Maybe you can try the tip below:
1. For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings > About Phone > Build number" for several times until you get a note saying that "You are under developer mode". Then, go back to "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging".
2. For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings > Developer option > USB debugging"
3. For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging".

Hi,
I'm new with Android,
I have upgrade my Samsung to Froyo 2.2 and since then I can't find, how I can change the mode to PC Studio
I don't have the option in > Settings -> Applications -> USB Settings -> Select Kies mode.
Where can I find the USB Settings in Froyo 2.2
Thanks
I'm actually looking for the same thing...
If someone knows, we'd appreciate it.
Found it
Settings > Wireless and network > USB settings!
How am I supposed to install the necessary drivers if the phone only stays in fastboot for 5 seconds at the max? Using Windows 8 64-bit, if that makes a difference.
From what i have read Win 8 32/64 bit is problematic
I can't remember what it is you need to disable.

I got the same issues with the drivers.
Go to here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Install the latest version
Then in Windows 8 > Mousepoint upperleft corner > settings > PC settings > General > Advanced reboot > Reboot now > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup settings > Restart > Press F7
Go to C drive > Flashtool (should be on top of the list) > Drivers > Install > In list scroll down to bottom and select Fastboot and Flashmode drivers > Install (you will see warnings about signature issues install them anyway) > Reboot pc and you're done

Does 'adb devices' report your device as offline? If so, you need newer adb binaries. I've created a zip with the newest adb binaries and am hosting it. I'll post a link if you'd like.

In the PC connection settings theres goto connection type and in the top left corner there is a little button that looks like a download button. Hit that and it will open up on your PC as an install disc that will install the adb drivers and lg mobile support program that'll keep the drivers up to date. Then. Open the android SDK manager and make sure your platform tools are fully updated

For CM:
Go to Settings->About Phone and tap on the Build Number 7 - 8 times. You should see a Toast message popup that says "You're now a developer". Back out of About Phone to Settings. You should see a entry "Developer Options" just above "About Phone".
I haven't been on stock for many many months. If you're running stock it may be different. I honestly don't remember.
I can't find where in settings. Trying to setup Titanium Backup. Please help.
Found it: Settings > About Device > tap Build Number seven times. This turns on Developer options, under which is the USB Debugging toggle.

Go to setting, then "about phone". Scroll to "build number" and tap 7 times on it. You should get a message saying "developer options have been activated" or something like that. If you go back you should see now "developer option" in your settings
I have already do that, I don't get anything I think that It should be anything for example to enable debug info device you need digit *#*#33284*#*#. Thanks
