Screen glass protector - G2 Accessories

Is there any screen glass protector in Ebay that don't make the "Halo" effect on side edges?.
I'd like to have some links.
Thanks in advance.

Interesting. I want to know too

Most of them don't fit. It's been really hard to find one that fits.

I have one Nillkin very thin, it's unbelievable good, I tried to scratch it with my Swedish knife and no way I could
The "halo" effect is just advertisement bro, mine at least don't have this effect but I would enjoy to own a TRON glass protector.

I have the Nillkin Glass Screen protector and sometimes the touch dont responde, but...that´s normal, my girlfriend have a LG L90 and the Nillkin Glass Screen protector and sometimes happens the same

Realook screen protector

These are a breese to apply and you can't tell that its on the phone. No discoloration or image distortion and has the same feel as the unprotected screen. Just wanted to share with everyone. A good backup for those of us who prefer to run without a screen protector.
Here's the link.

I was thinkin about pickin up one of these. How does it do with fingerprints and smudges?
Does about the same as the unprotected screen. Plus, I feel safer about cleaning the screen off with my shirt tail or my pant leg if I need to.

how would you compare it to a zagg invisishield? I always thought that they made the best protectors, but you can really tell the screen is much clearer without it.
---------- Post added at 10:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01 PM ----------
And...do you think they will protect as well as the zagg? I've had one on a phone for over a year and took it off, the screen had no scratches!
I like it alot better than zagg cause it still has the feel of the glass. With that said, it probably won't protect as well as zagg, but it shoud do the job just fine.

Hmm is have both realook and the zagg coming so ill check it out. I bought the zagg and then read all the reviews of the realook and bought it. I have dropped phones before and accidently have done things to scratch screens but all the phones I had with zagg came out okay. I guess ill just use the realook and see if it holds up. It makes me think that they don't hold up as long since they give you two!

I think I'm going to give this a whirl. I love clearplex but it does leave prints. Feels exactly like glass though. I'm up to try new things though. Thanks for the suggestion!

My SGP Ultra Crystal arrived today, and it is going on as soon as I get home. I had a Zagg HD on for a few days just because I had to wait for the SGP to arrive, and I got the Zagg for $6, so no big deal. The Zagg was destroyed by the SPen. "Self Healing" my a$$.

The Ultra Optics is one of the softest screen protectors you can get from Spigen. Plus, it's matte. I would recommend the ultra crystal for clarity and to fight the s-pen scratches.

srry for the late reply. But, I meant it left fingerprints. It is awesome for using the S pen on.

UPDATE: Zagg HD for 2 days... beat up by S-Pen. SGP Ultra Crystal for over a week now... not a single scratch, or mark. I would have just gone with SGP from the get go, as I have used them for a few years and LOVE their protectors, but it wasn't available right away for the Note 2. Glad I have it on their now.

Thoughts about bumper...

Hello everyone
I have my note protected with incase but I am thinking about bumper...
I guess that I will buy only a good quality from a known brand.
Any ideas or experience from someone?
Thanks

I personally don't think bumpers are great protection, so I don't have a recommendation for ya. But this forum has a bunch of bumper reviews, and you should start with the Draco. There's a review thread a few down from this and it seems to be popular and expensive (= quality?)

Do you have an Incase brand case? If yes, where did you get it? Incase doesn't make anything for the Note 2, but I wish they did.

I use an androidified tpu case covers the back and the sides. Without adding bulk.
Its fine for me but it is minimal protection.

In general I don't like bumpers: they modify the Note 2 aspect without a great protection, and also the large dimension of the Note with a bumper becomes unfit for an usage with one hand; only extra thin bumpers doesn't stop this usage.
I prefer a booklet cover. With one of it you can protect all the Note 2 and when you are outside you can see your smartphone with a landscape visual.
Bye.
Bumpers are SOOOO the way to go. The keep this giant phone as slim as possible, look great, and seem just as protective as any other case, except for perhaps scratches on the back plate, for which I have a film to cover. Plus if you use a wireless charging pad, as I do, they are mandatory. I have a Walnutt brand bumper (very nice, ebay) which I paid $30 for, but then found an equivalent product for like $3 shipped. I'll see if I can find the email and past the link.

Which Tempered Glass for A7000 is best???

Hey guys,
Which tempered glass do you use for your A7000 or can you suggest me a good one...?
Thank you
which you buy.
All are good......make sure the one u are buying is edges are curved and not pointed....... Also keep one thing in mind..... A tempered glass will heat up your device at all times even when u are doing some small petty thing.... Like chatting

I bought one from Pudini. Given the price (around 500 INR) it just sucks. It is a fingerprint magnet although it says anti fingerprint. I tell just go for a normal tempered glass available in local stores. It does the job. And almost all the tempered glass today comes with 8H-9H hardness.

Which one of the three was the "best", in your opinion? Really can't handle going without bur the original is extremely poor, responsiveness-wise

Tried today the one from Orzly, very good quality, it's perfect
I don't know man. I've only ever owned one tempered glass screen protector. It was the original OnePlus 3D one. And i HATED it. I can't stand compromising on how an actual screen feels to the touch. I would just get a bumper case with a good protrusion over the screen so the screen doesn't touch the table when i set the phone down.

I don't think so only the sides
I tried IVSO one - garbage. Expected better quality since it's not curved, but covers actual screen. However, it doesn't adhere on the edges. I tried another one from the pack - adhesive was missing in some spots in the center.

It does have adhesive in the whole screen just like the official one. It's very good, not dot matrix, no rainbow effect... I installed yesterday and I'm very happy with it.

I wasn't sure because I had rainbow effect one the sides which made me think it might have adhesive just on the sides but rainbow effect went away next day. Everything looks great except for the black bars on the sides and dust seems to be stuck on the top cut outs

I didn't put the official one just these therefore I can't comment. I'm using official case with the glass protector no problem so far
with all TGSPs there is dirt around the edges. the best is the protection placed on it or buy a clear film like iqshield, nillkin, invisible shield etc...
Installed Ultimate Shield tempered glass today to my 5T and feels good!
+1 for Orzly
It's full adhesive and lays down perfectly. No dot matrix, haven't noticed any sensitivity issues.
It does cut a bit off but less than a millimeter. Not really to the point where it's bothersome (IMO).
Edit: the cut off is really noticable in termux. But most apps should have a bit of padding on the sides (per Android design guidelines).
I just removed my Orzy, going naked. The side masking is 1/16" narrower than the 5t masking, so text is cut off (especially if you're off center a bit).
Just Installed Nillkin temperglass on my device.
I've been using Nillkin for past few years and it's working great.
It's not full cover but no rainbow effect, dot matrix (I preferred to have clear screen)
At first I install and have some halo effect around the edge but right now I've solved this issue.
Nillkin is still the best option for me
