Hello friends, I need help with a problem that occurred to me to use the command '' fastboot erase all '' by ADB in my XT1069, the phone's IMEI lies '' 0 '' in the two SIM cards ...
It turns out that even with the reset IMEI, I can make calls, send SMS messages and access the 3G data network, ADB, typing the command '' fastboot getvar IMEI '', the IMEI is not 0 is the original IMEI of the phone ...
I've tried changing ROM, ROM flashing Stock 5.0.2 and nothing ... any suggestions of what to do?
(Sorry for my bad English )
I guess you erased pds. You can't go back at this point XD
And now, friend? What can I do?
Well you still have a phone, I guess you don't need to "fix it"
You're right, friend ... But there's a time when the network signal is very fluctuated at first thought it would be problems telephone company but before the "fastboot erase all", the signal was strong in most of my city today is between 1 ~ 2 points and the "No Service" and I'm linking this issue to this IMEI ...I do not know if my association with problem with signal and the IMEI is correct, but for me, it makes sense if you know a way to fix this without even "fix the IMEI" I would be very grateful
I Have the same problem, my IMEI is 0, I have backup PDS in TWRP most do not know what to do, my phone has only signal in WCDMA mode, GSM mode no have signal Please Help me :crying::crying::crying::crying:

This is some unique problem i have got.
Whenever i put in any sim from Network A (tata docomo, india) i dont get signal.....it says network unavailable.
But if i put the same sims in another phone i get signal (so obviously not network fault).
I get signal if i insert sim of any other network other than network A.
This happened when i was changing roms (was on v28g then went to stock froyo and then to stock GB without prob). I tried reflashing roms, changing BB/RIL NVflash, smart flash...but no help...I dont know what the problem is...please help me, This problem is only for one particular network provider.... Currently on CM10 fixed by marsgod, with wifi fix by beenee, with default RIL with su660 30c BB.
EDITED: My IMEI or SIM are not blocked by network....saw it with my own eyes at customer centre...
Please help....
it seems my imei number somehow got changed....i solved it by restoring my original imei number by this method...too bad i cant thank myself!!
MODS PLEASE TRASH THIS IF REQUIRED
Here is for custum ROMS
Changing IMEI on engineering sample
1. install Better Cut 3.3.apk
2. Connect phone by USB
3. Select Port Settings -> Select CP USB from Better Cut Widgets
4. Start hyperterminal, in COM settings select same port like in devide manager -> LGE mobile USB Serial Port, 115200
5. Type AT if response is not OK, change port number
6. Type at%imei, it should display your current IMEI
7. Type at%imei=x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x , where x,x,x... is your orginal IMEI number
8. Reset
Hello everybody,
I just installed a new rom and I booted my phone and it gave me this message: A problem was detected with your device. Your device IMEI number is invalid. An invalid IMEI number could cause network issues including the inability to call emergency numbers.
Does anybody know how to restore my IMEI?
Thanks in advance
Rick
first thing always provide more detail stuuf like what you did...which rom, version so some ones can help you quickly
are you able to connect to network if yes then don't think you need to worry.
if you're are not able typo connect to network then try flashing different modems and even that not solve your offside them go back to gb and then flash the rom after rooting

Hey guys,
I installed S3-Evolution-Beta-3.1 in my SGA a week before and just 2 days back, I found the strange problem that even if my phone had a SIM card in it, My phone was saying "No Network". First I thought, I was in the No Reception area, and ignored it. I restarted my phone, did the couple of tricks of restoring the Nandroid Back up etc. ***Nothing Worked*** to resolve the "No Service" problem.
I just flashed the DDKQ8 firmware through Odin, and the problem still continues.
Just a couple of hours back I observed that there is NO IMEI number in the settings. I tried going into the service mode and tried turn off the FTM and choose proper network bands. But nothing worked.
Now I am getting worried, Please help me out.
PS: I knew this kind of problem, and have the original IMEI number with me.
Please help!
So there isn't any possible solution?
Dial *#06#
If you can't get you IMEI number, I'm sorry but you've bricked your device, go to support service if you' ve your warranty available

I realized fastboot erase all partitions and installed the rom XT1098 , after that the phone only shows that my imei is 0 and is no network, only have signal in WCDMA mode, the mobile phone is possible to work on WCDMA without IMEI ? I realized that after all I've done my baseband has changed and I can not make it back to baseband version that was ... I got back up the PDS and the TWRP already restored a custom rom with backup the PDS and IMEI yet 0 ... I wanted my phone working in normal GSM :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
already put the correct rom , I went back to 4.4.4 , updated to lolipop and nothing IMEI 0 and Baseband always different
My Baseband was msm8626bp_1032.3105.93.00R dstv_cust
the Current is msm8626bp_1032.3105.93.00y dstv_cust
I do not know where the problem is and what to do !!!
I read about this on another post, and as it sounds, the only fix is to replace the board. There's still no way of recovering a lost imei if "fastboot erase all" was executed. (Who in the world told you to do that? It is well known that this command will permanently brick moto g). And even if you could somehow get an imei through flashing someone's backups, your provider would kick you out of the network because of an falsified imei (it's a unique number, assigned to the phone). The system will report imei=unknown if pds is corrupt, read-only or in any way not accessible to the system. Then there it's a good chance of restoring the imei. But after "fastboot erase all" the system will report imei=0 and that is the end of the story. Motorola doesn't give any tools or information on how to manipulate imei.

Hello there,
I hope I am posting this properly. I have bben using my device with verious ROMs over the last year or so, but when I tried to get rid of GApps, it soft-bricked and I restored using Lenovo Rescue and Smart assist the stock ROM. Then, trying to reflash, it started reprting that phone keeps crashing, and it does this in varius ROMS including a ROM known to work for me, with and without TWRP-Backup restored.
What I have identified as the issue is the IMEI. While IMEI is written in fastboot and fastboot getvar imei returns my IMEI just fine, *#06# just shows a box with title IMEI and OK at the low right corner, where the IMEI should be its empty.
Thanks so much in advance!
