after bootloader unlocking my phone, I was at first unable to use the wifi after fastbooting an .img that was featured in @SharkcpN 's tread. I was trying to root my phone when the .img file made me unable to join the wifi. After several attempts to get back wifi, i was able to do so (using a different ROM). But now I am unable to access the mobile network. I have tried using other SIM cards but no results. please help!
Just unlock phone and install twrp not necessary to root if ur going to install a new rom

I have already unlocked my bootloader, but I thought at first that a root was necessary so i fastbooted the img file which was shown on http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/xt1063-t3018818 . The NA root was different compared to the other variants and after flashing the img, I lost WiFi. After attempts, I was able to get wifi working but with the sacrifice of the mobile network. If anyone is able to maybe find a possible problem and solution that would be great.

Hey guys, I just recieved my Moto G 2014 and the first thing after my initial boot (to make sure everything was working) I did was unlock the bootloader, flash twrp, and root.
I just booted it up for the first time after doing all that and my wifi won't turn on. Toggling it on causes the switch to immediately go back off.
Is it a radio problem? I didn't touch any files other than logo.bin, recovery, or boot.img.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
Edit: It seems that whatever guide I followed had me flash a boot.img that probably messed my phone up. How can I get the original boot.img for my phone? This is the guide I used, which I got from the xda portal. It seems a few other people had problems with wifi in that thread, but a solution was never posted.
Edit2: I downloaded a stock based rom for the moto g 2014 and flashed the boot.img from it, but now I can't get root, even after flashing the supersu zip in recovery. Can anyone help?
Maybe you have to go through unlocking procedure once again? Not because the bootloader is relocked but there could be some kind of setting that has changed after flashing boot.img.
Just thinking.

Eh, I don't think so. The root process, in all reality, should just be unlock bootloader, flash recovery, flash supersu if I'm not mistaken. I've done all that and i still can't get root. At least my wifi works again though.
Flash complete stock rom and try again.
I unlocked bootloader, rooted by booting (instead of flashing) into TWRP 2.8.5.0 and flashed SuperSU 2.46 without any problems. There must have been something wrong with the first boot.img.

I had the same problem but could solve it as follows:
Download the file WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_nv.rar
Extract the file "WCNSS_qcom_wlan_factory_nv.bin" to folder "/persist" (root required)
Restart system

Hi, I had the same problem . If WIFI DONT TURN ON .then u might have not used the command fastboot flashing unlock_critical . Try using this command will work for sure. If it didn't work flash using miflashtool but don't select clear all instead select 2nd option only storage
Hello, guys! I've discovered a very easy way to root sony e1 with the final build version : 20.1.B.2.29
1. u need to install Philz Touch recovery over a clean Stock ROM.
2. after installing recovery, put superSU & Busybox zip files in the root of ur SD card.
3. go to recovery & select the 2 zip files & flash them 1 by 1. preferably flash superSU 1st.
4. boot normally, & update superSU binary, when it asks - select TWRP/CWM.
5. if u don't like the stock calling apk, then I'm here including Falcon ROM's 'InCallUI.apk'.
6. go to root explorer, system/priv-app & replace the stock one with this one. apply correct permissions RW-R-R (0644).
7. again go to recovery & wipe cache & Dalvik cache.
8. 1st time will take a little more than usual with the standard "Android is upgrading" & then u r good to go! hope, I helped. Enjoy, friends!
9. Note : no files r my creation. all the credits go to XDA developers, I'm just reuploading them for ur easy access. I'm going to attach 2 superSU zip files, if 1 fails, the other 1 will make it, I'm sure. only superSU v.1.94, I got from google drive, except that all the files r XDA's property. Thanx to all.
How to install recovery over stock android?
Sent from my Moto G using Tapatalk
u need to know, if ur particular phone model does have a custom recovery? that's 1st step. if u can find a custom recovery, then there'll be some kind of flashing software depending on ur brand of phone. i think, Flashify could be used for flashing zip files & .img files...etc. let me know, what recovery r u searching for? and, if u r talking about stock recovery, then probably u need to flash ur stock rom.
Okay i am talking about flashing philz over sony stock rom..flashify work??
And is it necessary to unlock ? bootloader??
I think it's necessary to unlock bootloader 1stly & then Flashify should be able to flash the boot.img.

that's why, u need to flash recovery 1st. SPTool should be able to do that. Even if ur bootloader is locked, try with sptool & see the result.

Can be unlock boot loader through flashtool?
Sent from my Moto G using Tapatalk
yes. I think there's a way to unlock it through flashtool. But, I did it after searching Google, & u need to send ur device ID or something to Sony website help section. Provide ur mail ID there. They'll give u a link that contains the code for ur specific devices's unlocking, & that link'll be available for 24 hours only. So, as soon as u get the link from them, go to the provided link & unlock ur bootloader. in the link page they'll also provide the guide about how to unlock it. Good Luck!
So today I embarked on what seemed to be a fruitless journey as I tried to root the Infinix Hot 2 on the latest build (December Security Patch of course) and I observed the following:
1. Flashing TWRP Recovery that was previously made for this device doesn't Flash. SP/Infinix Flash Tool flashes the recovery quite alright but booting to recovery with ADB afterwards gives a "No command" screen.
2. Kingroot (PC & Mobile) can't root this device as of yet :'(
3. I think the bootloader can be unlocked using the Android One Toolkit that was created for 1st Gen Android One devices. Reason being the fact it booted to fastboot and prompted me with the option to accept bootloader unlock or not.
Should you come come successful with flashing recovery or rooting this latest build, please comment your method. Thank you...

recovery partition is protected, it will get back to stock recovery if you boot the system. so you really need to boot recovery as the first thing you do after flashing.
which because of the similar bug we can't unlock our bootloader, is impossible to do with default setting. flash your lk partition with this:
