Should never do what you did, that is to say, never disconnect the phone during a flashing process.
If you are unable to retrieve with different software available to you, then it is hard bricked.
We must change the physical ROM, that is to say change the motherboard, or do so in a specialized repair service.

I think it is a last question. Now, when I connect Lumia via usb cable to my pc I get message "unknown device". Will specialized repair service know what I do with Lumia ? Will be warranty considered ?

If it is still under warranty, so it's good.
If you need provide an explanation, provide the simplest, such as "When I turn on my phone, I discovered like this", or "I made an update and reboot, I discovered like this, " etc.
As it is currently, the specialized services can not see that you tried to flash.

Were you able to solve the issue? I've got exactly the same problem.
Was trying to rollback from windows 10 technical preview, got the error message on windows phone recovery tool.
Snapped the cable in a hurry and now stuck with a dead phone.

Don't panic
Hi,
please plug your device to your computer. Will it be discovered in Device Manager? If so, is it Nokia Bootmanager or Qualcomm USB Somewhat?
If it is showing the Nokia logo, just retry flashing with WDRT.
Otherwise, look for Lumia Flash Tools. Switch device on holding vol-up or connect it holding vol-up to your computer. When it shows flash and cog wheel, you can flash it with Lumia Flash Tools. You have to select the .ffu file which was downloaded by WDRT.
If the device is recognized as Qualcomm somewhat, I experienced, that after a night without battery it got back to the red Nokia screen and I could retry flashing it with WPInternals.
Best whishes!

Bricked Breeze (SPV C700)

I guess I bricked my phone by flashing the ROM. Unfortunately I can't even enter the bootloader (tried all button/key combinations) nor is the phone recognised by any computer (via USB).
Is there any solution to "unbrick" the phone?
Thx for your answer...

I used this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=306165 to enter bootloader (the BL-screen showed somthing like "ipl-sspl by Des SPL-1.01") then I flashed with RUU_BREE100_1.34.251.1_1.38.00.10_HTCEUR_SHIP.exe.
The flashing process started but the phone never came back to life.
No answer means probably there is no solution...Maybe somebody can confirm?
Does anybody have experience sending a bricked phone to a service center? Are they capable of fixing the phone without changing the motherboard?
Thank you so much for every short reply...
try to use flashing from card
copy original rom as bree.img into the root of the card and enter bootloader

Thanks Alexx_B for the hint. I tried flashing from card but the problem remains the same: the device doesn't even enter into bootloader.

Ahhh ... so you DID flash a package containing an SPL/IPL. Sounds like it failed during rewriting the bootloader and you have a paerweight
The service centre fix will be a new m/board I would imagine. Is it under warranty? If it is, I doubt they'd be able to test how it got into its current state, and so I'd just claim "It stopped working one day".

Thx darrellr for reply! Unfortunately it isn't under warranty. I'll sell it via ebay as "bricked" and maybe somebody can use it as spare parts resource.

Flashing your phone can't damage it physically, the problem must be another thing, tro to restore it with Sony Update Service, also i don't understand your charging problem but if it's not charging maybe you damaged your phone or it's not correctly detected on windows. try to reinstall all drivers just in case.

Hard-Brick (if i m correct) is some problems both in software and hardware
maybe problem on kernel, bootloader, recovery or in hardware part problem in power & etc.

Yep you're right, brick is a literal term, it turns your device into a paperweight, AKA A brick.
Bricking a device goes beyond the actual components. You can brick ANY electrical device through MANY means. Bricking, in short often relates to some process that will often permanently destroy your device software-wise. It is often unrepairable except for that usual rare method that MAY save the device.
Bricking usually involves the firmware of a device and the very hidden memory that is often carried over through hard resets and such. Think of it like the "Brain" of your device. If it gets ever so slightly tampered with in the wrong way (such as a flash, which would be the equivalent of brain surgery here) it can be permanently damaged forever.
then what should i do

bricked phone, detecting apx only

I tried to flash my P880 but something went wrong and after it phone is not working anymore. SW update mode is not working, only when I connect it to PC it's detected as APX, is there any way to unbrick this phone? Is there any working APX drivers for P880? I was looking for those drivers for couple of hours without any resuts, always when I found it didn't work (when I tried manual install drivers from selected foder), always failed. Thanks for any advices.

My first attempts ended badly also, hopefully this thread will help get you into S/W update mode. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39951993
Btw, APX mode is a no go on this device.
not working even if i put the batter, any other solutions ?
only thing that will surely work is lg center. i've been on the forum for a while now and i dont recall anyone fixing the device going into apx mode by themselves, but i think i've seen someone who had it repaired by lg. we simply don't have the program they use for fixing it available

Yeah if we had nvflash access via APX mode, we could recover against any software brick, LG choose to leave this out of their bootloader which is a shame.
I tried to flash the official stock rom "V20B_00" by lg using the kdz updater, but I didnt put off battery during update software, I just hold vol down button and connected to the PC. Then started to update, i was waitting for a long time, but it didnt update, so i disconnected the phone, and now it's not turning on.
Do you think that I am able to unbrick this phone?

Im unfamiliar with how the Lg S/W update mode actually works, i would assume that its separate to the main bootloader(which by disconnecting you maybe/ most likely corrupted) but either way, you HAVE to get into the update mode to repair. Hopefully you can find a way in (search the forum), but if not its most likely a brick im sad to say
btw, is it possible to repair it via JTAG? or just one solution for it is lg service center?
I'm in a unconfortable situation, because my task was to put the europe language pack to this phone, and now its not working. The phone probably wasnt bought in country so it might be some problems with lg service center

I cant say for sure, but JTAG is very unlikely. LG will fix the phone, the question is for how much. Normally if the bootloader is gone it will require even LG replacing the motherboard. I cant comment on how much this may cost.
I'll cut it short as i've already encountered this situation
If you can't exit apx mode normally
(meaning you voluntarily entered apx mode by holding vol + & - at the same time)
you are experiencing a hard brick
Only case we could solve it is if we had apx drivers, but as you've already searched..there aren't any
If you want phone back, in my experience, only solution is service center
I know it sucks, but sometimes it happens
One thing you could do is search the web for someone who's ditching his O4X for a really low price (because of a shattered screen or other malfunction) and replace the motherboard yourself. If you're in luck that can be cheaper than a service center and then you don't have to worry about blown bootloader fuses.
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
so the repair by lg service center wont be for free? its official progeam from lg fault that I got bricked phone not mine, it shouldnt be for free?

You said yourself that the phone wasn't bought from your country.Even if you get over that problem they'll still replace the motherboard.I doubt you could even prove that it was their software's fault. If you can do it, like stated above, buy a cheap 4x hd from the internet and replace the motherboard.Well it's not worth the effort in my opinion.
I think you should try your luck with the service center and buy another phone if you can't get it repaired for a low price or free.

Bricked M7 RUU

Hello everyone,
One week after using my new M7, it is not switching on anymore but luckily my PC recognizes it as QHSUSB_DLOAD. I am trying to find it's RUU but I can't get the CID of the phone to download the suitable RUU.
I Googled the forum but I didn't manage to find anyway I can extract the CID of the phone. How can I get the CID when the phone is bricked and not switching on? Anyone can help me?
Thanks

Lucky? Not really. ..
QHSUSB_DLOAD can happen for 2 reasons
1. You have flashed something wrong (an incompatible firmware for example) and the phone went in QHSUSB_DLOAD mode. In this case you might be able to unbrick using the unbricking project.
2. If the phone went in QHSUSB_DLOAD mode itself (not directly after a bad flash) then its an hardware problem and will probably need a motherboard replacement.

What exactly happened:
Bought the phone one week ago, unboxed the phone and received an update. After downloading the update the phone refused to install it and it gave some error message that the current software of the phone is modified and the phone cannot continue installing the downloaded new update.
Two days later, I was transferring some files from another phone to it using Wi-Fi direct via an app, the M7 freezes with no response to anything whatsoever, tried to restart the phone using the power button but it didn't switch on.
I can see that there is hope as long as the PC recognize it. Can you sort up my situation again? Thanks.

Not really. If the phone is in QHSUSB_DLOAD mode the only known method to revive it is using the Unbrick project which only work when the phone went in this mode after a bad firmware flash. Its not possible to use a RUU neither, the phone must be booted in bootloader/ RUU mode for that. Still worth trying the unbrick project but I don't think there is any hope.

DEAD P10

Hey Guys,
so i was made the bootloader unlock based on this . Everything was ok, got the TWRP on it.
After that i was install this rom. Aaaand it's gone. Black screen. If i plug it to my PC, the HiSuite starts. If i try to put it to recovery, nothing. Turning on neither.
So how can i unbrick it? Found this but the link is dead.
Or if i bring it back to my provider, will they change it, or they will see the opened bootloader?
Thanks guys!

In your shoes, I would not bring it to any provider like you have it.
I would perform something like the following: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/huawei-p10-debrand-rebrand-update-guide-t3691013
There are tons of guides on how to unbrick P10 phones too. I could not recommend any specific one, but your phone seems to be far from dead, you just need to perform a full reflash/rebrand procedure. Best phone to rebrand to IMHO is VTR-L29, you gain an additional SIM with no counter effect.

Did you try with fastboot mode? You will need fastboot drivers installed in your computer, but if you can see the device, you should be able to flash a new recovery or whatever needed to start from scratch...
