I have unlocked the phone successfully and flashed the TWRP 2.7.1.1 image with partition mismatch error. However when I go into recovery, I get the NO COMMAND screen
Tried pressing the power and volume up, but no success.
Thanks
Update, pressing vol up for few seconds and pressing pwr btn once opens the recovery menu. But it is not the typical TWRP touch interface.
Superuser is not installing
It goes up to verifying zip and then Installation aborted message.
Any help on installing superuser will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello and thanks in advance.
I tried updating to Kitkat using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57158582&postcount=44.
It failed I used the "Reboot" function in TWRP. Now my cellphone won't turn on.
I tried to turn on using fastboot (vol- then power button) and it doesn't work. Then I tried soft-reset (vol- and power button) and it shows me the "Bootloader unlocked" message and then I can't do anything else.
Have I bricked my phone?
Thanks.
SOLVED. I am so sorry for posting, I was desperate. I kept trying to fastboot it until I somehow got it.
It seems that the failed restore deleted my boot partition, so pressing the power button did nothing. After I finally got around to recovery again, I could restore my backup and it's all good.
Hi,
I have installed twrp recovery on my phone (Moto titan). When I restart using power + vol down button I get a bootloader option which includes Normal startup , recovery , factory etc..
Selecting recovery from the bootloader options takes me to a blank screen and not into twrp recovery.
The only way I can manage to enter twrp recovery is by using "adb reboot recovery."
Any suggestion on how I can enter my twrp recovery directly using my phone key instead of adb.
+1 for me
Chances are you might have done something wrong while installing TWRP.
Try installing it again!
Hope it works. If it doesn't, reply!
Cheers!
EDIT
OK, I've found the Home + Vol Down + Power, then slide from Vol Dn to Vol Up trick. This takes me into TWRP proper, and I've done a Factory Reset. All is now well, except I'm still bloated.

I've installed TWRP 3.2.3-0 (eventually) and now I've got the famous "Verification failed" problem.
When I press "RESET" it boots into TWRP and runs an OpenRecoveryScript (bloody quickly) and then reboots to the "Verification error" screen.

I've got a TWRP backup, and there's no data on there anyway.
I'm on Linux so I've used Heimdall to flash TWRP.
***
Vol down & Power takes me to the "Verification failed" screen. Home, Vol down & Power does the same.
Any ideas how to progress? I only want to debloat the effin' thing.
TIA
After flashing TWRP in download mode, go straight to TWRP recovery, just unselect odin option autoreboot. The system might try to recover the original recovery. From TWRP recovery, flash custom ROM.
That's as far as I remembered, I owned tab S2 but not as main tablet any more.
Hi.
I am running stock 5.1. Phone is unlocked according to recovery - it states "unocked status 3". When I try to flash TWRP it does not stick. When I press volume down to choose reboot recovery it just turns off. When I try volume down and power to boot it comes back with an android on it's back saying no command.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
I sorted it.
I was pressing the power button instead of volume up when trying to choose boot recovery after twrp flash.
Flashed my Note 11 which was on Android 11 by twrp 3.6.1. When the install was done i rebooted and the phone reboots into twrp. What can i do next?
Edit: it now only boots into fastboot, regardless if i only press just the power button or the power button + volume down.
New attempts: the custom rom zip file on the phone is disappeared so i have to use ADB sideload to flash the rom by the pc. When the process is done i get the following error, see picture.
Did "format data" in twrp and it boots now normally.
