I opted in to the N Beta just for fun because of the easy way out. "Just opt out and a link to the last stable ota will appear shortly."
Well, that opt out and ota situation hasn't worked out just yet. Has anyone flashed back to stock from N? If so, any insight into the best method would be appreciated.
Dan
Just flash the latest Marshmallow build via fastboot. As long as you are unenrolled from the beta program, it shouldn't give you N beta OTA once you flash back to Marshmallow.

Am I the only one waking up to a system update for the LG Optimus L90? I've just downloaded and started the installation process so I'm not sure what version it is but my current version is 5.0.2.
Keeping my hopes up that it's Android 6.0! I'll updated this post when I know more. :good:
Update-
Don't know why but it updated to 5.0.2 again. I was prompted to update my system this morning with a 70mb system updated and I'm not sure why it turned out to be 5.0.2 again. Anyone know the reason for this?
Its probably the stagefright patch if it is anything. I don't LG could be this fast in bringing 6.0 to us. It has only been about a month since the source was released
If I had root, and etc, Would this wipe that off? I only ask because I'm thinking about flashing to stock with a KDZ and re-updating to Lolipop and getting this update. I've got bad relations with my carrier.
:/
Yeah it would get rid of root. You should install brossovitch's modified stock ROM if you want to keep root.
Lock the doors, disable ota, immediately!
I just bought my phone through Swappa. I see there is an update available but my phone says it is already updated. I hopefully have attached my screenshots.
I think you are on the beta release. The latest update is OOS 4.0.1. I would back everything up on to your PC. Then sideload the latest full ROM, you can get it here:
[How To] Install OxygenOS 4.0.1 with Stock Or Custom Recovery without Data Loss!!
That worked, thanks!

not to 4.01
Hi all,
I am having issues with my Bluetooth and GSM. I am considering trying to downgrade from OOS 4.1.3 to 4.1.1. I am completely stock, not rooted and don't even have TWRP.
Would appreciate some clarification to the following questions:
1) Can I downgrade by just flashing the official full 4.1.1 zip found in OP website?
2) Should I only flash the modem zip? And if so, can I use 4.1.1 modem while having 4.1.3 installed?
3) Since 4.1.1 already has nougat 7.1.1, is 1) also safe for further downgrades, for example, directly to 4.0.4?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Oldiamond
If your bootloader is locked, you can't downgrade (unless you exploit the security vulnerability from a few weeks back).
If your bootloader is unlocked, use TWRP or fastboot to clean flash whatever version of OOS you want.
You should consider flashing the latest open beta release, I think it's already fixed over there plus there are some Extra goodies and its stable as ****

Thanks to both. I am this close to send it back to RMA, as I did not install anything other than 4.1.3, and didn't even unroot it. I don't know... perhaps by sending it back without ever installing TWRP or unlocking anything would provide more feedback to the manufacturer, other than saying "damn guy, started fiddling with the phone and ROMs, and here's the result".
Regarding the beta, I initially considered avoiding it because i read in the forums about issues such as sometimes alarms not ringing. I figure that my boss wouldn't like that
Going back from BETA to regular version also requires TWRP?
Best regards,
Old

Alarm issues were fixed, also it never happened to me I and I've been on beta a long time i think on the official page there are the steps to switch between stable and beta. I don't think it requires twrp but don't take my word for it.
Hey everyone. As the title says, can i revert back to stable version of OS Nougat by flashing the OxygenOS 4.5.1 ROM? (Its 1.46 GB) I'm unrooted and on the stock recovery and bootloader is locked. Can I simply do a local upgrade? If not, whats the procedure?
I'm asking because the guides i found on this topic mentions a special build of OS which is the Open Beta version, but i don't want that. I want to revert to the stable version of OS on my OP 3T.
You cannot revert back to Nougat/Marshmallow directly from the Open Beta. There is a special firmware package to be flashed and there is partial loss of data.
As quoted on https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/coming-update-oos-based-7-1-t3564240
"Notice:
If you want to revert back to the last Open Beta N build (OnePlus 3 Open beta 24 or OnePlus 3T Open Beta 15) you will need to flash the special build provided below. Because of the nature of downgrading from a major version, this will cause you to lose partial data.
Instructions and Info:
The build will wipe app and cache data, but Internal Storage will be saved (ie: pictures and files)
Users who revert their device back to the special build can still OTA update the device to Android O build at a later date."
You can't install the stable version directly, only via the installation of the special build, then installation of the stable package.
Are you sure that if u have TWRP then u can't flash directly the stable OOS rom?
Unleashed by ONEPLUS 3T rooted

I'm not sure about being on TWRP and flashing an older build, but since OP is on Stock, he'll have to follow the instructions as given by OnePlus.
Hi everyone!
I'm currently trying to unenroll my LG Watch Sport from the beta prorrateo to be able to roll back to the previous version and maybe get the official Oreo update. However, when I go to android.com/beta it says the program has ended and there are no options to enroll/unenroll devices. Does anyone know how to proceed?
