Unable to root my device? please help - LG G Flex

im trying to Root my LG G Flex LS995 (Sprint) I've tried rooting through IOroot & Stump root. Both aren't working. in IOroot i get signature Verification error in recovery and in stump root it says "Rooted" when i run the app, but root checker shows that the root is not properly installed on this device.
What should i do? Is there any other way? P.S
Model : LG-LS995
Hardware : Rev.1.0
Software : 4.4.2
(I also used ioroot22 ,24,25 they all didn't work, i get the same error on every version of ioroot that is signature verification failed)

This happened to me on the D959. I couldn't root either. I used dfuze I think to go back to stock jellybean, I took the OTA to get back to kit kat. I had the same issues. Root checker said I wasn't rooted, but I couldn't root. I ended up downgrading to jelly bean, which I was able to root, and just staying there. Not sure how to get back to kit-kat and retain root. Maybe someone else does. I would love to know how as well.

Yes i installed it and whenever i open SuperSu it says "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to android 4.3, you need to manually re-root-consult the relevant forums for your device"

Tried this method too buts it didn't work. I followed all the steps correctly without any errors. SuperSu is installed but its giving the same message. Stump root says im rooted, Freedom Flex Says im rooted but it can't flash CWM or TWRP. Root checker says the device is not rooted properly. is there anyway to install cwm or twrp? cz i need to flash supersu from recovery but my stock recovery won't let me flash the file. it gives this error "E signature verification failed"

Has anyone found a fix for this?? I have hit the same issue as OP.

SuperSU problem

SuperSU isn't working properly after worked before. Had trouble installing CWM, got it working. Tried to give file explorer root status, worked, but SU kept confirming the last operation by popup message. Now SuperSU fails when trying to "update the binary".
Tried uninstall cleaning from app and reinstall.
What can I do?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Edit: I now understand that I lost root...
Will do a re-root...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Hmm, probl still applies after re-root attempt. SuperSU gives popup confirmations, but there is no real root acces. Both manual terminal emulator su command and root check app are negative.
Appreciate any suggestions.
LQ3, cwm in recovery is ok, as app cwm won't open, confirmed brick bug, followed latest instructions and used latest versions.

If you can't update the SuperSU binary it probably is because you have no room in your /system partition. To solve you'll need to delete a few system apps using TitaniumBackup (or similar).
A bit hard, since titanium also wants root access, which it has, but doesn't get! :-$

Checked now: the device memory has 0.93 GB free, USBStorage has 5.84 GB available and SD card has 17.47 available. Is your suggestion that there is no room in the /system partition then possible?
PROBLEM "update the binary".Superuser comes pre-installed on any rooted ROM. In fact, without it, you don’t have a rooted device at all. You cannot uninstall it, it lives on the system partition with other apps that came pre-installed on your device. It can be updated from the Market if the developer of your particular ROM has used a version that is signed with the proper keys, which are publicly available on github.
Installing Superuser isn’t somethng you would need to do under normal circumstances, but just in case here are the files needed:. Now download the package of the binaries... .

In his guide, Chainfire explained that doing so would mess things up... I think I have to wait and see if Chainfire picks up on this issue of mine... I think he is on vacation right now, so I probably have to wait a few weeks I'm not going to rush into anything here with the brick bug and all....
Well I wish you would have posted whatever did resolve the issue (if it was fixed). Because I'm having the same problem now with Super SU on Verizon Galaxy S3.
So I flashed a "superuser" and even that is doing the same thing. It never gives privileges.
Ugh.

SuperSU update issues
Jesus, after watching the n00b-video, I felt somewhat terrified of even posting, but here goes; I´m using an HTC One, European carrier, just bought it. Rooted, and now I have some weird issues with superSU.
The binary (?) update doesn´t work, and sometimes the phone goes out of root. This is often resolved by rebooting. I´ve tried a dozen forum posts, not just on this site, and I´ll be posting in the big superSu-thread also. My question is: WHAT DO I DO?? I´m not a total noob, just new to android and all this stuff. Plz help!

I did. Now I'm rooted and on 4.2.2. Follow the instructions on the thread. It works very well.
hmm after receiving my device the first thing I did was to update it to 4.2.2 (fw 2.67). Unfortunately I had to downgrade to .310 for being able to gain root with doomlord's toolkit. VRoot doesn't work for me as for an unknown reason it keeps loading like it doesn't detect the device. However unlockroot detects it, but can't get shell root.
Another strange thing is that flashtool always returns that USB debug is OFF although it's ON and well set (connectivity etc..), but I'm still able to flash despite that.
Now the question is, will the root survive to an update...

I rooted my .67 firmware using Vroot and worked perfectly.
This is how i connected my device:
1. USB Debugging on
2. Connection mode (MSC) (from settings->xperia->usb connectivity)
3. Also exit Sony PC Companion before rooting.
Look here for image instructions:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453
BTW you have to manually install BusyBox after rooting w/ Vroot.

This is obvious to advanced users but just so you guys have a heads up if you flash this you cannot use the current RSD lite package to go back to 4.2.2 stock before the update. There is a bootloader change that won't allow that SBF to flash anymore.

Wouldn't think so, I just think even though you have an unlocked bootloader they don't allow a downgrade on it. Partition 2 will fail to flash and no go past that...
That being said....if you still have the ability to fastboot images you can probably just flash the old system.img and boot.img and get the phone to boot with the old firmware...that might not be correct though, probably should have a pro affirm that.

If bootloader is unlocked you can flash anyone you want any time... If not you're stuck (until you unlock). If it changes the bootloader then I'm sure the exploit which allowed root in the first place has been patched.
P.S. Why is this in development?

First, you need Stock recovery on your phone. Since you have ATT, you likely have a locked bootloader so you do have it in place.
Next, inside the OTA is a manifest file. It contains a list of files and their check sums it expects to be on your phone. If the files are missing, or the check sum doesn't match, the OTA will fall. So you likely changed or deleted something on your phone which the OTA needs to be there.
Did you do any hacks? change or remove any APK files?
Oh, and lets not forget.. Since you have ATT and a locked bootloader (unless you paid for a code from the Chinese site), if you've rooted using RockMyMoto, SlapMyMoto or the like, and used MotoWpNoMo to disable write protection... after you get 4.4.2 OTA to install, you'll keep root but the effects of MotoWpNoMo will be undone, and you'll have Write Protection ENABLED... so anything you need to change in /system or the like wont survive Power Off/On (aka hard boot). So you won't be able to update SuperSU later, etc.. making Root pretty useless.

Awesome work bro!
This is going to save alot of folks lots of headaches...You DaMan, Fuse.:good::good:
You might want to add to the OP, IN GIANT RED LETTERS, that this is for theTMO version only, maybe that will keep most "non readers" from flashing this and bricking again..

I don't think so unless you have all the partition images. I would use my zip 1st then flash your rom
Too late. I'm on your rooted kk now. All themed up already I'm gonna go back here in a min
Yeah I forgot your zip has all those in it. My ROMs are all 4.2.2. I used your rooted 4.4 KK just to check out what 4.4 is like. This is my first time on it. Love the fact I can take advantage of "OK Google Everywhere" to just say "OK Google" from any screen no matter where but geez its a battery hog. 35% in 3 hours. I'm used to 35% in 8-9 hours.
So even though freedomflex is only for jellybean cwm will load even though I'm on kk? Just don't want to mess up my phone.

CWM will load one time only!!!! You can reboot to CWM...BUT YOU CAN NOT BOOTBACK INTO KITKAT !!!!!! You have to flash Dfuse's zip to return to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. You cannot return to KitKat from recovery.
Once on 4.2.2 you can update or use recovery to flash stock KitKat or rooted KitKat and return to KITKAT that way but can't go from KitKat to recovery back to KitKat. You will brick and have to figure out that janky a$$ method to return to stock with lg flash tool.
