I unlocked my device (moto g2 dual sim xt1068) , rooted , installed TeamWin Recovery , made a backup of stock and wiped everything (cache, dalvik, system, data, internal storage)
Then flashed
[TITAN][5.1.1] Cyanogenmod 12.1 [UNIFIED]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2993932
& Gapps
It booted but all I got was " Unfortunately, System UI has stopped "
I went back to stock and tried again and again with Gapps , without Gapps , with everything wiped and without wiping any thing
What should I do to use this ROM ?
Notice :-
I tried that with Nightly builds 20150513 and 20150514
have you try the rom without gapps?
if works you have a gapp problem.
try others rom and or gapp combinations.
i use this and is flawless.

Your problem is most probably because of gapps . Use different gapps I have never got such problem. I use minimal gapps .! best of luck!:good:
I tried installing without Gapps..... And tired installing with Gapps
Both gives systemUI FC
.
.
I TRIED DIFFERENT Rom (TeamUB) AND it works perfectly
Maybe this problem with cm12.1 is because I use dual sim version of moto G2 or it supports dual sim?

I had this problem too. Flash a different CM build. There was a bad build that made this problem. I believe it was the May 16th one. (I may be wrong)

It works perfectly with the XT 1068, you must download the latest cm build, because are better than the previous ones.
the problem was solved after flashing the latest build
Thanks everyone

Hi
I'm trying to install Kitkat 4.4 with Maclaws cm11. Also tried the carbon rom. All seems to work fine until I flash G apps. Then I get random reboots shortly after boot. Tried both micro and aroma Gapps from Mclaw. Am I alone with this problem? Any suggestions?
I'm using CWM for flashing and wrong cache etc. Baseband I8190XXANA2 in stock 4.1.2 (rooted) which works fine.
After more research it seems like reboots happens also without Gapps. Also happening in 4.3. There was recently a firmware update early this week. Maybe something has changed, breaking custom ROMs.

Bud,
If you're on stock just do that:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Choose Wipe data/factory reset
3-Flash cm rom
4-Flash gapps
5-Reboot
Done, that's it. Not complicate.
If you want to update cm roms:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Flash cm update
3-Choose Wipe cache & dalvik cache
4-Reboot
Done.
You don't need to mess up with anything more. Read my FAQ here for gapps & for more doubts. Have fun
thanks...

Thanks for the advice. I've read the faq's and followed that, but the problem is that my phone just reboots randomly a minute or so after it's booted up. Was suspecting this to be the latest firmware update, but if so the forum would probably been flooded with more with the same problem.
It might be my battery, which is bad. Just got a new one. Charging it now, and will try CM11 again tomorrow. If it still reboots I'll see if I'm able to access the logs to get an idea of whats going on. It works fine on stock, so I'm a bit puzzled... .
Solved
...and after changing battery CM11 runs smooth without reboots .
The reboots happened with the original charger plugged in. Why that didn't happen to the stock ROM I can't explain.
The original Samsung battery scares me a bit. It has become 1-2 mm thicker. Looks like an accident waiting to happen. Have to dispose of safely somehow...quick...
Hey everyone,
I found an Official update for my device from CyanogenMod Download Site.
I search any forum if available here about this ROM, unfortunately i cannot be able to find any form related to this ROM. Then i download 5.1 Gapps and download the ROM CyanogenMod 12.1. i wipe dalvik , userdata , cache and system. then flash both of the zip files ive downloaded. As i was using 12.0 Cyanogen i dont think i need to flash Cyanogen snapshot as it require for 12.0 to solve the BootLop. After flashing my phone is stuck on the booting animation since 20-25mins then i force reboot my phone into Recovery then i flash the SNAPSHOT and then reboot for once it works fine for me, then i just flash 12.1 and L gapps on the phone and then reboot, unforunately im facing the same problem from last hour. I dont know how to make 12.2 Cyan to work on my phone wihtout bootlop.
If anyone knows how to remove the bootlop then please let me know, thanks

Hmmm...I was on CM12 and wiped everything (cache, dalvik cache, system, data) so I clean flashed CM12.1 and GApps 5.1, after 2-3 mins it booted ok. So I guess flashing CM11 first is not needed. Just try again idk...:/
My TWRP version is 2.8.4 and i tried to flash cm roms but they either fail or can't stream videos. Help pls I will provide any information about my phone. Right now I'm running titanrom 5.0.2 on my phone and it works fine but I wanna upgrade to 5.1.

I will give u a step by step procedure
1. Update you're twrp
2. Download the official cm 12.1 nightly
3. Copy the nightly zip to you're external SD card
4. One main thing u should update you're boot loader as you're saying that you are on stock moto 5.0.2 then your boot loader should be up to date
5. Now make a back up of current ROM
6. Wipe internal , external , dalvik cache , cache
7. Now flash the ROM and gapps and gapps I suggest u to use cm gapps
8. Wipe dalvik cache , cache
9. Reboot your device
If u face any issue after following this procedure also then you re boot to recovery and wipe both the caches

Hello guys! How are you?
I'm having some bugs with CyanogenMod 12.1 in my MotoG and haven't found nothing that could help me with my problem.
Well, here's the story:
My device had Android KitKat 4.4 as the stock rom and I updated it to Lollipop 5.0 before rooting.
Well, I unlocked the bootloader and used TWRP as a custom recovery and installed SuperSU.
I've been using the phone about almost 8 months after rooting and then, Motorola released an update, I tried to update it via OTA and, of course, it didn't worked since TWRP can't OTA. Nothing changed in my phone, I simply rebooted it and it worked but since a few days some apps started to suddenly close and/or stop.
I decided to install CyanogenMod 12.1, downloaded the latest nightly and a stock package of GApps and flashed them via TWRP.
Wiped Dalvik Cache, Data, Cache and System
At the first attempt, TWRP rebooted after flashing CM12.1 and I wiped the caches via WIPE menu before flashing GApps wich couldn't be installed because there was "no space in storage". Well, I booted my phone normally (running cm12) and downloaded a Micro GApps package and flashed it sucessfully.
Problem is: Clock stops working (it has stopped for now), I can't install some apps from PlayStore such as Facebook, etc and my phone appears to be unrooted.
I think my TWRP is bugged or something cause it does not works as tutorials, etc tells...It shows some errors and sometimes reboots itself after flashing some file.
Do you guys think I should reset everything and then redo all the steps to use CyanogenMod properly? I really liked this custom rom but I'm afraid there will be more bugs in the future....
Anyone?
my solution..
1. (JUST SAYING)You can install ota through fastboot. Use the ota file found in root.( There is a thread for this)
2. Try installing Lucas 2.8.7.0 build. Find it in his thread. Its posted there. It's somewhere in the sea of posts just find it.
3. Then try to clean flash cm 11 build. Then install cm 12.1 build.
4. See if it works.
I don't understand why you face this problem cause well TWRP is very stable.
Well see if it works and get back to me.
Edit :
Saved you some trouble here's the link for TWRP
Link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0WGdtNWubBJVlctNE5PZ1oyQ00/view?pli=1
Its labelled as 2.8.7.0 but its actually 6.0 features of 7.0.

This is exactly what you should do.
There are several things that don't work as they supposed to do, so follow the steps @sagar846 mentioned.

Using TWRP
clean flash cm 13 ( wipe everything except internal storage and ext SD) and flash zip and gapps , wipe dalvik and cache and reboot .
Its got to work since there is no problem at all with any ROM or gapps.
If that doesn't work restore to stock and start the process again (root and stuff)
