Att WiFi calling n910t capabilities? - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

http://www.xda-developers.com/google-open-source-code-for-wi-fi-calling/#disqus_thread
So is there a possibility of someone being able to make a flashable version that may work with stock tw based and tw based roms such as firekat?
Not too many users here are Att, but many that are would love this. Would there be a way for me to add this? How does one go about that?

The wifi calling feature on AT&T is only enabled for iPhone 6 at the moment.

US LGX2 come with AOSP 2.2.1 froyo or Gingerbread?

Hello, is US version of LGX2 come with AOSP Froyo or Gingerbread or LG own software like TouchWiz or sense etc...?

I believe it will be 2.2.1 stock AOSP. It will look similar to current G2 by HTC. It might have some Tmo apps like WiFi calling, MobiTv and some others. But maily it will be clean and free of bloatware from LG.

They have some specs and possibly all features listed on their website (coming soon..). Notably absent is WiFi calling. Wonder, if not, could the app be "lifted' from another ROM by XDA? Also, will it be compatible with the hardware setup?
That could be a deal killer for me otherwise - I use WiFi calling most of the time from home office, as WiFi is always on thanks to TMo US data cap.
It seems like on most tmo phones, the wifi calling is delivered over an ota update soon after release..
One more question guys, does the phone comes unlock US version?

Comes w/ 2.2.2 stock. Few T-Mobile apps thrown in: AppPAck, My Account, Qik Video Chat, MobiTV, WiFi calling, Zinio
Thanks guys, I have one more questions cause I don't want to create another thread. Is LG easier to port Sense? Since its on froyo? Cause SamSux use different file system and it's a ***** to port Sense. Galaxy S series, 4G, Nexus S only AOSP rom like CM7, Miui etc but not Sense. Is LG the same like Samsux?

Probably 2.2.x judging from all the press shots with the fugly default pre-Gingerbread status bar.
Sense can't be ported to non-Neon GPU's like Tegra2 until HTC or someone else rewrites the whole thing. Get LauncherPro Plus.

Thanks, I just ask in the Evo 4G thread there is no way to port Sense to LG or Samsung due to htc close source.
I guess I'll be waiting on htc so I can have both worlds AOSP cm7, Miui and Sense ui.

Cant find the WIFI CALL settings option in note 2?

This is my2nd note 2 after coming back to tmobile for the 2nd time.
I remember hsving the wifi calling options toggle somewhere in the settings.
This time on this note 2 I cant locate it .
Note: I am on prepaid monthly not a contract would that disable the feature or should it still be in the device itself.
Also is this a feature in any of the flashable roms out to date
I am currently on cm10 which I believe xplains why it says gt-N7105 Below.
Is this true when flashing roms its possible to show a diff device model number?

I don't think Cyanogen Mods support wifi calling.
Yes, you can have a different device model number on the phone build. You can change it to the correct one with a build editor, using rom toolbox or something like that though it doesn't effect the phone at all.

Possible to use my wifi from home?

Hey.
I know that you can tether 2G, 3G networks etc and have your galaxy gear running off of that from your mobile phone, but can you have your galaxy gear running off of your wifi at home via your mobile phone as well?
Thing is, I currently don't have any data plans and won't be getting one in awhile so without internet on my galaxy gear, I pretty much lose a ton of functionality.
Thanks for any advice.
International stock rom on phone allows this. Most carrier roms do not

Third party app. Open Garden also allows wifi tethering. Good option for non touchwiz devices or one's that don't support BT PAN.

Verizon Visual Voice Mail

I have the Gummy 4.4.4 PA ROM and can't figure out how to get VZW visual voicemail to work, did some searching and saw some possible build prop changes that could possibly fix the issue, has anyone had any success getting thus to work on the VS989 G2 rooted with a custom ROM.
Thanks in advance

May not be what you're looking for, but have you tried Google voice? It has the ability to transcribe to Sms and replay voice mail (among other things). I've never used Verizon visual voice mail; is there a feature other than voice mail transcription?

Tethering on kitkat problem

I have an unlocked att note 3.
I have the firekat v6 custom installed.
I used to be able to tether in jb by foxfi but not the regular ui.
Now in kitkat i cant tether at all. Knowing that i bought an unlock code and i live in africa with a completely different carrier that doesnt restrict tethering.
Any help, i have tried many random gimmicks such as uninstalling and freezing the tethering provision and automation to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated
