9200C clear protective cover - gold issue - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello xda's ,
i recently updated my note 5 into ver 6 , but after updating my clear protective cover - gold isn't working , cannot answer calls , read message .
screen doesn't close if i close the cover.
any idea how to fix this issue ?

Galaxy note screen is diplaying negative colour !!

just bought my note 2 days ago , all of a sudden when i opened the screen to see a notification , colors on my note were as if of a negative photo , i closed the screen and turned it on the problem was gone , what do you think is the problem here , software or hardware ??
Most likely software. Hardware problems do not tend to go away unless related to running temperature in my (pretty extensive) experience.

Do I have bug ?

Just recently when getting a text message my camera comes on ready to use ? Any body else have this issue.

LED View Case Stopped working Need Help!!!!!!!!!

hello friends,,
I just installed s9 ported rom to my note 8 device and its LED view cover is stopped working. Its not showing time and any notification but its showing in setting that it is attached. It is just 4 days old. Now i just installed clean official firmware with Odin but still no luck.. Can anyone help me out please???

The led case may be defective
My LED case stopped working after a year (it was looking a little worn). I got a new one and it's working fine now.
Just reinstall N8 stock rom, if LED cover stopped after flashing S9 ROM. Otherwise, live with it..

The LED cover in general is crap. I had one when I used my S7 edge. It gets its power supply thru the wireless charging unit. Did you test if this one is still working? Even if you get the LED cover to work again I would strongly suggest you get rid of it soon. It doesn't protect the screen effectively. I had to replace the display of my S7e twice when I used the LED cover. Never again! LJ

Note 9 S pen

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if anyone experience any issues while using their S pen? At times I would use my S pen to crop a picture but I noticed it would still move even if the S pen does not touch the screen it's hoovering over , also if I write a Note on my screen it will trail (if that makes sense). I tried syncing it again which fixes those issues but it seems like a temporary fix.
Do you have a magnet close by the phone? It interferes with the spen tracking

Thanks for your response and no I do not have any magnet close by the phone.

Is anyone having an issue with the mic when using a case??

So I've bought 2 cases. I started realizing my Google assistant, voice typing and voice over headset stopped working entirely.
I first checked online and some used a fix by blowing compressed air into usb port. That actually worked, but maybe for a day. Then it happened again, so I blew air into it and it worked again. The third time it was a no go. I am COMPLETELY stocked out, so I tried uninstalling, reinstalling apps, and went as far to do a complete factory wipe ( which worked for the first few hours).
I later found that if any of these cases were on even just Half way on either side of the phone, the mic would eventually stop working.
The weirdest part is both cases have big open cut outs at the bottom where I thought the mic was??? Can anybody shed light on this for me? Is anyone else having mic issues with their case on??

Same issues here
I'm having the exact same issues.
Mic suddenly stopped working and with case on or off made no difference.
Using voice recorder app I would get a solid line indicating it was picking up no sound. Firmly flicking the bottom of the phone would "kick" the mic into working again. Stop then start voice recorder again and same issue.
I purchased mine full price from a Telus dealer here in Canada. They acknowledged the issue but refused to help. I contacted Google who said they would replace the device but ran into issues when they tried to process the request telling me that the IMEI didn't match what they had in their system.
I'm at a loss here and am out just under $1500.
