to flash all the files using fastboot, yet the KFHD7 does not get into TWRP, in the last step i reboot the device using: fastboot -i 0x1949 reboot
It shows the KindleFire logo in yellow, and then blue as the OP of the guide states, but even while holding down Vol Up (far left button) from the yellow to blue logo, it wont load TWRP, in fact, it just stays on the blue KindleFire logo, i have left it for more than 30 mins yet it doesnt load up.
Using: fastboot -i 0x1949 oem recovery
Doesnt work either, it wont load up TWRP it will stay on the blue kindlefire logo.
Im still able to get into fastboot using the factory cable once again.
Redid all the steps once again from KFHD_SRT to 2nd Bootloader +TWRP, and still stuck in the blue KindleFire logo.
Any clues?

UPDATE:
Tried several versions of Hashcode's TWRP modified version goo(dot)im/devs/Hashcode/tate/
From TWRP 2.7.0.0 downwards until i reached 2.4.4.0 this one for my surprise, actually booted up after holding the VOL UP button for 1 MINUTE.
Then tried Hashcode ZIP updates to get TWRP to 2.7.0.0 and i face the same original problem, the Kindle is just stuck in the white/blue KindleFire logo for more than 10 minutes without reaction.
Using the ZIP updates for TWRP 2.5.0.0 and 2.6.3.0 boot the WTRP logo after a very long time, like 3+ Minutes but it just freeze on the TWRP logo, does nothing even after leaving it load for more than 15 minutes.
Any clues?

[Q] Help Please Red Triangle

ok so I am extremely new to this, I rooted my kindle and that worked fine. I then used fire flash to get twrp in is and it booted into the TWRP recovery mode with no problem. I didnt have any ROMS on it yet just wanted to make sure it would boot into TWRP. So I tried to reboot the kindle and it was stuck in bootloop. I plugged in my factory fastboot cable and put it in fast beet. It is detected in my device manager as an adb device. I used KF first aid to try to restore it and now I am getting a red triangle saying kindle fire system restore. neither of the 2 options work though. When it boots it is the normal kindle orange and then goes to the blue logo then it gives me the triangle. Is there anything I can do to fix it.
Um I would put it in fast boot and restore the system image, I haven't used kffirstaide before, but if that's the screen im thinking of its asking you to either do a reset or boot normally, and neither are working so something it probably wrong with the system partition. So look try look for something about doing a system image restore if u can in kffirstaid. That's best I can guess at for now.

[Q] KFHD7 Bootloop

Hi all,
I followed the guide linked below. Everything went swimmingly well until after step 3. I installed TWRP 2.6.3.1 and booted into recovery. After verifying that the custom recovery worked, I rebooted to system and am now stuck in a bootloop unable to get back into TWRP. The only difference from the tutorial was I used the 'reboot into recovery' option in FireFlash rather than rebooting and entering TWRP manually. Any help or ideas would be great! I have yet to flash a ROM and should still be Stock.

This happened because the newer updates to the is check the boot loader version, if it doesn't match the os it boot loops, just turn the device on and hold volume down until the logo turns blue and it should go into recovery again. If you can get into recovery you can push a custom ROM and gapps onto the kindle and flash it so you can use it again.

I am unable to enter recovery via that method. I've read a few other posts, describing issues similar to mine, I believe I am stuck in fastboot. The 'Kindle Fire' (not blue like it was during 1st boot) loading screen loops. I've tried dabbling using fastboot but havn't gotten very far. I can't connect via adb.

Hold the power button down for 20 seconds until the Kindle powers down. Now power it back one. What does the screen do?

Screen goes to the stock orange colored 'Kindle Fire' logo, stays for ~2-3sec then turns black and logo appears again.
I'm guessing you will need a fastboot cable to fix if you can't get into fastboot as is.

Yep, what Stunts said. Get a fastboot cord off eBay or just buy the tip here http://shop.teamblackhat.info/Factory-Adapters-motadapt.htm or if you want to make one, the tutorial is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2207122
You will want to use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1951254 (KFHD 7 only) to restore your tablet.

Alright, I've purchased the cable, I'll read up on this thread and hopefully everything works alright when the cable gets here. Thanks for the help.

You're welcome. One more thing, you will need to download SDK so your ADB and fastboot commands can be recognized. Here is a video tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2096888 Here is a video tutorial for the system restore tool as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-8lTMLCGfE It's a lot of information but you'll fare just fine.

[Q] KF HD 7 (tate) - Recovery loop after CM12.1 install

Hi...
I got a Kindle fire HD 7 - tate. I had CM11 (kitkat) running for quite a while now nicely.
Today I decided to upgrade it to CM12.1 - Maybe a fault.
First I flashed TWRP 2.8.3 (previously I had 2.7.0) from xda here. Ok so far. Just it brings some
gibberish on top of the orange "kindle fire" text on boot. But otherwise it seems to work.
I installed CM12.1 nightly from today. Before I did a full wipe in TWRP. Ok so far. It bootet up nicely
in CM. Now I flashed the gapps and rebootet. Ok so far. Everything seemed to work.
But now I maybe made a deadly mistake. I decided to do a factory reset in CM12.1.
(I wanted to make a really fresh and clean install with also running googles first boot wizard).
My KFHD7 shutted down and rebootet. But since now It is stuck in some kind of a loop.
The blue TWRP boot splash appears. Every 2 seconds the screen turns black for a second
then the blue TWRP boot splash comes back and this happens now again and again.
I turned off my tablet by a long press on the power button a couple of times, but it does not help.
Any idea how I can revive my tablet?
Thanks for all your help!
Ok...
I am one step further now. I bought a fastboot cable (not so easy to get in germany)
and flashed twrp 2.7.0.0 using
Code:
fastboot -i 0x1949 flash recovery kfhd7-twrp-2.7.0.0-recovery.img
Than I did a
Code:
fastboot -i 0x1949 -w
to format userdata and cache. Now it boots into my TWRP 2.7.0.0.
Lets see how far I come now....
mine stays on
<waiting for device>

Help: Kindle Fire has a bootloop !!!!

Hello and good morning.
I am writing here, because I have a big problem. My Kindle Fire HD (first Generation) does not start any more. After an update (Cyanogenmod tate) I only get the yellow Kindle fire logo. And after few seconds the Kindle starts again. Then - after about five minutes - everything is dead. But if I do a reset I get the same situation. Unfortunately I get no connection to my device via the computer (tried Windows 7 64 bit and Ubuntu). With adb devices I cannot detect my Kindle. Is there a possibility to get into fastboot to install CWR etc.?
Help me, please
Herbert
So to clarify, the first time the logo comes up it freezes and then resets itself, followed after about 5 minutes the kindle just shuts itself off?? Also, you ask about getting into fastboot to install CWM. Do you not have a recovery installed? Such as CWM or TWRP?
I installed TWRP version 2.6
But I also cannot boot into the recovery (Power on & Vol +). Then nothing happens. I actually have ordered a fastboot-cable. Maybe I have success with this cable. Otherwise it is finished for me.
Yea try booting into recovery and flashing the system images to get back to stock. That's all i can think of since i'm not entirely sure what happened, either you got a bad download or your kindle just flipped out and essentially bricked itself.

[Q] 7" Tate bricked?

Hello!
I have flashed magisk 15.3 on my Amazon Tate through TWRP, and although everything seemed to be going okay to begin with, after I rebooted however, i am stuck in a bootloop.
My device is the Amazon Tate.
My exact issue is that I cannot enter recovery, I cannot seem to enter fastboot and on my screen is the white and orange "Kindle Fire" logo. My rom before this happened was CM13, so its not actually booting into the rom... It's not even booting into the white and blue screen.
Unfortunately when I plug in the tablet now I get the battery charging screen. This is probably a good response as it shows that I still have that partition.
However I still cannot boot into recovery. Could this be because on the Amazon Fire Tate you need to have two bootloaders to open the recovery? One might have become damaged when installing magisk? I'm truly stuck
It's not detected by my laptop in any way.

I had your exact problem and solved it yesterday. The first thing you need to do is buy a fastboot cable (I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KYVEM1I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to get into fastboot mode, then follow my other post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hd/7-development/rom-marshmallow-t3315075/post75553313
Lesson Learned: DO NOT FLASH MAGISK ON THIS TABLET EVER!
