So the problem is whatsapp turned grey in the start screen for no reason, as it's been working the whole day. I've tried restarting a couple of times, but no success so far. Any ideas how to solve it?
Try to start it from the Apps screen not ur HS. If that also cannot be done, uninstall it, then reinstall it again.

im just wondering if you guys experience their tilt freezing after installing the blackberry connect through the oem programs/setting.
everything went fine on/before installing the device. it prompt me that once its done installing, clicking ok would restart the phone. the phone restarted all through the windows screen saver screen. it would not move for a long time. it stays on the screen.
at this point i was piss because i couldnt make a phone call or anything. luckily i got a phone call but i cannot pick up the call at all. it rang but thats it. i tried restarting the phone by soft reset or taking the batt off. it still didnt work.
any input would be helpful.
thanks.
Had the same issue. Had to do a Hard reset and start over.
Left BB connect off for now.
I only saw that happen when I installed it on my storage card instead of the actual device.
i installed it in my storage device.
notrhj: how can i hard reset the phone? i tried other things.. is it possible to walk me through this.
i cant access anything on my desktop. its freezes especially after someone calls.. grrr no text.. nothing.
i fix the problem..
thanks.
every time i try to open my market app, it closes within 2 seconds. it doesn't even fully load before it closes. also, it doesn't FORCE close, it just takes me back to wherever i was when i tried to launch it.
does anyone know why it might do that and/or how to fix it?
i got a new G1 today and i rooted it, installed Cyan, & installed the community hero theme. it was working about two hours ago, and now it wont open. i'm thinking i should reflash my theme or cyanogen, but it's time consuming & i just don't wanna go through re-doing settings again.
anyway, here is a Screen of my system info, if this helps.
I'm assuming you already tried restarting it? If not try that, I know sometimes I wasn't able to download things they would just sit in the drawer until I restarted.
So google now is in beta and i have it installed on insert coin rom. Seems like i go to make a phone call and google now comes on in the middle of the call all the time now. I tried uninstalling it..but that causes other problems like error messages every time i turn the phone on. Has anyone else had this problem with Google now and how did you resolve it. thanks
Just watched some movie via mx player and after couple mins phone just froze and restarted, that happened twice, anyone experienced same thing, i dont know is it a software problem or hardware? any suggestions or help
Facing a different kind of rebooting issue
Hi guys.... I've got the Z3C on 23rd Oct & since past few days I'm facing a weird rebooting problem. Whenever I receive a whatsapp message & the notification tone rings, or like something on facebook & the phone sounds the facebook pop, the phone suddenly reboots halfway through the notification tone or the pop & after it's rebooted, the 'mobile data is disabled' message appears in my notification. It's happened quite a few times now & I'm worried. The message appears if I manually reboot the phone too. I initially believed some bad process from whatsapp's causing this so I tried uninstalling it, but even after doing that & rebooting in safe mode the phone, the problem persists. PLEASE HELP :crying::crying:
reboots about every 10 mins

Mine has started to reboot about every 10 mins. Support said to use sony pc companion to run repair/update which removes all personal settings and reinstalls the software it is fairly drastic. I have done this twice now and the only app configured is gmail and fac book after about 2 hours it starts to reboot again every 10 mins

Use a different decoder. Switch between S/W and H/W or H/W+.
I did that. For now it's ok

I had the same problem of random reboots. used PC companion. the frequency of reboots decreased but still present. was asked by sony repair center to send them the phone.
They will try to repair it or replace with a new cellphone. Its only been 7 days since I got the phone.
