Hi there. I'm using Xperia SP for like 1 month now and I tried to unlock my bootloader. I'm using the Sony guide to unlock it (unfortunately I can't post a link (less then 10 posts :crying) . Anyway I've got one little problem while i'm trying to launch my Xperia in Fastboot mode.
The LED turns Blue for couple seconds, then it shuts down and the charging begins, like it's launching in fastboot mode and then turning off. I have Sony drivers installed from Sony PC Companion. I'm using Windows 8 x64. The system isn't asking for any drivers while i'm connecting the device to PC. Help me
Windows 8 x64 is a bad system for Flashtool to work with. I would suggest Windows XP....either through a VM or through dual-boot.
But if you have to use Windows 8 without a choice, please disable driver signature verification before you start Windows 8, so that you can install the driver successfully.
You wouldn't care where I sent this message from.
i have the same problem and i have windows 7 starter x86. all drivers installed. im wondering if my phone has fastboot mode or not.
Well everything works as I tried to do the same thing on VM with Windows XP. There was the same thing happening (the blue LED disappears) but after system asked me for drivers. After I installed them the device started to work as it should and I manage to unlock the bootloader . That surely was driver problem so if you manage to install them on your system I'm sure it'll work. Thanks for help
Hello, my phone Lumia 920 was bricked and it doesn't boot up or respond to any of the input combinations(Vol up +power ) or ( Vol. down + power) it's just showing a black screen and when I connected it to a windows 7 pc it showed as (QHSUSB_DLOAD) and windows failed to install drivers for it I searched online and I reached the Qualcomm drivers for (QHSUSB_DLOAD) mode and now the device is readable as (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader9008) in the Ports(COM & LPT) section in device manager and can't do anything beyond that ... any help on how to recover this state to a normal working one using any method even if on a Linux based system computer? I need real help
I have a Lumia 520(RM-914 Indian version) with windows 8.1 developer preview. I wanted to install Lumia cyan upgrade so i used nokia software recovery tool to download the firmware version 3058.50000.1425.0001. The installation started and it showed an error at 1%. It showed an option to recover and i tried it but it couldn't. Now the phone is bricked and when connected to pc, it is shown as QHSUSB_DLOAD device.
In Nokia Care Suite PST it is shown as USB: Product in flash mode with Data package selection failed and product code reading failed error.
When I select Open Product, select the device and select data package, it tells me to hold Down+ Power button until it vibrates and then retry. When I try that there is no vibration just i could see that the usb disconnects and connects again.
Is there no way to recover it in my home using my pc and usb cable? My warranty has been void as I had replaced my broken screen earlier outside the Nokia Care.

Press and hold the power button to start your Lumia device.
When your Lumia device starts, it displays the Microsoft or Nokia logo. At this instant, release the power button, then press and hold the volume up button. This step should be done quickly.
After a few seconds, an image composed of a white lightning and a white gear wheel appear on the screen of your Lumia device. At this instant, release the volume up button.

My phone not is detected, I did the change in pc settings, install lumiaflashingtool but nothing, I tried with 2 pcs , still show unknow device.
Hey guys, so here's my problem:
When I put my phone (TA-1052) in download/fastboot mode to unlock the bootloader, it is not recognized by my Windows 10 PC (64-bit) or Win 10 laptop (32-bit).
I've tried out different drivers and adb works fine. But as soon as I get into download mode and ask fastboot for a device list, it's gone!
The odd thing is that it doesn't show up in the device manager anymore. Windows also doesn't give the USB-connect sound when I plug in the cable.
Please help me out!
(I'm running Android Pie with the April 1st security update and I'm using the latest platform tools by Google)
