I can't find where in settings. Trying to setup Titanium Backup. Please help.
Found it: Settings > About Device > tap Build Number seven times. This turns on Developer options, under which is the USB Debugging toggle.

No USB Debugging option
From what I have read it should be located under Development but the only options I see are:
Android Debugging
ADB over Network
Debugging Notify
Stay Awake
Allow Mock Locations
Stop App Via Long Press
Device Hostname
can someone please point me in the right direction, thanks
kind regards

In gingerbread it is called USB debugging, in ICS it's Android Debugging. Just the words changed but same purpose
i am on CM 10.1 RC5 i can't use USB Debugging cuz ADB Driver can't be installed
i installed Kindel Fire HD ADB Drivers and ADB Says "Device Offline"
any solutions ?
go into developer options and enable android debugging.
if you don't have developer options enabled, you won't see the menu.
to enable, open about phone menu, scroll down to the last entry and keep tapping it until it acknowledges dev options enabled.

no , the problem was in the drivers only ... i fixed it by installing Drivers From Andrioid SDK Tools

Maybe you can try the tip below:
1. For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings > About Phone > Build number" for several times until you get a note saying that "You are under developer mode". Then, go back to "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging".
2. For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings > Developer option > USB debugging"
3. For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging".

This worked for me Thanks!
I can't pick any option when I connect the phone to the computer, they all are greyed out. The only way to transfer files from my phone to my PC is through TWRP or changing the default USB option through developer settings.
Can someone help?
Can you attach screenshots?

This happened with me on my phone's stock image. All the usb options were greyed out. I tended to look for solutions, but couldn't find anything relevant. Then, with a later update, it got fixed. However, now I'm using a custom rom(Resurrection Remix), so there are no issues with USB atm.
I would suggest you to install a suitable and stable custom rom(Lineage OS, is the best) on your device. It might help.
If you are on Lineage (You don't say) just set the USB option to always transfer in developer settings, Plus make sure USB debugging mode is turned off.
When I connect my Mi 9 Lite to PC via USB cable, it says that the device is not recognized. I tried 2 different computers, and 2 different cables, same thing.
I tried reinstalling the drivers etc, all the online tutorials for fixing, nothing.
Anybody else had the same thing happen to him, or maybe has a suggestion what to look for?
Thank in advance.
Hi, enable USB debbuging
go to settings -> "my device" (or similar) and tap on your build number multiple times. go to "advanced" -> "developer settings" and check if "Select USB Configuration:" is set to MTP for file transfer or PTP for your Android to play a digital camera storage.
