If you are talking about the various sounds then do this.
On your /sdcard/ partition create these ...
Notifications
Alarms
Ringtones
You can then fill them with whatever you would like. You can visit zedge.net and grab so many ringers, alarms and notifications it'll make your head spin.

Here's another option for you :

A whole bunch of sounds that I have accumulated from others.

No, it's not flashable. Need to unzip and place manually in the proper folders located in :
/system/media/audio.
And this is a zip of the stock ui sounds :

GALAXY Nexus Audio Files (Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich) [Exacted]

Do you want to make your Android device sound like a GALAXY Nexus? Down below you have a zipped archive with the whole Audio directory pulled out from a GNex device with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The sound pack includes alarm, notifications, ringtones, messages and UI sounds. Use a PC/laptop with Windows and follow the instructions below:
1, Extract the zip file (it should be automatically renamed “audio.” If not, rename the folder “audio.”)
2, Place the “audio” folder in the “media” folder found on your device’s SD card. If there is no “media” file then create one.
3, Choose ringtones and notifications from your device’s settings and the new Ice Cream Sandwich sounds should show up under their respective names.
4, Enjoy!
To get the UI sounds working is a little bit trickier you need a rooted device and you also need to move the UI directory (if not renamed to UI do it manually) into /system directory. Use this path system > media > audio > ui.
awh, gotta register? and instead of posting links that lead to other sites, which also leads to another site, why dont you just put up a link yourself here? o.o oh well.

I am able to download just fine, without registering for anything
And thank you OP, great download!
There seems to be no audible selection, and the keyboard sound lags.
Couldn't get it working at 1st, reflashed my ROM and now have both my original sounds and new ones.
Do the sounds seem to play low for anyone?

Didn't work with NSCollab Sprint 1.0.51 rom. I placed the extracted folder in sd > media and the sounds aren't showing up. Reboot didn't give any different results.
Should I just paste this folder in system > media since I'm running a custom rom?

[APP][CAMERA] LGE Camera no AF Sound

Alright, I know you've been waiting for this one. This is the V20b ArcCamera that has an option to disable shutter sound... and now NO AUTO FOCUS sound too. Modified by yours truly.
This can be used with V20n (Tested). I just don't know if others can too (V20's).
No quality is lost, just a disabled Auto Focus sound... Enjoy!
Flash the zip in CWM, or extract and push the apk in system/app and set permission to 644 (rw-r-r).

can we switch it on and off when we want or is it permanently disabled? and how different is it from this .... sorry just wanna get a clearer picture =)
Whoops... what a late news for me. I guess it's the same.
This one came from V20b which has the option to disable shutter sound. Only AF is permanently disabled. That one (link) I guess is both disabled permanently as it cam from v20n that when deodexed losses the option to disable shutter sound.
Ahh ok ok was just trying to figure out the diff. Thanks dude!

The AF sounds (.ogg). both success and fail sound. Get an empty file and delete the original .ogg's. Then rename the empty file to the ones you deleted and put .ogg in the end. So when camera finds the sound it would be empty/no sound.
AFAIK, MIUI camera has options to mute sounds. I tried it and it was completely silent.

can you please make the v20s too? because the v20s camera is different. I'm using supressed 7.2 which is based on v20s..
I'm trying to edit ArcCamera.apk, using winzip, replace the .ogg files with empty file, but when pushing back the apk to system, the system cannot read that as an application.. trying to restart my launcher, the camera isn't there yet.. am I doing something wrong?

Beats Audio (b) icon MOD

Can somebody please give me APK file or a flashable zip file for the Beats Audio ICON mod.
I dont want to use the "beats audio installer" from the market.
I need a file that can be flashed over ARHD or any other SENSE 3.6 ROM.
and it shud only only a small Icon of Beats audio (b) when the headsets are plugged in.
I DONT need a Beats audio mod for the Sound enhancnement.
i KNOW its ALREADY available !
PS: for incredible s
I am building a new ROM for that purpose i need it
Hope you guys will help me.
Rom is based on latest build 4.0.4 !
Its very fast and smooth (as i have removed many apps and also made a flashable file that can be flashed over if u need those apps like drop box, flicker, youtube, facebook etc)
Size of the ROM is incredibly reduced, I have added Beats Audio Mod. but i dont have that Icon to be placed. SO help me guys
please check the attachment !
A way you could do it is by replacing the headphones icon in the status bar.
To do this decompile framework-res.apk (it might have been systemui.apk, I can't remember) and navigate to the drawable-hdpi folder, and then swap the headphones connected image with the image of the beats icon. I can't remember exact details but its pretty straight forward to find the icon you want. Hard part is opening up the apk

[MOD][AROMA] Universal Rom File Customizer V5

This is a ROM FILE/MEDIA FILE CUSTOMIZER
This has been tested working with the Jan 08 build of AOKP and Latest EuroSkank CM10.1 Builds I used fireb33 stock build for the basis of the stock zip
THIS MOD WILL WORK FOR ANY DEVICE
as it is ROM dependent not DEVICE dependent
AROMA ROM FILE CUSTOMIZER V5(AOKP & CM10.1 & Stock)
V5 - fixed when you skip the rom debloat error and fixed MusicFX app deletion
This mod will allow you to
-remove ANY or ALL commonly removed system apps from your rom
-remove ANY or ALL Alarms, Ringtones sounds, and Notification Sounds!
-remove all live wallpapers (Located in the System app removal section)
-insert whatever sound media file you wish to be inserted into the relevant locations of the rom (Notifications, Alarms or Ringtones)
-Add your own bootanimation zip into the rom by deleting the old bootanimation.zip and inserting your custom bootanimation.zip
-Remove unused Text to Speech languages that you dont require
-Remove the sample videos
-Add system apps and fix their permissions
-Ability to add user apps and fix their permissions
HOW TO USE THE ROM CUSTOMIZER
If you want to add a particular media file (Notification, Ringtone, Alarm Sound) or Bootanimation to your ROM
- Open ROM CUSTOMIZER in winzip/winrar
- Place your particular sound media file (mp3,ogg, etc) into the relevant folder in the zip
- Place your particular bootanimation zip into the bootanimation folder
- Place your particular system or data app into the relevant folder
-Close the ROM CUSTOMIZER zip
-Transfer ROM CUSTOMIZER zip to your phone and reboot to recovery
Now to the Customizing part
- While in your recovery flash the file, aroma installer will begin
- Follow the aroma installer and choose the relevant boxes
- REBOOT & WIN
This mod does NOT require you to have a clean install of your ROM before using this mod IF your only inserting/deleting MEDIA or BOOTANIMATION.
However IF your are wanting to DELETE SYSTEM APPS it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that this mod is flashed after a full wipe otherwise you MOST LIKELY will get a BOOTLOOP or multiple FORCE CLOSES
For the future builds!
Fix the Blue tint in aroma
Add some more functions!
let me know how this mod goes for your
and swing me a thanks if this helps you out
ENJOY! =]

I thought I'd mention SystemApp Remover for folks looking to just remove specific apps they don't need. I find it very useful in selectively debloating every time I flash a new ROM.

currently in the process of making an AOKP aroma version similar to this i imagine. that can remove various system apps, whatever ringtones, alarms, notification sounds... and if you choose it can also insert your own ringtones, alarms, notification sounds into the correct locations in the rom in one go.. currently have one simple version that will do the same as custom v0.3c except it wont let manual checking of system/notifications/alarms/ringtones as yet << mainly because I only taught myself how to work with aroma installer this morning
Good work my friend.... Keep it up! Nexus 4 is next on my list of phones to get

Fixed up alot of code in aroma-config and updater-script to make it WAY easier to add features in the future.
Fixed the way the mod handles deleting files from the ROM to make deletions/debloating easier.
Fixed the way the mod manages pushing files to the phone for a quicker process
Fixed and added some icons
Added the ability to push system apps & fix their permissions
Added warning to let user know of their ROM choice before proceeding further
Added the ability to exit the installation on menus screen
I have a small question, the first post mentions this is ROM independent, then why are the updates for certain roms only at times.
is it because of the way they are built or something else.
I know it's a n00b question but just curious.
Great job by the way.
educate me please
thanks a lot trying

The first releases were independent as I could only make each line of code for the ring tones, alarms, notifications and system apps when I went through the rom. Then I released and started work on the next rom and so forth. Once I had finished each rom individually I then taught myself how to code for aroma. Then added each rom and had to rewrite a lot of the earlier scripts to be compatible with aroma then I took the same approach made an aroma zip for each rom then had to work out a way to merge all 3. I then managed to do that and that was my main goal to have a zip that is easy to understand, not just a script that wipes everything but gives you choice and I now have the ability to add features that will apply to all 3 rom so far without needing to worry about compiling each zip individually. Hope this explains it

alright im starting to lose ideas.... anyone who has tried the mod had any problems? or have any suggestions for things they would like to do easily via the recovery?
Sorry if i am in the wrong thread...
Is there anybody know this? Or is there anybody know where to ask this question?
in .zip file (for CWM) there is an updater-script file...
I want to delete some files but i dont want to write the exact names of the files... Is there any way to delete some thing like x*.* or t*.apk or talk*.* etc...
for example if i want to delete all the files which starts with "a" letter... How can i do this?
I know
delete("...");
delete_recursive("...");
commands... But i couldn't find out if there is any way to do this?
Thank you for your answers...
You cant delete stuff using wildcards as far as i know.. That would have made my mod a thousand times easier to write up lol

An updater script only has a specific set of instructions that can be run.. see here http://www.freeyourandroid.com/guide/introdution_to_edify
This then is also determined by the update binary (the other file in the same location as the updater-script) - for better set of instructions you should extract one of them from a rom that is made for our nexus
In theory if you set it up you may be able to set something with the ifelse command in an updater-script OR if your good with other types of code you may get what you require using an external .sh to which the updater-script only "runs" which may allow for what you want to do. however i feel personally that it will take a fair while setting up a lot of parameters, etc becasue you will need to make sure you not deleting the wrong apk or file. If you stick to the fundamentals of an updater-script you can easily achieve what you want all you need to know is the name of the apk etc.. and with base roms these apk names will not change so it shouldn't be too much of an issue
Then if you work with AROMA there is a different set of instructions for how stuff needs to be setup for the aroma side, then the updater script needs to be a bit more modified from just a stock updater-script to run from how the aroma code makes output prop files, etc
Thats about the best i got.. other than that you will have to research these other possibilities up or make them up yourself and test until they work.

[Q] harmony.ogg ringtone

Could someone from stock rom extract the "Harmony.ogg" ringtone from their Atrix HD? I like that ringtone. Thanks :cyclops:
Hey.
Tried to find that ringtone for a while then realized you might be referring to stock AT&T.
I'm using MR.
Nevertheless. I made a folder of all the ringtones.
http://db.tt/EfcyzCb4
Thanks Mister_Simon for the folder, it doesn't contain the "harmony.ogg" but i think there is a ringtone in there i will use in the meanwhile..and Yes I was referring to the AT&T stock rom. I'm not sure, but I think that's the only rom that contains the "Harmony.ogg" ringtone. I had extracted it from the system folder before I had switched to a custom rom, (because I don't really much like the ringtones custom roms have) but accidentally deleted it. I didn't want to go back to stock just to get the ringtone so if someone is still on stock att motorola atrix hd rom and can spare some time to extract it and send it. That'd be very nice.
edit: don't forget!!... Before ya'll flash from stock to custom rom... extract the ringtone! D: ..thanks
Here we go...
