[Q] bricked, cant enter download mode, help please!

hi, my galaxy mini turned off itself and restarted, but my lockscreen button wont work anymore, and now my only starts up when I connecgt it to my laptop with a usb cable, but it turns off every time after e few minutes and now i want to flash
stock gb rom 2.3.4 but I can't enter download mode because my lockscreen button doesn't work anymore
i'm using miui gb rc1 rom
if someone can help me please do! thx

Hmm! strange problem.... Go For samsung service centre i think they can help u.

Odin can detect ur phone? If yes just flash a right rom in odin downloader...

no odin doesn't detect cause i can't enter download mode

Can't you even enter recovery mode if you can just restore one of your backups. Else you have no choice but to give your mobile to the service center.

(Not recommended) you can also try to open up your phone and manually initiate the part that is pressed by the lock key and enter download mode just a suggestion but it is always safe to give it to the service center. Here in India the people at the center are noob and so they don't even know what is root sobthey didn't charge me money when I had the same problem.

If u can enter recoverymod and i am sure u have cwm...wipe data cache or everything and try reboot ...or u can restore back up .
Power button not work......u must go service centre and u must know ur phone not under warranty if u rooted ur phone.

I am sure there's a rom which have the option to boot into download mode just search in development forum
or
set up adb then connect your phone in debugging mode
open adb command line and type "adb reboot download" without quote

pull of battery, wait 3-4 seconds, put battery in device, press Volume Down + Home + Power

follow this simple steps:
1-put off your battery
2-put off your sd card
3-put your sd card in a card reader or something else (for example another phone with usb cable and micro sd slot...) and connect it to your pc
4-download another rom into your sd card
5-put your sd card in your galaxy mini and put on your battery
6-hold pressed home+power button to go into recovery mode
8-wipe data,cache,dalvik cache battery stats and recommended to format system in mount menu
9-install your just downloaded rom (install zip from sd card,choose zip,select your rom and press yes instal)
10-reboot your device
11-enjoy XD
if u cant enter into recovery mode just boot up your device and when you are in homescreen hold pressed power button then choose reboot and select recovery
hope this will be useful

just go to recovery and mount storage to pc...then download and transfer new custom rom and flash it...

when i press the button for power on my phone turns on and stops in th lg screen
when i press vol + and power on my phone enter in normal recovery (no cmw,or other) and when i connect whith pc install a divice but no folder
when i press vol + and power on my phone enter in normal recovery (no cmw,or other) without battery i coonect whith pc phone begins to vibrate and screen is pink or violet i don't remember
my phone have root and recovery and i have a backup in the internal storage i have make do with recovery

You need to press the VOL "--" and the button switch on the phone, and hold up to vibration. Thus enter into a mode of CWM. If this does not help, then update the firmware through KDZ, the data is stored.

Did u installed a new busybox. If yes, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036757
If u want to start from stock recovery in CWM-Recovery u can use adb, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006168

No need to wipe or do a factory reset...just reflash firmware through KDZ. And you should be good. Then just re root after.

Looks like your file system is corrupted, making impossible to re-install the factory settings
Just re-flash the phone...
Downgrade to V10A, factory reset and upgrade to V10H "web upgrade".

Your problem is solved very simply. You just need to make the output of KDZ when iParam stop at 204 , then insert the battery, to come again in mode S/W Upgrade and re-install the firmware . Run KDZ and re-install the firmware. Believe me helped. Sorry for my bad English. My skype: Feodorus1972.

PLEASE HELPPP! Bootlooping without even intalling a custom rom PLZZ HELP?

let me explain exactly what i did. i rooted my device (huawei p7-L00) using kingroot then i used super-sume pro to convert my kingroot to supersu. i did it, it worked, but i needed need to update su binary, i didnt have any custom recovery, so i chose to install it in ":normal". it asked for reboot.........there...it started boot looping...i rebooted like a billion times, i factory reseted my phone through emui recovery. and rebooted. IT IS STILLLL STUCK ON THE BOOT AANIIMMAATTIONNNN!!!!! plz help, i really need my phone back

reinstall the same firmware by 3 bottons "force update"
if u dont have the firmware surch for it in the forum ( or google )

Foul restart by holding down the volume button in the upper part (+). In recovery you do comes out of the 2 formats that are indicated and so you starts with the configuration of fabrica.

sorry but the phone dont start to recovery mode it still blocked on logo and whene I press volume down boutton and plug the usb cable it enter to the fastboot & rescue mode only

-How were you installing the firmware (which method)?
-What firmware were you putting in?
-What version is your phone?
-What android version did your phone had before bricking it?
I've been there with the soft brick. I got my phone back to life by downloading a ROM, putting it into the external SD Card, created a folder named 'dload' and adding the UPDATE.APP file there, then, press vol up + vol down + power and the restore started.
One thing that's worth to mention is that the phone may not boot even with this, but you just need to put the phone on erecovery ( turn it on with vol up + power ) and wipe cache + factory reset. This will bring it back to life!

the phone is huawei P9 Plus VIE-L29 the wrong thing that I did that I flash a data file before flashing rom and the big problem that the phone enter only to the fastboot and rescue mode like the attached picture and I thing that my phone is dead now and no way to resolve this problem

Don't worry FIND THIS VIDEO in youtube Huawei Honor 7 flashing in fastboot - DC Phoenix... BUT u should payed 15 euro for using this program but it works 100 % i used it for my VIE-L29C10 this programm flashed you phone from fastboot! GOOD luck MATE

That's forced update mode.
The rom is about 2.8 gigabytes and must be in dload folder on the root of your external SD.

yes mate u're right first of all he should try flash his cellphone 3 button method but if it's not work he should pay for this porgamm and 100 % that programm flash his phone from rescue mode

Just rescued my phone by using the DC Unlocker tool.....Best 15 euros I've spent

what exactly you purchased in dc unlocker? I have the same problem as you pls help..

The device loses a Recovery Stock file that must be installed
1. Download the file Recovery Open the zip file and place the file in the Minimal ADB and Fastboot program
2. Open Minimal ADB and Fastboot
3. Connect your phone to the computer
4. Type this command (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)
5. After installing the Recovery Stock file in your mobile phone, disconnect the cable and continue pressing the stop button until it restarts and press the stop button with the volume up button until you see Recovery and load the original ROM in the SD card

No chance to work,FRP and Bootloader is locked.This only working with unlocked Bootloader to flash img Files via Fastboot
Only DC Phoenix helps

Expensive Brick -Failed verification during debranding

HELP needed please
Tried to change my Vie -L09C02B133 to L09C432 - unlocked bootloader and rooted no probs so took the plunge and followed the video to debrand
After the first step re changing oeminfo again everything seemed to be ok however when my phone rebooted i got a red message saying that the phone had failed verification and may not work properly . It then asked for a password.
After a couple of reboots the phone came on but with no keyboard -
After another reboot i can't get past the Huawei logo ....
Any help appreciated

volume down & power gets me into fastboot & rescue mode bot not letting me connect to hisuite on my pc

have you got sd card? and have you got an adapter so you can use on pc?

power off phone, eject sd card place in pc copy the L09C432 firmware to dload folder ( marshmallow ) , place sd back in phone, hold down vol up + vol down + power buttom and it should flash the L09C432 fimware.
It should boot normally now

My phone wont shut down.......I can restart it but it comes up with the verification error and then sticks on logo - ive tried to put the firmware - L09C02 into the dload on my sd card but still no luck ... was originally on L09C02 before running into probs with the debranding

Ok first thing , you have already changed oeminfo , so you can not roll back at this stage to your old firmware, u changed to L09C432 so you need to download L09C432B180 I think it is, might be B181, once you have downloaded that fimware, extract it, you should have a file called UPDATE.APP, remove sd card from phone , place in pc, create a folder called dload in root directory of sdcard, then copy update.app to that folder, only update.app, then hold down volume up + volume down + power button, after phone restarts and Huawei logo appears, release only the power button, a couple seconds later release volume buttons, maybe 5 to 10 seconds after the phone should automatically start updating

Edit......No joy I'm afraid ....Phone completely discharged and when plugged in it boots up but sticks at logo again....Gonna try DC unlocked as described on another thread

YESSS. Got my phone back to L02C432B181 using the DC Unlocker tool... Everything seems fine.....Just waiting for full charge before I try the B362 update

My P9 Plus is similar to your phone's problem. Stuck on Huawei logo ang can access Fastboot only. How much did you pay for DC Unlocker? Thank you.
