Was using bluetooth connection to car stereo. When I got out of car the phone was dead and would not switch back on. The LED's would flash for a bit then nothing. Bootloader would not load either.
Connected to PC. It saw HTC but had yellow exclamation mark. Tried a few times without success. Tried light in sensors trick and nothing for a bit. Then the HTC had the disconnection sound in Windows. After a while it rebooted.
Plenty of charge (79%)
Ideas?

Hi all,
got another interesting one: Whenever I turn off my M7 and plug in the power cord, the little red light and the screen come on- but then then they stay that way. The screen doesn't turn off anymore like it usually does and the inidicator red stays red, the battery doesn't even seem to load. I have to do a hard reset to get it to boot again, otherwise it won't react.
It doesn't make a difference if the cord is already plugged in when turning it off or plugging it in afterwards. When the phone is on, everything works fine.
Any ideas?
I installed the latest KitKat ARHD last week, now I tried the GPE to see if that fixes it- but it's the same with both of them.

This problem is usually caused by the custom recovery. Irc, it was a problem with a unique twrp version, can't remember which one exactly. Red light stays on and screen never turn off when power cable is connected.

Damn, you're the man! I remembered downgrading TWRP sind ARHD wouldn't install with the latest one.
Reverted back to the latest version and everything is working fine again.
Thanks!

My m7 started to behave weird yesterday.
I unlocked to check time, suddenly white screen, HTC One logo and stuck there.
Today, exactly the same - unlock and sudden white screen appears.
I didn't find solution / cause of my problem yet.
To get out of white screen,
press POWER + VOL UP and keep pressed for about 10 seconds -> Then your phone reboots (at least mine does).
Hi,
I recently found a M7 without working display. When I try to power it on, the power up sound goes off for about half of second, silence and the sound with the pauses go off until the phone dies. Is it the bootloader issue or is it something else? Not sure if I can factory recover it and if I manage to do that, if I will be able to set it up.
