I left the phone over night like always and in the morning when I woke up there was no network... It recognize every sim card but it just won t register on any network. Any solution to this problem? Or my phone is for garbage? :crying:
Anyone any suggestions? I installed network signal info app and it shows that it has signal, but when I want to call someone it says not registered on network...
could be a problem with the sim card, ask your network to send you a new one & try that
Try to restart your phone. If this doesn´t help I think it´s a problem with your SIM-Card...

Hi:
I got my AT&T TILT last April unlocked and use it in USA with a foreign SIM using roaming, it works perfectly. I get back to my country and the phone worked fine.
Now, I returned to USA yesterday and when power up the phone got the phone searching for a network, it shows AT&T MY Service for a while but then it lost the connection. Since then, I can't find a network. I go to phone settings and press on FIND NETWORK but nothing happens. Is this a known issue?
Any idea what could be the problem ?
Thanks
sounds more like a sim card issue
if u didn't flash a new rom than the network problem might be att related.
if a soft reset doesn't solve ur problem than call att to get it fixed
Sorry for the late response.....
Appreciate both your help !!! I will check again in 1 week when
I visit USA again !!
Thanks
Hi. I just bought a new galaxy s from vodafone, but when i tried to use a 3g data connection it just won't work. it works fine with wi-fi connection but if i turn that off (or if i don't use it at all) the phone just won't connect to the internet. i've double checked the apn settings...is there an option to turn the data connection on and i'm just not seeing it? please help...
sometimes it helps to restart the phone
or switch it to airplane mode then back
Did that
i've read other posts for other type of connection problems and i did what u said...nothing...it just doesn't even try to connect...
do you have any other SIM card from friends/family that you can try?
just wondering if it's related to your SIM account, or if it's defective phone
if it is working over wifi there is still something wrong with apn settings or your sim card.. i doubt it is the phone itself.. or you are in an area with no 3g edge.. or wrong phone ie t mobile vibrant on bell or att network

Hi there,
today i experienced an annoying issue for the 2nd time.
In normal standy use, my phone seems to lose the connection to my provider (if thats wrong, i mean the institution i bought my contract/sim card from).
It really wont reconnect, even if im going to flight mode and back. Only rebooting helps me with this...
It's showing the forbidden-sign in the top left corner, asks me whether i want to find phone networks. I do search for them and i find mine, but clicking it wont help me neither. It shows that the phone cant connect to the network.
For now, only rebooting helped, and it immediately recognized my standard network.
I don't think that it has something to do with signal quality - i am in Frankfurt central at the moment and generally connections of providers seem to be very good in signal quality right here.
regards.
It may be a sim-card problem...try other sims (if available) and if the problem seems to disappear, ask your network provider to change your sim. Usually, on contract, changing the sim card should be free.
Hello guys,
I unlocked my Samsung Captivate by using the Galaxy S Unlock app from Helroz, but when I insert my T-mobile sim card, there is no signal. If I try to dial a number it says "Data network not available". One time after I rebooted it it had signal for about a minute and then the signal was lost. I used this sim card in another phone and have gotten at least 3 bars.
So if anyone knows what's wrong, PLEASE reply !!! (I spent hours looking for an answer but no luck)
Thank You
i had that issue, just reset the phone from settings>privacy
solves it.. (also make sure ur sim is in the right way )
Hello. About a 4 months ago i have bought from eBay a note 5 at&t version. I live in Greece and my network operator is WIND GR. The phone works fine but from time to time i get an emergency calls only message. And i can't get and do a phone call. If i restart the phone everything goes to normal. Sometimes it goes on and off by itself (the problem).
Have been anyone experiencing the same issue? If the phone is incompatible with my network operator should it not work at all?
Did you tried to change the sim card? Maybe issue is from sim or from sim slot

My sim is new. When i purchased the phone i have changed my old sim with a new sim 4g compatible.
It happened again. And i am missing calls like this. I will smash it with a hammer
Go to settings, backup and reset, then reset only network settings, see if any better signal

Done that right now. Tomorrow i will get a new sim card and i will post if anything gets better. Thanks for the help.
Update of the situation. I have changed sim card 2 times. It still happening. My phone runs at nougat now and the problem still appears as before at 5 and 6 Android version. I currently gonna change service provider that has better and stronger signal. From what i have discovered. When the phone looses signal due too poor service provider signal sometimes it can't register to network by itself. If i enable airplane mode and then turn it off it comes back. Any clue? If it's hardware issue what can i change?
Should i have at the mobile networks auto detect or manual and my carrier?
