WTF? It does not even boot up
Stuck at CM logo
Don't use Vendor files I mentioned here, it does not work
Does not work...?
Flashed it, everything seems to go nicely, then it does not boot. It's stuck on the boot animation. Did you even check before uploading it? Did it work for you?

Not sure If I did something wrong
I wiped my system, cache, dalvik, almost everything, and then flashed the ROM; and then I restarted my phone
Shortly after the Sony logo the CM logo showed up, but it is stuck and sometimes it is laggy

A miracle that is not likely to happen
Is it based on ramdisk-hijack method?
SP users were starting like here- nothing was working...
Try to make CM 10.2 or 11, it's easier!

We can boot into CM11 without any problems
the Issue here is the non-working drivers (Sony OEM drivers from Stock ROM does not work)
Maybe there is a phone with same specs?
Look at Motorola Moto E(1st Gen.), same processor, and pure KitKat.

Only graphics drivers working, Sound barely, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS is not working (the way E1 is works differently, or It has a GPS chipset that are not the same as in Motorola)
Ok, but how can I check the WIFI and Bluetooth driver/chip in phone?
And Is it possible to make it for LB later?

Sorry, did lots of things yesterday..... Fixed now..
Im sorry but is there a step by step guide on how to flash this ? My z tablet is rootednl n bootloader unlocked
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
Uh, I might have a slight problem. I have Xperia Tablet Z WiFi (SGP311) and somehow I ended up with a completely dead device.
Just a while ago I successfully unlocked the bootloader using the guide on Sony's webside (just before that backed up the TA partition).
Then I loaded the CWM Recovery 6.0.3.2 here, which was confirmed working on my model and previous ROM (.370) by another member in the same topic. I rebooted into CWM to make sure it works and backed up the system.
Then I Factory reset the device and flashed the newest Lungo (CodenameLungo_XperiaTabletZCM10.1_20130710.zip). There were no errors after flashing. So I rebooted the device the device from within CWM menu. The screen turned off and that is where I am now.
I can't do anything. When pressing or holding the power button, nothing happens. When I connect it to the USB charger (from mains outlet), the orange LED does not tun on. Adb and Fastboot do not recognize any connected devices either.
What went wrong? Can I somehow recover my device or is it now an expensive paperweight? Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: When I opened the ROM *zip file, I found this: "ro.product.name=SGP321" and "ro.product.device=pollux", so this ROM is obviously for the 3G version and not WiFi only. Perhaps a warning or an information in the first post would be nice to prevent other users flashing this too to their SGP311 devices :-\
I am now going to find a way how to fix this, if there is any.
EDIT 2: Well, I was able to recover my tablet using this tool and this procedure. Whew, much relieved. If possible, please add the information that this ROM is not for pollux-windy into first post. Thanks.

I have a 311. I was going to try this Rom but noticed the zip file name ended in pollux, which is for the 321 (3g/lte). For WiFi only (311, 312) the file would have pollux-windy in the title.
So, as you've found out (the hard way) this Rom is not for WiFi only devices.
I agree, the OP should make this clear to prevent others flashing it to the wrong device. Is the OP not aware of this issue?

Sorry, but there is something wrong with your setup. Personnally checked on SGP621 & 611 and it enters recovery successfully with cm12.1 and even cm13.
Have you flashed it with fastboot flash boot? Cause the symptoms are similar to this. If so, it won't boot. I think You might have to reflash by following the instructions in the OP.
It's not a standalone kernek, It's a FOTA one. It has to be booted by a firmware kernel by loading FOTA ramdisk.

could you also build for the new TWRP 3.0.2.0 ?
TWRP 3.0.2 Updated
Slightly mofified the ramdisk to enable TA and FOTA partition manipulations, but didn't get them displaying for now.
I am on stock rom 5.1.1. Using dual recovery 2.8.25.
Can i flash the img file with flashtool and then it will replace my old recovery?
Just to make sure.... scorpion_Windy is for wifi version and scorpion is for lte, is that right?
Will this recovery work if i flash it with flashtool after upgrading to android 6.0?
Anyone know how to root android 6.0?
Thanks in advance

I can say it wont really work with the 4.4 original rom. You have to be on 5 at least.
I have discovered chinese developers are working on CM13.0 for A2015 version.
http://www.myzte.cn/thread-263527-1-1.html
It's needed to register on the chinese forum for getting the download link, but I have already downloaded and uploaded it to MEGA.
https://mega.nz/#!PwJS0QpZ!SphrqNpypkaPG86oJ_RoBxuIvFRnQy38LRHk9GymSwk
Can anyone try if it works on A2016? I bought it some days ago, so I'm waiting for it and I can't try it yet.
Facts about this rom vs. stock rom I could read from chinese people:
- Overheat
- No google services
- No fingerprint
- Better battery performance
- Faster
- Very slow boot
- Worst mobile coverage
- Works with Xposed
The version is only for the A2015, said in post #198 (http://www.myzte.cn/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=263527&pid=3289532)
"Please don't install this ROM in AXON ELITE devices. it's only for AXON A2015. "

So what's the difference between A2015 and A2016?
If there're no hardware differences, it wouldn't be difficult to make a port of this rom for A2016, right?

It shouldn´t be, as there are no dramatic hardware differences as far as I know. Unfortunately my knowledge in porting ROMs is almost non-existent.
I´d be grateful if a more experienced dev could investigate.
Just to give you all an answer - no its not compatible. I've made full backup in TWRP, then wiped all partitions and made an clean install then rebooted.
It stayed on ZTE bootloader screen for 15 minutes and it didn't booted. So not even passing the bootloader screen.
Full restore of stock ROM was only possible after first wiping all of the partitions, then rebooting, restoring the stock ROM and even then the stock ROM didn't wanted to boot. After going into the Factory reset mode (not resetting, just getting into with Volume low button and power) I was able to power off the phone, then start it and then it finally booted back to previously restored Stock ROM.
This was done on A2016 Elite model.

It would definitely awesome having CM13 on this phone since the hardware is absolutely awesome considering the price tag. I have purchased this device from gearbest a few days ago for about 180 bucks. IMHO quite insane for QCOM MSM8994, 1080p, metal build etc.
Too bad ZTE isn't eager to provide proper community support...
My LG G4 shortly died (bootloop issue) after the alarm rang, waking me for work....still fulfilled its last duty... Lol

I have saw some Russian people are now working on our A2016 version.
It seems we'll have some scene
I've found a way to boot and run Chinese CM13 for A2015 correctly on our A2016.
There is no fingerprint support! NFC have problems and you can't change lockscreen settings (use external lockscreen app works fine).
Dual SIM is supported, WiFi, Caliing, Data, Sound, Camera - everything works fine. Need to sort few thing out and check the bugs if there are A2016 dependend or CM bug, since this is unofficial ROM.
For the record - I'm not building CM13 myself, just made CM13 A2015 bootable on A2016 using some special files.
In couple of days, I'll upload the needed files for you guys, so that you can also use it.
AnTuTu gives 79k on CM13.

Sounds the same issues than I got when installing Chinese marshmallow rom on A2016, but I didn't test NFC. Does it have same issue also that when trying to enable password/pin protection in security options, settings will force close?

Yes, correctly. The same issues. Can't tell if this is device firmware problem or ROM.
Is it possible to use the fingerprint and NFC files from the official A2016 Android 5.0 Firmware and port them to Android M? Like with the radio file (NON-HLOS.bin).

My SD card also works on aosp, so not sure what's your issue there. I haven't tested root so can't say anything about that.
Unfortunately, the 7.1 blobs seem to be too unstable at the moment (http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/current-platform-functionality/#7.1) to build a reliable custom rom. That might be the reason why we don't see any aosp based roms (except this one now) for our device
I flashed it today morning, and it is pretty stable. Wifi, bluetooth, camera, cellular works. The thing that after switching the screen off you have to restart is pretty annoying but I can live with that. The only thing that bugs me is that I cant download anything. Build in browser seems to not support it so i sideloaded chrome and es file explorer but chrome couldnt download anything and es download manager gets stuck at 100% downloading and doesnt save anything. But Im still rocking this rom, its great
I'm away from home for 2 weeks with the army, but when I'm back I'll see what I can do to fix the bugs
I followed all the steps described in the post but after installing everything, I get a screen to put a key. I made the installation from version 39.2.A.0.417

It's your password for decryption of the phone. It's the one you chose on stock rom
Okay, but if I did not put any password, why did you ask for it?
Do I need to flash a DSD patch if I use this ROM on F8332?
@krabappel2548
Is it possible to add OMS7 commits to the ROM in order to enable full support for the Substratum theme engine? This ROM would truly feel COMPLETE with full Substratum support.

I have no idea what the standard password is, you never used any password for screen unlock or something else before?

You want MIUI 9? There are still no fancy threads for MIUI 9 on osprey. I tried to port it. Now people should test it!
Installing is usual - MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR OLD ROM, Wipe, Install the new zip. GApps are included Out-of-the-Box.
After installing:
1. Tell if it boots
If it doesn't: say what SKU is your phone (for example mine is XT1441)
2. Tell us what works and what doesn't
3. If at least calling works and Wi-Fi works, you can try using it as a daily driver. Tell us how battery goes.
Do all that in the "Reviews" tab on the top of this thread.
I'm going to try it out, too. And I'm going to tell you what happened.
Download the ROM through the "Downloads" tab.

UPDATE: Base Android changed to Marshmallow by requests from this thread and for better compatibility.

Changelog:
2017.10.29 - Test4 (Lollipop):
* Reverted base to Lollipop. Looks like even Mi 4 isn't compatible with our device. I'm going to upgrade back to Marshmallow or Nougat when official MIUI 9 comes out.
* We have some progress - the kernel now works and the phone starts booting. It hangs on the boot animation. Please send logcats. I will look through mine, too.
2017.10.28 - Test3 (Marshmallow):
* Switched base to Marshmallow
* Also not booting because of the wrong architecture.
2017.10.26 - Test2 (Lollipop):
* Flashing but not booting
2017.10.26 - Test1 (Lollipop):
* Initial Release
* Not flashing
Does Gapps are included or have to download seperately and if seperately then which one?

GApps are included out of the box, so don't worry about that. Again, don't plan to use this as a daily driver. Just test it and tell if it works.
If there is some problem ,then its wouldn't hard brick my device, right?I have only one phone ?

Don't worry! It won't hard brick it. You will just need to reflash your ROM with something stable, like Lineage OS, for example.
Ok then, I'll flash it ASAP
It will be nice if there is marshmallow or Nougat.
Flashing it ASAP :good:

I'm sorry. In MIUI it doesn't matter that much what Android version are you running. And I don't think Lollipop is obsolete. I just chose it because Redmi 2 runs our chipset and it's the easiest device to port from.
UPDATE: Zip File doesn't flash. Will fix ASAP.
Flashed but Stuck on boot logo .. Waited for around 10mins.

Flashed but dont pass on boot logo
Project Updated!
Using Marshmallow port from Redmi 3S. Edited kernel. Try it out and see if it boots. There must be quite some bugs. But I want to see if it boots.
Go ahead and try it out if you have already downloaded another stable ROM like Lineage to flash after you try this one.
