Does anyone have a 'tested' solution for the XDA/SX56? I've seen the cutting solution as well as a Ghost SIM C solution posted, but has anyone had any success with these or other solutions?
If posting an answer, please show features, pros, and cons.
For instance, the cutting solution
-Features: Power cycle to switch between cards
-Pros: Fits two sims into a one sim device
-Cons: Only supports two sims, not all sims can be cut, cutting sims can possible damage card.
Thanks,

Update 01/08/04 - Mobileplace.co.uk is examining solutions and will notify me of a solution, if it exists, at the end of this month.
Hi, cant offer you a solution as yet but I too have e-mailled Mobileplace.co.uk and sent them images of the sim slot for the XDA, they inform me they currently have no product with which to enable dual sims. They too have advised me that they will contact me if a solution is available.
my diamod does not read sim...[/B]

Hi,
I put a nano sim adapter into my brand new razr I, and when I removed it, it got caught on 2 of the pins, and pulled them out the sim card slot. The phone will no longer read a sim card.
I also imported my phone overseas (South Africa) and bought it off ebay.
1) Is there a way to get this phone fixed? They don't sell the Razr I in my country (hence why I needed to import it). Is there maybe a similar phone that shares a sim card holder?
2) Can just the sim card slot be replaced or does a whole part of the phone need replacing?
Thanks for the help!
same problem
hi1 i have the same problem, you can fix you phone? how you do ?
Hi guys.
It ´s highly possible, that the SIM slot is similar or identic to other phones slots. So If you find some good mobile phone service, They really can look at it and maybe change for new one for lets say from $20 to $50 including work... You just have to try....
Hi all,
I seem to have broken a pin contact of the SIM slot using an adapter.
Does anyone know where to find a replacement part?
Tks in advance
Hey everyone, apologies if this has been answered but I couldnt find a clear cut explanation from searching.
I have the single sim varient of the phone and I'm aware that its possible to place a second sim via an external cable.
I was wondering if something like this would work for a single sim variant?
It's a product from Simore and its a dual sim hybrid that allows the use of two sim cards and the micro sd card.
It mentions that its made for dual sim but could someone explain to me why it wouldnt work with my model?
Asking before I make the purchase.
Thanks for all your help
