I was kind of disappointed when I saw the Marshmallow Easter Egg, but turns out it's not exactly the same as in Lollipop. Now the Flappy Android is multiplayer, if you click on the + next to 0 on top you can have up to 6 players playing simultaneously. Faith in Google restored!

I don't know if this has been posted about or said already but a friend of mine was messing around with my phone and checking out the games I had for it and noticed that if you play Ping Pong in landscape, with the keyboard showing, it's just like playing the good old classic Pong. I thought it was interesting.

I am the developer of PingPong and you are correct... well kinda. I tried to make ping pong so that it never actually rotates to landscape mode. So if you want you can just hold the phone sideways and play with the keyboard in...
I have been thinking about making some big updates to PingPong as I have learned a lot in the month since I released it (android features and coding techniques that I picked up while making WordWrench and BreakTheBlocks) BUT PingPong is a top 10 game in its category that has over 75,000 downloads and I am not sure if I want to mess with a good thing. I am open to hearing any thoughts on updated PingPong or simply ideas/requests for PingPong or any of my other games

Did you get the idea for break the blocks from an old atari game? I remember playing a similar game as a kid that had multiple players and same basic idea.

my personal inspiration is from a game on my TI-83 calculator... but the first game of this type was called "Breakout" and released on Atari, the next game of this type was called Araknoid... and now it seems that most people think of this type of game as "BrickBreaker" from the BlackBerry platform
I personally just think it is a fun game and a game that I would play over and over again... I think I almost have the gameplay issues sorted out, (optimize it further to remove the occasional lag of the ball, do a small graphics update, and decide if I need to further tweak the ball speed), maybe completely update the sounds, and then focus on making new levels for the paid version of the app
Best suggestions ever.

1. Every time the ball hits a board it makes a super exloding sound that will rock the balls of the player beholding the Gexcalibur1 (that's what I call my G1).
2. Ricochet sounds when the ball hits the wall. Remember that scene in Robocop when there were these criminals in an arcade and some dude was holding this little turd hostage and Robocop didn't have a good shot, so he had to calculate where to shoot his gun so it would bounce and hit the bad guys? That scene will pop up in my head every time the ball ricochets off the wall. Holy crap just imagining these two ideas makes me want to pay $50 for this super awesome game.
3. After about 50 bounces, you reach level two which takes you to a sidescrolling beat 'em up where the two Pong boards have to fight there way through enemies like Super Merio and Tonic & Sails. The only way that the Pong boards could redeem their lost respect as a video game is to rip and tear... 1 gut at a time™.
(Make sure to have bullet time effects, the ability to reverse time, and awesome CG FMVs that will make Konami recall MGS4 due to embarrassment of their inferiority (which reminds me, make every FMV 3-4 hours long (about the battery life of the G1)))
4. Level 3 - FPS. Trackball as cursor control, touch screen is player movement, set in World War 2, my ideas are the best, your head is exploding.
5. Fund it.
It appears that Tapulouse the developers of ever so popular iPhone applications such as Tap Tap Revenge, Twinkle, Fortune and now Collage, are eyeballing the Android platform for a port of Tap Tap Revenge. A developer has commented saying, “if there is a lot of demand for it, you never know . . ."
Sounds like it is all in the hands of Android users at this point. Tap Tap Revenge is the iPhone equivalent to Guitar Hero. With the same basic concept, this application puts your rhythm skills to the test in all new ways. Tap your way through the basic beat of a song or shake left and right as the arrows fall.
Right now Tap Tap Revenge is free for the iPhone with more than 40 free songs. Tapulous has even released a Nine Inch Nails version of the popular game for NIN fans. Best of all they offer Tap Tap Thursdays where every week they feature a free new exclusive track from top artist. If that wasn’t enough they also offer weekend contests and giveaway prizes that range from iTunes giftcards to backstage passes to meet your favorite rock stars. Tap Tap Revenge has been on my iPhone since day one, now I want to see it on my G1! How many of you would also like to see Tap Tap Revenge in the Android Market?

This was posted the 14th of November 2008. How about all of us that want this game go over to their website and start demanding ? Or post a comment as your demand on here, maybe they'll come across this thread some how and consider porting the game to the android phone.
yeah thats one of the few things i missed when leaving the iPhone scene... id love to see tap tap for android. i remember playing tap tap before it was even in the app store lol

I sent an e-mail to the company when the NIN version was released. I never heard back.

It works if your on a rooted rom like cyanogen you have to press both at the same time on the note
I have started a petition on facebook to bring ttr to android, join if you want ttr on android
Link: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=217830565648
wtf is ttr?
Tap tap revenge, its a top rating Rhythm game on the iPhone/ipod touch, if this game came to android, it would really help it out, and be the top rating game in the market
There already is a port of frets on fire, so why you want TTR? It is such a limited game, i tried it on my itouch and hated it from the first second...
In my opinion, i prefer Tap Tap Revenge
TAP TaP is awsome
i have an iphone but dont use it because no keyboard
2 day got g1. no tap tap need it
Yea because the Android platform totally has multi touch, and intuitive touch screens that could keep up, and an music store to link from the game to it to make even more money.
And a dev banking in as he claims near a million a week, he'd REALLLLYYYYYYY want to come to Android when he's just going to get **** head 1 star comments saying force closed
it needs better controls
No Droid support
No Cliq support
It lags.
etc.
STFU.
I'd rather see Android turn up good 8bit arcade games or rpgs like Hexage did with Radiant.

Second you STFU.
and Third, I would rather see Android progress, get faster, get better games, etc. Overall just advance as a whole.

chill out. most roms have multitouch anyway
I <3 TTR
I play it on all my friends itouch/phones and the game is awesome and a fun way to make the time go by. IF you think about it android just came out a few years ago (08) and the iphone came out in 07 the iphone picked up all of their developers in their first years. its kind of hard for android to keep up when apple has the ability to pay all of these people to make most of their apps to do alot of things android cant do. I feel like both the iphone and android systems have surpassed the windows phone in so many ways, and in some ways i feel like android is better than iphone. but all im really asking for is TTR lol.

@imalexho #tegra2 version will go live in a few weeks!
21 hours ago via web
when i email them they told me that a by a few weeks they mean like 2 or 3 more weeks so this game might go into june or very late may but are dead set on keeping this deadline
The word on the fishlabs forums is "Anyways, it shouldn't pass from this months (safely less than two weeks) but the time goes by so fast "
This should mean just under two weeks, but that guy in the OP is ceo of fishlabs... either way, sounds like we shouldn't break too far into june before this is definitely out.
is anyone else incredibly disappointed in the rate that these new games are coming out? delays on games this simple should not happen. these are not console games and they have been working on this game forrrreevvvverrrrrrrrrr

No, these aren't console games, but with console games your target doesn't move. Android is constantly changing, at a rate faster than consoles have ever seen.
Yeah, 3.1 has moved the goalposts. Games that used to work on 3.0.1 now FC on 3.1. A tad harsh to ***** about the developers not releasing games on time. I for one would rather wait a little longer for a working version of the game than get it now and have it FC after 1 minute of play.

Certain Tegra 2 games may actually be (nearly) identical to console titles. I saw an article in the TegraZone app about how developers are able to pretty much just take their console game and recompile it for Android now with the cross platform help they've received from NVidia. This wasn't possible before. If that's the case then think of how much longer we have had to wait for some of these titles. Remember, it could always take longer.
There is a flappy android game hidden in the android version of the settings!!
Yes, we know.
Well I did not know this!!!!!
Yes, but did you know you could save up to 30% on auto insurance in 15 minutes ?
I am looking forward to playing Flappy Andy as soon as it OTAs onto any of my N4, N5, N7, N7.2, particularly since I have never played Flappy Duck, or whatever it was called.
