[Q] 2 Years later... How happy are you with your 4X? - LG Optimus 4X HD

The title says it all!
I wanted to hear about you guys about how satisfied are you with your Optimus 4x HD ! Say if it matched your initial expectations, long term satisfaction, if you still feel its fresh and not obsolete, how happy are you with LG's support to the phone and if you regret or not having bought it. Oh , and if you feel your battery performance is as good as in the first days !
Bring the debate on !

Hey . I really feel its a better device than it was at the beggining. Everything is more smooth and faster. I prefer official cm sources over p880-dev but the strength goes from those second and there is future. Even if official sources gives fluidity etc i hope p880-dev sources will be fixed from all bugs if it is possible.

I agree. There was a period when Android 4.3 came out until early Android 4.4 (until Demetris got in charge of CM) that I was very desperate and I was thinking of replacing my p880 with something else.
The thing is, now it becomes better and better by the day. Especially with Official CM. It has got to a point that CM11 is smoother and generally better than stock.
Now that we're getting M builds (reference: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55447963 ) I expect that we can finally have something even more stable and reliable than ever!
I think I could keep using this phone until we stop getting official CM support (or until it breaks )

Really? I've been feeling exactly the opposite, but I'm using slim bean 4.2.2 because of the battery drain ive experiencied with other roms... What are you using now ? (rom , kernel , special apps )

Oh yeah, battery drain is definitely higher on everything 4.2+
I'm using what my signature says, but I don't mind charging my phone a lot. It usually makes throughout a whole day (barely). Sometimes it doesn't.
I'm not using any special apps for the time being. I used to use Tegra Overclock, but since I stopped using iodak/cyodak, I don't really need it.
If battery is something that you're really concerned about, stay on 4.2. Otherwise, if you're willing to sacrifice some of that in order to get performance, features and the latest version of android, Official CM is worth checking out!

For me it is another time the community is great.
2 years ago, the stock LG was crap, locked bootloader etc...
Now, CM11 is starting to work correctly (i mean, all the bugs are fixed, and we could enjoy a really different experience), OmniRom, and a lot of others.
I'm simply angry LG did not support / open source everything they could after 6 / 8 months. The smartphone is not updated after this time, and some spent hours of hacks to make it supported.
Kudos Demetris, Lauffenstepenwolf, Adam77 and others.

Totally agree with you. The official support of our phone was crap, without the development of our great developers I think I would have ditched this phone long ago. After 1.5 yrs of using the phone, I think custom rom is the major force that keep 4x users, while official JB just drive them away.

I am satisfied, but the device is nearing end of its life cycle for me. I knew if i chose this device, I'd choose good hardware for lackluster official software support, so I hoped for an active devs to bring us latest android builds bugfree, and that's what they did, to everyones delight ;p

Flashed device 1/2 hour after I purchased it. Original LG ROM was awfull. Worked fine on cm10, works even better on the new cm11 snapshot. Thanks @Demetris I'll gonna keep p880 as long as it will work
Gesendet von meinem SM-T520 mit Tapatalk

im no so happy because battery life terrible, gps is terrible, camra like 5 mpx

The battery is really bad, the phone is not as smooth as is should be, APN not very good...
I use it since 2 years, and at the end of the year i will change it !
Probably for a Nexus 5, or Xperia Z1, Moto X (2013) or OnePlus One
But thanks to this amazing community :victory:

Yeah same here, terrible battery, constant lags, touchscreen accuracy issues and a lot of little things that ultimately add up to make for an awful experience all around.
Can't wait for the OnePlus One to get officially released without the need of an invitiation so I can leave this pile of trash and regret behind.
Now to be fair to the devs, ROMs have improved a great deal recently but no piece of software in this world can save this phone.
Only good thing is that you can use it as a hand-warmer in the winter since it always gets so hot.

Apart from battery life, and ultra weak camera, i like the phone...design is good, screen is good, performs well for me.
But battery and camera are MAJOR flaws. i will change this phone as soon as i can.

I have had my Optimus 4X for almost 2 years (will be 2 years at end Oct)
Initial Expectations
Yes it did meet them when I bought the phone. It was fast had an awesome screen removable battery and removable storage.
It has also been brilliant at streaming media to/from compatible devices and plays most types of media files
2 years later does it meet expectations? The phone does what I need it to do but sometimes is a bit frustrating when it wants to pause/freeze so no it is not quite meeting my expectations atm
Long Term Satisfaction
After LG dropped software support and concentrated on their G2 and G3 I'll admit I did feel my device was feeling a little obsolete!! But I have a Galaxy S and S2 running KitKat and will be installing custom ROMs on my LG soon to bring it back up to date and give it a new lease of life
It's quite rugged taking a few drops with little or just bezel chips
Camera - Takes good quality pictures and video
Battery life isn't anywhere near as good - it's been rinsing the battery especially during gaming.
Bad bits
LG support, yes I have had to send it back at LG's expense but the lack of software support doesn't fill me with confidence!!
Camera takes a whilst to get ready to shoot
Phone can warm up a fair bit espec during some games
There have been times I have almost regretted buying it but having a think about it - No I don't regret it

its ****,
- some plastic lost here and there, power button 50% unresponsive, and 60C when watching videos
but i love it. yeah, this thing has a soul

My 4X looks like new after 1,5 years use. Screen have no any scratch but battery life is shorter about 40%. I always carry it in my pocket without any case. I think that was the best choice for this amount of money.
Sent from my LG-P880 using XDA Free mobile app

Yo estoy muy muy contento con el 4x. Uso la rom de Zaiben que es perfecta para mi. Saludos

For me it is still a nice device.
Even battery works like others of my friends.
(but I use profiles either with pure 2G for telephony and battery saving or 3G-only for surfing)
We have newest ROM state and still 4-5 cores are state-of-the-art and only LTE is missing.
Camera ist working OK, but not high-end
and GPS sometimes great and sometimes bit "curious".
Overall , I am still happy and will wait for bigger differences to newest phones in the market until I will switch.
So, lets hope for further support on our custom-side ... :fingers-crossed:

After 2 years still looks like new device, very satisfied, I am playing with ROMs (MoKee, Beanstalk, Vanir, Nameless, ATM on ZAIBEN RC16), for the time 2 years ago on my opinion best buy device!
Looking forward on new Beanstalk ! :victory::fingers-crossed:

It's okay, just that it gets lagging and heats up very fast.
Using Vanir nightlies and battery drains fast. Looks like time for a replacement battery =(

Are you satisfied with your o2x?

I am coming from a SGS Vibrant. Which IMO has one glaring defect, the GPS. And that Sammy is slow to release source and updates. But the g2x seems to have a slew of problems:
-auto shut down
-major battery drain
-Call quality issues
-screen issues
I realize product forums are going to be very heavily weighted with issues but there seems to be so many for the O2x and I thinking about passing.
All devices have areas of improvements but are there any or many owners who are satisfied with the O2x? Could/would you recommend this phone or is it too early to tell, IE hoping LG with fix some issues with updates?
I would also like to know this, I'm coming from a Vibrant and would love to get the g2x when it releases.
i had sgs and dhd and i'am very satisfied with my leaked o2x

I'm (not) sorry to say, but I don't experience any of these issues.
Battery lasts around 1 and a half day, depending on how I use it. And frankly, that ain't bad at all.
Everyone I've called to say they can hear me fine, and vice versa.
And what screen issues?
And autoshutdown? Never had such a problem..
Very statisfied - it's the best phone I've ever seen.
My specimen has none of the issues I have read about except for very light backlight bleeding.
Dont have any of the listed issues and very happy with my LG
Its a wonderfull phone which will only get better as new firmware are released
really happy aswell, had a few reboots at first but haven't experienced one, in the last 3 weeks. After Paul has started producing rom, the phone has become blistering fast. Came from an iphone, and haven't regretted my swap, fantastic phone
Well, it‘s brilliant to use.
Backlight leak isn't a problem. It's quite minimal. I've had one reboot and one freeze in 2 days. Reboot certainly caused by a bad memory card eject. Freeze was during charge, not happened since. Battery seems good.
If there is a fault and those affected can get repairs or software updates to fix, then living with these niggles is ok. It really is a great phone when its running.
My only issue is no gb yet and i can't root just incase it is a hardware problem.

Very happy with mine and Paul's ROM just made this device crazy fast. Battery life can improved, hopefully with gingerbread .

What about the loudspeaker when the phone rings? All the reviews I red said it's very low!
Been using my new 2X for a bit now and haven't noticed anything major. Call quality is more or less like previous phone (ie, fine) and no reboots or hangs yet.
Looking at a black image fullscreen I can see slight bleed from both top corners. Sloppy yes but not a problem for me. My Samsung 24" monitor has way worse bleed all around and that was called "acceptable" by reviewers compared to other monitors.

And that is great. I was hoping that people like you, and others who have posted in the thread, would do just that. On the whole in the general section we mostly read the bad aspects of a device. It's hard to gauge the positives. Hence the creation of the poll. Currently (if you exclude the "show me the results" option)
-65% are satisfied
-15% are not satisfied
-19% say it's too early to tell.
Although the numbers are not optimal, they do paint a much better picture than just reading the problem threads in this section.
Please keep the votes coming so future owners can get a better idea of the scope of the problems, or lack thereof, with the o2x.
It's quite the opposite in the Arc section, people are very satisfied up there
I love this phone! Yes it has some small problems for instance the fact it cant run mkv video's without stuttering is silly but that will be fixed sooner or later. I dont have any problems with it and since paul's custom roms it runs like hell!
I liked the phone, but I had some issues with the LG modded Android firmware the phone came with. Contact list was not syncing properly and I had was annoyed by the crap apps installed and "recommended".
However, I installed Pauls MoDaCo firmware and was amazed how much better it was. Leaner and meaner. More stylish.
I hope a mod will be made quickly off of the 2.4 release with dual core support, but it's very responsive as it is now.
This is my first smartphone so I don't have much to compare with, but I devote a considerable amount of time to tweaking my workstation desktops so I am sensitive to slow devices of all kinds. Hate them..
3 days of use...mostly pleased
Had my LG 2X for 3 days now. Obtained in UK from King of Gadgets.
Had a couple of lock ups during charging, however since setting the phone to stay awake during charging I've had no difficulty. Battery life is good..I'm at 70% after 15 hours mild use.
Apart from the couple of lock-ups I like the phone,..it is fast and smooth. Came from a HTC Hero running 2.2. I did not like the LG skin and look forward to loading some customs ROMs, once I'm convinced I'm keeping it.
hope this helps
Best phone I've ever owned (And I have owned al lot of phones!!).
Only issue, once in like 10/16 days, a autodhutdown...
Doesn't bother me tho.

[POLL] Your Opinion about The LG O2X so far

Hello,
This is al little poll
Many people are a little bit dissapointed of this phone.
The hardware is very good, but the service from Lg is the main factor why people are dissapointed.
I want to know what your opinion about this device is
What is your opinion about this phone so far?
(look above the post for the poll)
this isnt the best phone ive seen so far, it isnt even the best looking one so far, buuuuut... if we consider that at the date of creation of this phone it was the first dual core ever, with great graphics power and productivity to match, nowadays brands still make new phones that are very simmilar to the o2x if not equal, so id say time passes, things change, but at the time it was being sold, it was quite simply the best phone ever. oh, and at least lg doesnt make phones that look like cheap toys... *cough samsung *cough*

You are right
The hardware is fantastic for a phone made about 2 years ago.
But nividia is the main problem.
If they aren't updating the drivers, a custom rom of cm10 will never work as it supposed to be

I add Low RAM, and, something that bothers me a lot, is that the screen is asymmetrical, the lower space (between the display and bezel) is huge while the top space is short. I also don't like the protuberant back (very low quality) camera.
On the other hand, the display density is very good, but the IPS does not seem to be very good quality, since viewing angles aren't that good.

Okay so that is my opinion on the LG Optimus 2x or in Germany called "Speed".
I brought the device in the beginning of December 2011, I compared it to my exgirlfriends Samsung Galaxy S2 and similar devices hard and often.
I took it for alot of reasons:
First of all the LG Optimus 2x was way more handy/ergonomical compared to the SGS2, its not too thin, not too wide. It is a bit more like the iPhone. 4' inch is really the most ergonomical size in my opinion.
Second, the device hardware is still a very good competitor to the SGS2, the SGS2 does have HDSPA+ (which isn't even near to be an standard in german cities) and 1GiB of RAM, the Optimus does have "just" 512MiB and HDSPA but therefor the powerful Tegra 2. So paying +100€ more for the SGS2 was just a joke. Also the LG Optimus 2x feels simply better and looks better especially in white, like mine.
Third from the beginning, I didn't cared about the software, cuz its the same with a pre-installed Windows on a Netbook, there is just crap on the device and it's slow, so you are FORCED to clean up, root and install something like Modaco. Same goes for the SGS2.
ICS in general made some trouble on both SGS2 and 3 on the beginning, also that Gingerbread is a very stable software and is in general a very good piece brings me to the question why I should upgrade anyways? I know because it can give us better performance and it looks better, but the device just works, I can write SMS and make calls and battery life is also good. The battery always reaches 24hours easy. Even 48 hours are possible if you are busy with other things than playing around on the device but writing messages both WhatsApp with GPRS or SMS/Phone calls.
For me the LG Optmius 2x is handy, well priced and the software is doing what it should. I had the stock Froyo and Gingerbread each a month from December to February and I only upgraded to a customsoftware because I was bored. Games worked well and I never had problems with the device. I just cleaned up the stock software, thats it! The 512MiB RAM don't bottleneck the device IF you manage and close stuff on your own. YOU DON'T NEED 1GIB OF RAM. It just makes the user lazy to manage the software maybe spying him cuz he installed so many crap like facebook.
In the end I can say, its a good phone. For me it will be in service until 2014 or rather the end of 2014 with or without ICS. Nor the Optimus4x or the SGS3 or the HTC whatever they call it. Will give you more. You still just can write SMS, accept phone calls and use WhatsApp. Just faster? Or because you guys really need to show of you penis lenght? Be effecient and think about it. ^^
At least it rather depends on the user.

Crap GB ROM!!!
Sent from my thoughts using telepathy :banghead:
I agree with N3mesis. Actually GB STOCK and CM7 is quite stable on this phone and battery lasts around 20 hours with moderate usage. In fact presently none of the highend phones gives much over the O2X excepting quad cores and higher RAM. Infact 512 RAM has never posed any problem for me and i have always 50 to 100 mb RAM free depending on roms and softwares used. I dont think quad cores and huge RAMs are required for phones for daily use including a bit of gaming like temple run etc. And regarding ICS it is just my over expectation of getting it as promised by LG makes me feel bad when they are not delivering it.
Only thing is LG knows how to kill their FIRST IN THE WORLD FLAGSHIP phone and destroy fans and customer base.
You guys basically sum up my situation. When I was shopping for a smartphone (coming off a Huawei X3) I looked at the GS2 and the Motorola 4G but this was cheaper, had similar specifications, and felt better in my hand. I also liked the little HDMI port.
I updated to stock GB when I got it, rooted with NVFlash, and used Titanium Backup to remove some of the preinstalled software. Apart from an unfortunate fall which chipped up the plastic trim (didn't chip the glass though) it's been sweet.
Production battery life isn't great but I picked up a couple of 3500mAh batteries on eBay for $16. They'll last a day or more with moderate use and I charge every night anyway.
Of course the problem now is, thanks to the clever people on here, upgrading to another phone becomes increasingly pointless. I'm still on the stock ROM but have a modified kernel that is advertised as making it faster and smoother, and it certainly seems like it does. The battery does seem to drain faster when I'm reading on FBReader, but that could be my imagination. Otherwise it's very good.
Sure, the Galaxy S3 is a better phone, but is it $700 better? For what I use it for, this is more than adequate.

The xda forums are what keep this phone alive to this day.
Its a good device but I've seen better ones, however not at this price.
The real problem with it, no matter how you see it is lg and their way of treating the device.
This one could profit a lot from a jelly bean update.
Until then however I will stay on WajkIUI ROM and be happy.

I think this is a great device... Very capable camera, nice screen, good battery, and feels great in the hand. Only downside is the support we aren't receiving from nVidia. 512MB of RAM is more than enough.... and why do viewing angles... Do you expect yourself to be lying down on your bed and having your phone laying face up on your night stand watching a movie?

I got this phone second hand about 2 months ago as my first Android phone. I must say that the open source Android world is really vast and awesome. This phone is by far the best phone I've ever owned.
The stuff I like:
+ good screen
+ nice design & build quality (though the bottom part is a bit long imo)
+ fast processor
+ Android of course, and really good devs
+ being "unbrickable" (I've bricked my sis's Galaxy 5 before :/...)
+ value for money
Stuff I don't quite like:
- poor support from LG/nVidia
- battery life, especially on 3G data
- feels heavy compared to other phones
- seems to lack RAM at times (I have lots of stuff installed/running). 1GB would've been nice. - camera could've been slightly better

This phone has the nest hardware best look and with cm7 it's almost best in software (waiting for cm10 after the official drivers we get)...fir me this is awesome phone in almost every sense...
To all the people that say that the camera is bad, i compared it to my sister's GS2 and it isn't that awfull as you say it is, it is a camera phone! Are you really expecting DSLR quality from a phone? (Just a little side note, some of the people that say that their phone camera sucks just doesn't know how to handle the camera, try to explore the camera settings for a bit to see if you can take better pics.)

[Q] Is the 4x for allday-standard-use ok?

I'm a long time XDA-Reader and I want to buy a new cell phone (old phone: GalaxyS 9000i with CMix-Rom)
By design, I like the LG 4x at best. Also the price is good. It would be important to me that there are some stable, fast and enduring ROMS upcoming (also with good accu-handling).
Can I expect this in the near future for this phone? I don't need thousands of ROMS, just a good one!
The phone working very good with stock rom.
When you have root and delete some of LG Craps the 4X HD would like faster than S3. (Off my Eyes)
The best ROM in the moment is Cyanonmod 10.1 the ROM look deathly awesome and the is 10x smoother than S3 and other phone. ....
I love this wonderfully ROM and rate each other take the ROM.

Thanks for your answer!
I'll see, if my LG 4x is unlockable --> then i will try CyanogenMod immediately.
I ordered it today -- 3-4 days delivery time.
How about the chances to get Costum-Kernels in the future. I guess, the 4x is not so interesting for developers.
But my anticipation is great.

Well actually we have a few kernels and ROMs already, we only just got a "universal" unlock so it needs time. But we have a performance kernel in alpha for stock and cm10.1, a stable version of this kernel is also nearly finished. Given time there will be plenty of stuff to play around with!

4x arrived
My 4x arrived yesterday!
Is there a stable (realy stable) Costom ROM I can use at the moment or do i have to wait until one comes.
On my phone there is a stock 4.0.3 ICS (3-branded, i guess).
What optimizations make sense at the moment.
I can't wait to try.

6-8 hrs moderate to heavy use.
upgrade your phone to JB first. If you want to still in stock rom, just root your phone and remove unwanted apps from LG, and your phone will the best phone on the planet

Which apps from LG you recommend I should remove?
So, since yesterday I'm on CM 10.1 RC1 with root and bootloader unlock.
I played a lot the whole day, so my battery drained from 09 am to 09 pm from 100% to zero.
But as i saw, most of it was because of the bright o) display. Display on and I can watch the percentage-circle decrease
Question about battery: I'm not shure, if I should enable WLAN at home, because I have no limit data at HSDPA and about 3Mbit/2Mbit (down/up). My WLAN has 4Mbit/0.5Mbit (down/up) speed. So no big difference. How much can I save battery without using WLAN (1 more hour?)?
I'm satisfied with CM so far, but hope for a few more tweaks with new Kernel.

3G uses more battery than WiFi....

I'd like to report another experience:
Last night, i put my phone in airplane mode from 10 pm to 08 am and the battery has dropped down from 41 % to 31 %. That's about 1 % an hour.
My GalaxyS (i9000) only dropped about 3 % the night.
But I guess, thats at the moment normal with stock Kernel.

If you want all day standard use, go for S3. ICS is far better with battery in 4X but JB sucks it fast. S3 will give better daily use for low power consumption, smoothness, USB OTG, barometer etc. You can check reviews on gsm arena.

The phone is rubbish with stock Samsung OS and software! Slow often glitchy, long waits for simple stuff like switching between apps or even going back to the home screen.
BUT - with a custom ROM this phone is potentially AWESOME. Lag is gone, battery life much better. I make my girlfriend jealous and she has an iPhone 5S, lol.
Slightly bigger screen than iPhone, much lighter, more sturdy, expandable memory, FM tuner, and with a custom ROM loads more features and better interface.
Some ROMs are not available for this phone but a lot are: Many available from maclaw.pl, I've tried CM11 but found Carbon (latest unofficial KitKat) has a few more options and some nice optimisations to maximise battery life without sacrificing performance at all.

Hey, thank you, i think i will stay with it, and what can you tell me about games?, is good enough?, thanks bye
With stock, framerates go slow sometimes - since going custom no probs at all. Play a lot of Real Steel World Robot Boxing, a 3D effects-heavy game, runs without a hitch. Screen quality good, graphics good.
I just got one yesterday as a replacement for my work phone. I was using an iPhone 4 on iOS 7. thdevicee mini is a about the same size, but I have the benefits of android, root, larger screen, and the Google kit Kat keyboard. compared to the outdated iPhone 4 it's a decent upgrade.
my personal line is a galaxy s4. the s3 mini doesn't compare, but given that the s4 is my primary device and the s3 mini is for work calls and email only it's pretty dang good.
its a good phone but we have only a few developers for custom roms
---------- Post added at 12:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:43 AM ----------
also we still dont have miui rom for example, wich almost every other phone already have one stable :/
custom ROM support, or lack thereof, doesn't make a phone good or bad...
if flashing ROMs is a priority, get a nexus as AOSP based ROMs on pretty much anything else sucks. any device with a Google Play Edition version and an unlocked boot loader will be a very close second.
I think the S3 Mini is a very nice phone but there are many other phones which has better performance and battery but they are not so cheap like the S3 Mini The Moto G is okay but the Gaming Performance is bad.. sry for my bad english
It's typical mid-range, with a decent custom ROM every day tasks are quick and the phone is very responsive. It'll gobble up casual games easily and some old intensive games but unsurprisingly you're not going to playing brand new high end games!

Moto X 2014 still worth buying???

Hi.
I've been looking at quite a number of new phones recently deciding that its the time to upgrade. I bought a Oneplus Two but sold it on after it was just too big and heavy for me. Its was overkill for what I needed really. I currently have a Moto X 2013 which I love but development on XDA has pretty much stalled. I have been looking at the Moto X 2014 as it can be picked up new for a good price over here in the UK.
So would you say its still worth buying even now?
Cheers.
I think this phone is pretty unique, even if some people would consider it an "old" device, so I'd still recommend buying it if one is looking for an original approach to android.
A Snapdragon 801, a nice FHD AMOLED, a mean front speaker, an ergonomic and original design with sturdy build quality are definitely its main objectively strong points.
It's got some flaws, such as a slightly subpar camera and a small battery (which will still last the canonical 16 hours, mind you).
What sets this phone apart from others, however, is the IR and motion sensors paired with always-on speech recognition, which will give you surprisingly reliable functionality on a stock ROM, but those are unfortunately stuck at 6.0... If I had to choose one flaw in this phone, it'd be Lenovo's fault.
It's not like gestures and voice recognition don't work in custom ROMs, they do, but it's not the same level of optimization (I've explained it more than once in lengthy and boring posts like this one )
Bottom line: this phone is awesome, I'm running 7.1.1 ATM and it's a neat user experience, but I'm not going to delete that 7 GB TWRP backup of my stock ROM+Xposed setup anytime soon!
(yes, I have the 32 GB, I assume you won't even look at the 16 GB model 'cause it's really not worth it)
I think so. I just bought a new one (XT1096) with 64Gb off ebay. The shipping was slow, but worth the wait. It came from Hong Kong. My old one was 32 Gb. The battery wasn't holding well and BT was kind of flaky. I also bought a new Moto G4 for my wife. It's a great phone, but it's too big for me. I loved my old Ghost too. I was the perfect size.

ATM stands for At The Moment
By the way it's Resurrection Remix, there's no better 7.1 ROM out there

I'd say it's the only ROM that doesn't make you regret leaving stock firmware.
Battery life and performance are both way better, but it's still got a couple bugs (charging while the phone is off doesn't show any percentage and 1080p recording is unstable)
I'm usually very picky about bugs and features, but this ROM really nails 95% of what it should.

Are you sure its better than Lineage OS? How much Screen On Time you usually get? How nuch you get on Antutu Benchmark?
I usually get around 4-5 hours of SOT on a 16 hour day. I use substratum with a black theme and sprinkle charges when I need to, but it's got solid standby. I never run benchmarks, but it's definitely smoother than marshmallow
I'm sure it's better than Lineage because I've tried pretty much every ROM and RR is essentially the most stable version of CM with extra features and improved battery

I heard some people complained about camera issues, do you have any?
Yes, I haven't updated to the latest build yet but I can confirm that recording 1080p videos will most likely reboot your device. 720p works fine and is not that much of a loss on a smartphone sensor
