[Q] P1010 dead!!! - Can you identify this error??

p1010 dead!!
i tried to flash overcome kernel
there some pit error it said at odin
ahahahahahaha
but i manage to bring it up to life again lol
if anyone heres interested on making rom/kernel
i can be your tester.. ill be the one to take the risk
or can you teach me??

The P1010 nd P1000 are completely different (if I understood techno) right so don't follow those guides.

Please share how you tried flashing ROM using Odin.. because if none of the above doesn't work , as least PC Odin flash should work for sure..

Are you attaching PIT file?? If not try different version of Odin.. or a different ROM. it should work.

the same here, only download, odin stuck on nand write.

install the attached file with odin....
extract the file first you should get a tar file;....
flash it with odin in the PDA...
after completion...
remove battery for 30 seconds put battery in
hold home + vol up.... boot in recovery then try factory reset...

Ok Seems like you messed up your partition...
I attached new files
use the correct one based on your phone factory memory...
most likely its the 16GB but I include both just incase
Boot In Download Mode
Open Odin and load file in PIT
reboot...
Book Back in Download and load previous file I supplied
Reboot.....
the boot in recovery then Factory Reset......

Tnx for this. I was able to boot into recovery and did a Factory Reset. Weird, it took so long to format data.
I am now trying to flash my ROM. Hope it will work.

yes I do but am sure he already raised it before.... the chap is stuck, i'm guessing anything that works he will be happy with... he did have a custom rom before.... so that flag has been up long time...

Flash Abyss kernel and try it.. should be ok..
Just download abyss kernel and flash it via cwm and then use redpill recovery to do all your stuff.. it worked for me.. even data can be restored pretty easily.. or even backed up...

Hi xda, I have A sprint S4 flashed to Boost Mobile . I rooted (twrp) it using odin ,and I was trying to get the free Hot Spot . I was told to download two files to my sd card and rename them in the system file and them to copy and paste them in from my sd to the system file . When I tried to do that ( I did multi select ) only one file pasted but it didn't past in systems not sure where it went . I checked the sd and one was missing so I powered it off and replaced the one that was missing . When I started my phone up it froze on the yellow Sprint screen , I did some research and im not sure what I tried in odin but when it rebooted it's now stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Screen ! I tried odin to go back stock and I tried the unbrick methods and it keep failing . I've tried all the trouble shooting methods I could find .I tried factory reset , wipes and nothing worked for me .I also stop all Kies services from task manager, And when odin fails it says :

HELP...I cant flash back to N7000 rom....after flashing the chainfire repacked!

i have installed this chainfire repacked long time ago;

Then I tried to flash back the GB rom LA2, but it fails at the last stage....
What can I do........

You should not install the repack again. Try to install the GB rom using another method suggested by the following thread:

If this does not work you could flash abyss 4.2, get into its recovery and try to flash a GB rom.

Get into download mode then use PC odin to flash Abyss kernel. You can download the file from:

If you can flash this file you can get into recovery of abyss and flash a GB rom.

[Q] Galaxy Note N7000 Noob questions (I have done my research)

This has a happy ending even though it is a whopping 3 posts long lmao!
I would like to give Antiochasylum some recognition. His rom solely pulled this Galaxy Note out of a HardBrick! Thank you for providing this rom

I guess this info would also be good, The Yellow triangle shows at boot logo, as well as in Download mode the custom binary count is at 5
(Since I can't get the phone to boot into anything other than download mode and CWM the only thing I have tried is to ODIN param.tar) which gets me to the android with the weird wireframe hexagon looking thing and a load bar, then fails and spits me into CWM.
I have also tried download mode using PC ODIN 1.3, 1.87, and 3.95

So I have a Bricked Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
Here is what happened,
My friend tried downgrading from KingDroid, to a older version for stability.
anyhow when he was in CWM he tried wiping the cache and it got stuck at the logo screen.
When I went into CWM and tried to mount or unmount /system, /data, /emmc, /cache, It would tell me failure to mount all of them.... So after tinkering with it, I was able to get everything to mount and unmount, I flashed the newest abyss kernel.
Now I am able to preform a full wipe/factory reset. Wipe the cache. and everything works in CWM now as far as wiping stuff and mounting it (I was basically having the problem of the phone not recognizing /system or any of the rest).
The only thing I get to now is,
Installing: /sdcard/update.zip (This is the stock rom from sammobile or whatever the website is called, I also tried without renaming it to update.zip)
finding update package...
opening update package...
installing update...
installation aborted.
I have searched MANY MANY ways to get this thing back to life, and through various little fix's I was able to get it to where I can preform everything but recovery and flashing the rom apparently....
He made no recovery so, that is not an option.
I have also been looking for the stock kernel which I was unable to find, probably from my own stupidity, but this is where I need help. From the 100+ threads I have read about this issue with the note, I have tried damn near all of them, and got somethings that weren't working in CWM to work, like the format thing, now I am on to flashing. If someone has a link to the stock kernel that would help greatly, as for the stock rom I am using,
N7000XXLA4_N7000OXALA4_DBT.zip

I think it is safe to say there is no OS on this Note.
Now I know this phone is far from dead, I just need to know if anyone has had this same problem that has a fix that might work for this.... As I have said I have been through a hundred threads or so about bricked Notes, as well as I have tried threads that were not intended for bricked phones. I have been up for the past 3 days trying to figure this out. and have crashed my computer 2x from all of the threads I have had open in Google chrome.
I know this can be fixed, I just have to find the right one.... right Now I am at a loss.... I will keep updating this as I try new things until some one responds (Hopefully quickly). If you have any questions for me post them and I will do my best to provide good answers

Hey so I checked out that thread, which I used the PIT files that he had, then I stumbled on to Asylum ICS, used the kernel that worked for the ROM installed the rom and now I am back in business.... For some reason I still cannot flash a stock rom onto the phone but I really don't care at this point.
My friend realizes that he is damned lucky that Antiochasylum's rom flashed in the first place. I will edit my first post and put his name and a link to his rom in there for recognition, not because he intentionally provided a fix but because his rom solely pulled this Galaxy Note out of the graveyard...
I also want to thank you Baz77, for replying, because honestly if you hadn't I would have just given up. Your post is what lead me to search just a LITTLE bit more for a fix...
I would change the title to say solved, but 1 I don't know how to and 2 it was a lucky fix in the first place Thank you again for your reply, I like happy endings

i9305 flashing prob, need any rom in md5

Hi All
ATM I have a bootloop but can connect using Odin to flash.
I was on Nameless ROM
Having trouble finding ANY suitable roms in .md5.tar format
Any help would be great, dont wanna lose this little beauty

Would it be ok to ask a ROM DEV to make a version I could flash with Odin?

Just download stock rom from sammobile.com, extract the .zip then flash the .tar file with odin

Ok well everything was going great upto the last few seconds where Odin failed...
Message log was:

Tried repeating it but no joy.
Anyone got an idea where I go next?

Ok managed to flash Philz_touch and it looked like it's just a matter of choosing a rom on the sd card and installing just like CWM but all the roms fail saying something similar to......

Is there anything else I can do to get a rom on this device.
Try another ROM maybe?

What version of philz are you using? You need to be using one of the latest ones Cwm 6.0.4.4 at least. I only say this because status 7 error is normally because of an outdated recovery.
