Hi guys,
I'm currently using the One (M8) and was wondering if my old One (M7) would work when I travel abroad. The M7 is not activated on Sprint since I updated to the M8. It is SIM unlocked though.
I didn't want to bring the M8, incase I mess it up.
Thanks

Yeah, it will. 2G will work for sure, while 3G and 4G may/may not work due to the frequencies.

Hi All,
I'm from Canada and I'm planning on picking up the GE HTC One. I will use the phone on the carrier Rogers.
Does anyone know if the GE HTC One phone will work on Roger's network?
Thx

Hi,
I am thinking of buying an htc one sprint version from ebay. It says it needs to be activated on sprint. Can we unlock it without activating it on sprint?

Just a warning in advance, you are in the wrong forum. There is a Sprint htc one forum, where you will get better help.
Since these are independent devices, you can try to do it the hard way, but to do it legitimately, I think you need to be on contract.
I'm looking for someone who has a unlocked HTC One m7 bought from the HTC site, i'm looking to buy one but i need to get a imei to see if it works at my phone company (cricket). cricket has been bought by AT&T so i need to buy a GSM phone and test imei. If anyone with a HTC One m7 from HTC site unlocked and could provide a imei it would be extremely helpful.

No one will post their imei. It will work fine. I have worked for ATT for years and have activated many off shore devices.

As long as it is GSM unlocked you will be fine.

Hello Everyone,
I apologize if Im double posting this, but I could not find an appropriate spot..
I've currently hit a concrete wall,
my Sprint M8 is rooted, S-off (through Sunshine) and unlocked (so says my HBOOT screen)
Currently on a Sense Based rom, 4.4.2
I've tried putting in my T-mobile Sim card, but no luck or any signal.. I've tried doing the HTCOdam.apk or what ever and did not seem to have very much luck.. Ive tried switching my network to GSM instead of CDMA/LTE, not luck there either. All I'm reading is that I need to complete a "sim unlock" and my phone should start grabbing signal.. reaching out for help
does any one have some advice for me? much appreciated
I believe the Sprint HTC one m8 is CDMA only compatible. Witch means you can't even if you Sim unlock .

It can be used on an international carrier but not another domestic carrier (like T-Mobile).
It's been a long time since I've tinkered with this phone, so I'd like to ask this. Support for m7spr seems to be diminishing on the Sprint HTC One subforum, so now that I'm starting to use this phone again I might as well ask.

No, the Sprint M7 have a different partition layout than the GSM M7. There are also a few roms compatible with the Sprint variant in the M7 Development forum.
