Nobody knows if is possible build an app to sync LG with WP 8.1?
You can not do much with Windows 8.1 phone,

Maybe Google will open Windows devices to Android Wear but there is nothing yet that I know of.

I miss the easy sync method of it I guess the workaround is to use Windows Media Player?.
Pleas delete my phone didn't automatically install Windows Phone Application.
You should be able to use Zune outside of windows 8.
If you have windows 8, the sync should happen automatically.
Not possible as of now. I really miss it since it was so convenient for music. Drag and drop is nice and all but for managing music it's just crappy.
The only decent solution for W7 is the media player and for W8 the WP8 Sync app from the store.
The desktop tools are just really really bad.

No, the windows 8 store.

You need the windows 8 store not the nokia store.
On device? I have Windows 8 on the pc and cannot find it in the store. I am not picking up my Nokia 920 until next week but I would like to know where in heck this sync app is located. Read me: searched in Windows 8 store on pc; " no match for WP 8 Sync", searched apps on Windows Phone website; brings up some unrelated app. Can anybody post a link? Thanks in advance.
P.S. Did a search from home page. The app in Windows Store is simply called Windows Phone in case anybody else was as confused as I was.
Follow this link. If you view it on a windows 8 pc than you should be able to download it, not too sure since I got mine directly from the store and had no trouble finding it.

Search for Windows Phone. there is also a desktop app you can get from windowsphone.com.

Just got a new update for my Ativ S, that displays the OS as the Windows Phone 8.1 UPDATE, a higher os version, apps corner(lets you choose the apps you want someone else to use on your phone-something in between kid's corner and separate user profiles on your phone), accessories apps(you can pair wearables with your phone and get apps that can give you notifications) and also the possibility to merge apps on to folders on your start screen. Cool
has anyone else got this update? is it the official, or is it still DP?

Same here. I tried installing Samsung Notes from Microsoft Store, says it's not compatible in my device. I'm using Asus ROG laptop.
Looking for ways to sync my written notes to PC aside from using Evernote.
Its really is an oversight from Samsung going from S-note til Samsung Notes without any sync between a PC / computer
I would suggest better to use OneNote by Microsoft for seamless use of Handwritten notes on both your Note device and Windows Computer.

Maybe JOPLIN ?. I use it and synchronize notes between Note 9, and a Windows computer. It seems to me OK
Original S-Note from Samsung galaxy store... Was a much more versatile app...
Also available on the Microsoft app store for Win 10...
Samsung Notes is a newer but less easy to use Version of S-Note. Must be why Samsung saw fit to put S-Note back on the galaxy App Store...

Here is a tutorial to retrieve the installation file from any app from the W10 store. https://www.maketecheasier.com/download-appx-files-from-windows-store/
If someone with the ability to download it (I guess someone with a Samsung laptop?) does it, we should be able to sideload the app on our own.
Now we just have to wait for one with a Samsung PS - anyone? (Thanks)

I just went there and I could download it without having to hit the button a few times. I have a Asus laptop so I am guessing Samsung finally opened it up to all?
I wasn't able to download it on a HP & a Lenovo laptop citing the same "non-compatible" glitch . Now I can without hitting twice from the MS store.

Contact the developer for an update or downgrade your phone to Android 9. If the function depends on the app, you have no more options.
