Imagine one Moto X 2014 upright.
If I press power button from top to middle I can power on and power off my Moto X easier. However if I press near bottom it hard to power on and power off (sometimes it worked cool and sometimes gets stuck, but only occurs at the bottom).
This happens with yours Moto X 2014? Is a defect?
I hard this phone for two weeks, but I realized this yesterday.
thank you!
I donĀ“t have this issue with my moto x. maybe yours has a defect.

I have my HTC One GPE only for ca. 3 months and somehow the power button starts to make some clicky noise when pressing and the resistance of the button is weaker and it seems I can turn on/off the phone just by slightly touching the button. The weird thing is it comes and goes and I don't know if it is just dirt that deposits between button and phone casing or if the "spring" below the button starts to wear off.
Has somebody the same problem?
Thanks,
Marco

I have a problem with my power button too. There is a clicking noise when I press down on the left side of power button but not on the right side. I cannot press the right side of power button without using force. I don't know if I should return my HTC One. I just bought it 2 weeks ago.
I would return it because you probably get a new one. I wait until it gets worse and will send it in for repair.

So today I recieved my motorola x developer edition. I noticed that the power button is really sensitive. I can barley tap on it and the display wil light up. The volume rockers on the other hand seem more natural like previous smartphones I have owned. They seem to work when I actually press them and feel the click. The power button can be tapped with no click and the screen turns on. I am a bit worried, is this normal? Do any of you have this on your moto x? or should i exchange it?
mine is working well

I was updating my Moto g2 from kitkat to the latest android version and during the installation, one of my friend hit the power button. Now the phone is totally dead. IT DOESN'T EVEN ENTER THE FASTBOOT MODE(power+vol down). Holding the power button for long time too is doing nothing. It also doesn't respond to charging and usb connect. Any suggestions?

Your phone has been hardbricked & sorry but there is no solution to it if ur not able to get to fastboot or recovery mode... i guess coz your friend intervened by pressing power button during installation it led to it... still show it to service centre or local repair shop for some hope..
