Hi guys, where I can find stock recovery and kernel for B852? Anyone willing to upload? Please help
Or how can I do this by myself?
Download Huawei update extractor. Then select your phone type ( usually you won't get it so choose other) then it will ask you to select the update.app then from there you get all the images needed including kernel.. just select them and then you can start extracting
Basically that's true. But I couldn't extract kernel from B852. Some error occurred, that it is invalid file or something like this. Maybe because the package is only 70mb, I don't know. I flashed B839 and than I flashed B852 And yeah, I am not sure if B839 has the same kernel as B852
it should be a full firmware to extract the kernel..
you must unzip update.app first then extract , in ota update is packed with .zip

I guess it is an incremental update - everything that is in B609 should also be in B615, so if you ask me, it's totally safe. In any case, if something goes wrong, you can still use a full update rom in dload and the three button flash method. (OR you can force downgrade to B609 AND flash this one.)

Thanks...
I've tried with above folder, with dload, uncompressed and zip inside. No luck with local update. Failes each time. Any suggestions how it should be installed?
You have to put the update.zip in "dload" folder at external SD; not in HwOUC folder!

To update to B805, do what the OP said. To downgrade to B609, use the dload folder method with the full B609 ROM (the official one, not the CWM flashable).
Has anyone tried it yet? Screenshots please.
I get the update too have someone try it??
Its good update thank you
Million dollar question: how do i downgrade from B615 to B609?
@Araca Any Screenshots would be appreciated ?? Currently Downloading Lollipop Update .....
I am getting these also OTA.
With the HwOUC folder
For me it was the original update process

My_rom
Well, currently I'm using my-rom 3.3. how do i "downgrade" to stock b609? Does a CWM flashable 609 work over my-rom?
And also, any ideas of, in case something goes wrong, how to downgrade from beta emui3.1 to 3.0?
Hello, what going to append if i update my rooted phone on B136 to B170 because i readed that if i update with OTA Update my phone can go in a bootloop. Thanks for the answer.
It might be possible. Do not update ota when you are rooted. Download the latest firmware from huawei-updates.ru for your specified model, take the zip into your sdcard in a folder named dload ( you can create it if you dont have it) and go to updater, local update and select it.
Thanks ! and like that I'm not gonna have any problem ?
And and I can directly go to B170 or not?

Thanks it worked !
No problem sir, here to help
Nooo! don't know why but my phone go to a bootloop.... tried everythink....
Hmm, try to plug in it an usb cable and flash an old firmware for it trough adb.
Can you give me some link to do that ? and thanks !
U need adb toolkit, a version of b170, search on huawei-updates.ru , prefferably the european version. Get huawei package extractor and extract from update.app found in the zip of b170, system.img, cust.img, boot.img,recovery.img. and flash them one by one in fastboot mode. If not, if u had a nandroid backup made with twrp u can restore. U can search google on a detailed guide to do that, as I may induce you in error, not a native explainer talent here
Or you can extract it and flash automatically all in one clic with a script(for all firmware )

I got to beta 6.0, installed twrp, root it, but it did not permanently, uninstall some system app (google+, maps, etc) after a few reboots superSU was asking for binaries; so I unroot it.
How can I get back to stock recovery? And if so, If I make a factory reset, would it boot correctly for a new setup (because of the erased apps earlier).
Thanx mates, regards

i think yes, if you do a factory reset, you will loose motion control, and it's due to your cust region
for b853 you must have "meaf "or "naf" or "ru" cust
for b852 "eu" cust
cust can be changed after flashing b621
take a look here: link
bro all you need to do is only 3 steps :
1. Flash EMUI 3.0 Stock Recovery
2. Install B800 Transition Package
3. Install FULL B839
the last step is its up to you whether you update it in B853

I can never find the official rom for Nem-L21 or official recovery. I tried to Nem-L22 (india version, Android 6.0.1), but failed ... I flash recovery for Nem-L22 and the firmware file UPDATE.APP move to a folder "dload" on the SD card, but crashed on 5%.
now downloading stock rom (Bulgarian version, EMUI 4.1, Android 6.0), I'll try as soon as the download (about 5 hours), but i dont have a official recovery for Nem-L21
if you can change to Nem-L21 or something else, not against it, but I want to EMUI original firmware to my phone.

Did this work? I have the same problem because I have lost sound
I've tried searching for the stock rom for this phone for 2 days now, i just cannot find one.
i've tried to use custom roms, but only one that worked was this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5c/development/elite-rom-nougat-builds-cxxbxxx-t3635413) but it didnt have audio for some reason.
eh
I've tried to use firmware finder on android to try to get the stock one, but for some reason i couldnt flash it. didnt work.
so is there some way i can do it via twrp?
First you have to flash the stock recovery and then you can flash the FullOTA with Firmware Finder.
To get the stock recovery you can download the rom on your pc, open the update.app file with the Huawei Update Extractor ----> https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=2433454
and extract the RECOVERY.img. Flash this file like the twrp, same procedure.
