What framework do I flash to xposed for my model galaxy tab s2 sm-t817t

I have also tried flashing with twrp xposed-v80-sdk22-arm. And xposed-v80-sdk22-arm64 I had to restore from a bootloop I was stuck in and now I am back to normal

Same boot loop problem with SM-T810.
I guess you have to wait for a newer version of the Xposed framework.
You can get exposed version already built in. Scroll towards end of first post.

It honestly isnt that great. It certainly works but loses that buttery smooth glide when browsing android store and such. Unfortunately trying to add it to the stock rom caused boot loops for me as well. Guess xposed is out for me.
The only rom I haven't tried is the cynogen mod listed. I still have version 9 on the xoom?. Served me well for root. Even then stock with root was better in my opinion. Honeycomb and ICS. The good old days. Now its this touch whiz crap. ug
I loved swapping roms with my first tablet motorola xoom. A new version to try every week. Not so for this tablet. So I've chosen to live without expose or whatever slight variation of settings is offered from the others. No offnse to the creators. Any option is better then none. The best rom so far is the first one I flashed to get root, t810_cf-autoroot_5.1.1 found below. I'm still using it.

Nope, he's using the wrong one.
you should deodex your installed firmware and use "requestConcurrentGC" version of xposed from arter97. It can be downloaded from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463

Since Xposed is only compatible with ARM7 phones on Lollipop I think I will flash the latest stock again which is 4.4.2 for my klte. With Xprivacy there is no problem with security I guess? BubbleUPNP has a module for Xposed that lets me stream audio from phone to Chromecast for apps without Chromecast support.

Real happy for you, but... what's the point of this post. We know that Xposed doesn't work (is in alpha stage) on lollipop and we also know the module's function. I don't get why you've made this thread in the first place

Imho 4.4.2 is better than lollipop for now. Most mods here aren't updated for lollipop plus xposed is working there and everything is black instead of the ugly white in 5.0. I got my S5 at the end of January and am real happy with it. Not a single problem so far Check my signature to see which is the latest ROM for the G900F. I also highly recommend you to try the kernel I'm on, it's awesome!
If you like the galaxy S6 and S6 Edge exclusive features, check out my thread on how to get them on our S5s ?

Thank you so much. Will be fun to try it out. Knew Xposed supported Lollipop, but had no idea that it was only for ARM7 devices until yesterday That doesn't matter now that I know how bad it performs in Lollipop. I prefer the GUI in KitKat over Lollipop. It's too polished in Lollipop., and I dislike white too. Great to learn that it's a great phone. So far I love it too.
Spent many hours yesterday to get it working with Windows, figuring out how to root and install rescue and trying out roms. Takes some time to getting into it when getting a new phone, and I don't miss the Sony Xperia Acro S.
If you get stuck in bootloop while reverting back to kitkat, flash kitkat modem and baseband and then try flashing the ROM itself. But i think with Odin you just flash PDA (AP) and that's it. Took me a week until i had my phone completely the way i want it xD

Thank you for the help. I have installed 4.4.2 with Odin already, and it went fine luckily. Got the rom from Sammobiles.
Great toy this with so many options. Not used to that with my former phone. Will be fun.

If you like to control your TV or air-conditioning and stuff with your phone's infrared blaster, then yes it's better. Latest one doesn't have IR blaster working so you can't control anything with Smart Remote. Technically, latest one built on Samsung's official sources is the 21.09.2014 one. Only issue is with the camera. Sometimes when you open it there are some weird colored lines inside and it lags. Toggling HDR on/off fixes it until you start it up again.
Thanks for the info. Running the latest and cannot connect to my WiFi with it. Got a backup of stock luckily.
I had to forsake Xposed to follow the development of CM. 4.4.2 works fine, but following the forefront of the development was hard to resist.

Bought a Tab S2 8" for the kids through a "eBay" site but I discovered that it was the T715 model and not the T710 which I expected it to be.
So now there isn't any 5.1.1 update and I really need multi-user support.
So I could root it to gain multi-user support..
But since I'm not interested in the LTE-part of this tablet, we won't even have a SIM card for it, could I flash a T710 firmware onto my T715 device with Odin, is that possible?
Ping, has no one tried/done this?
All variants should have multi window support out of the box. You can't flash the t710 on the t716 model. Odin will fail as it's a different model.

Yes it's possible. But you will likely have to flash a custom t710 rom as said odin will probably reject it.
I saw this thread on how to enable multi user: http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...l/guide-enabling-multi-user-lollipop-t3064326

Hi,
I've juts received the gear vr at work and I try to use it on my S6 edge plus rooted and deodexed and this is extremly laggy. but not on my friend's full stock s6 edge plus.
does anybody know what can create those lags ?
Envoyé depuis mon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + via Tapatalk....
Same here!
I have been troubleshooting this for two days non stop. I was on Superstock v2.5 to start and it was choppy.
I ODIN to stock OJ5 and it seems to work. I did only the basic phone setup and installed the Gear VR.
After that I installed CWM recovery and arter97 kernel/root. Still seemed happy. I installed a few apps including nova launcher and titanium backup. At some point the fun ended and it got super choppy.
I then decided to try Superstock v2.6 ROM since it seemed I got choppy even on stock. Installed the ROM. Did basic phone setup, got the Gear VR setup and it worked perfectly. I was quite happy. I noticed Google had restored a couple apps but I stopped the rest for the sake of time.
I am fuzzy on exactly what order things happened in but it got choppy again so I started removing apps such as titanium backup and nova launcher. It seemed to be fixed after removal of Nova launcher ...I was happy. I decided to reboot for good measure and that's when I realized somehow FRP got activated to I couldn't even boot my phone! I was pissed.
Anyways, ODIN back to stock. Erase everything including SD card. Rooted, installed Superstock v2.6 with arter97 9.4. Did basic setup. Installed Gear VR stuff and choppy again. Nothing else installed this time. No titanium backup nor nova launcher. I am at a loss.
Also of note. I disabled the Gear VR service and tested Google cardboard vr stuff along with cineveo and those all work perfectly.
I had the same problem when using custom roms. I almost took the gear vr back to att where I bought it from because I thought it was defective. (Still in disbelief I found one actually). So I ended up Odin'ing back to stock and everything is good. I think the lag is either coming from kernel, rom being deodexed, or some integral piece from gear vr not being present in rom

definitely due to the kernel. I am using N9208, upgraded to OK2 ROM via odin. I keep everything unchanged except for the kernel: with the modified OH3 kernel(rooted), it's laggy. with alter97 7.0 beta, also laggy. the only working rooted kernel I can find is the N9208-OJ3-Root-Stock-Kernel. but this kernel seems dont have the deep sleep...
p.s. I fixed the deep sleep issue with the solution found by @garyd9 in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63226718&postcount=18
as no init.rc in my system, I just put a script in /etc/init.d folder to do the cache settings.
On the note 4 when I was rooted using the Gear VR I had the same issue with lag, what fixed it was changing the governor to on demand and scheduler to sio or noop.

I have been running Xposed on my Cyanogen phone for a long time now and nothing bad happens. Cyanogen just doesn't support you if you have Xposed on there so if you have any problems they won't help you.
For you bigger problem is what phone you have, not the system you run
Most of rooted phones who wants to use CM have cm or cm based roms, so if there will be a big problem with xposed you will know that. Only problem is lack of support form ROM developer if you use xposed. OFC some phones/ CM modifications can cause problems with xposed ut there are less .

Just to let you all know that Xposed works well in Cyanogenmod as long as you follow the instructions specific to your device when it comes to installing the Framework and installer app. It's not magic nor does all the modules work for all the devices. As for anything you install for the first time as a noob to XPosed... "do your homework" and "understand what it is your installing first". If your tech savvy, try it out and if needed, ask questions. Then you should do just fine.

To be more accurate. The Software (aka Rom) and sometimes Android Version is important to kno when running Xposed. Many custom Roms and Xposed Modules clean clash or not be compatible. Some Modules are generic in design and pretty much work on every Rom across the board like YouTube AdAway because it's App Based. But then their some that are Rom based like xMiui that's specifically for Miui V8 or xTouchWiz for Touchwiz on Marshmallow. Both of which won't work on our do anything on CyanogenMod. Then their are many like GravityBox* that put a disclaimer on using it with Roms outside of AOSP or Google Stock, yet it works fine on CM in my experience.
Just read each module clearly before activation. No need to be discouraged and Xposed have 2 methods of failsafe if something goes wrong. It can be disabled in the recovery by flashing the uninstaller or during the boot screen by pressing the volume buttons 5 times.
Personal favorites nearly all us experienced would use on CM is GravityBox*, YouTube AdAway & Greenify.
*GravityBox is by far the arguable best module. It's a like a swiss army knife but this also means it can clash with none stock (including heavier custom) roms. Simply because these Roms often have the features it adds already baked in.
DISCLAIMER-_-I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF YOUR DEVICE I AM JUST SAHRING MY EXPERIENCE IF YOU DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE DON'T BLAME ME OR XDA OR THE ROM DEVELOPER IT WILL BE JUST YOUR FAULT.
I RECENTLY TRIED THIS ROM ON MY EXYNOS KOREAN NOTE 4 N910L AND IT IS SUPER COOL ROM THE ONLY THING IS BROKEN IS LOCKSCREEN WHEN I CHOOSE "PIN/PASSWORD/PATTERN" IT WORKS BUT WHEN I TRY TO CHANGE THE LOCK TYPE THE SETTINGS KEEP CRASHING I HOPE SOMEONE WILL HELP TO FIX THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THIS ROM LOOKS AMAZING AND VERY STABLE THAT I'VE TRIED SO FAR
THIS ROM COMES WITH AROMA INSTALLER YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR MODEL/CSC/MODS/VIPER4ANDROID ETC FROM AROMA.
WHEN YOU CLICK THE LINK BELOW OF ROM IT WILL SHOWS FOR EXYNOS BUT THIS ROM SUPPORT SNAPDRAGON AS WELL AS EXYNOS MODELS IN AROMA INSTALLER. N910F N910P N910T N910S N910L N910K AND MANY MORE I GUESS.
FOR CANADIAN N910W8 NEED TO CHOOSE PROBABLY N910T MODEL WITH A CUSTOM KERNEL
DOWNLOAD ROM
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/3chH/d.../DarkLord.N5.NewUX.N920SKSU2ZPFB_Rebuild .zip
THE BEST THING I LIKED IN THIS ROM IS IT COMES WITH NOTE 5 CAMERA FULLY WORKING INCLUDING PRO MODE YOUTUBE LIVE BROADCAST ETC.
BUGS THAT I'VE ENCOUNTERED
AOD (KERNEL RELATED)
BLUE LIGHT FILTER(NOT WORKING AS USUAL)
LOCKSCREEN (NEED TO FIX)
FOR INSTALLATION YOU PROBABLY NO NEED ANY DATAFIX BUT YOU WILL NEED A CUSTOM KERNEL TO MAKE THIS THING BOOT UP DEPENDING ON YOUR MODEL SO HAVE COUPLE OF KERNELS HANDY IN YOUR STORAGE JUST IN CASE IF YOU GOT BOOTLOOPS.
FOR EXYNOS MODELS LIKE MINE SPACELEMON KERNEL 2.40.6 STANDARD BATTERY WORKS FINE.

When you will flash this rom you will get aroma installer in aroma there is N910F/N910P/N910T & N910S/K/L
Make a backup rom first before try and you probably will require custom kernel for your model.

This deleted post was a bit rude, but it says, that the rom also not works on N910F, if I remember it correctly.
@Trex888 waitet so long for a rom like this, and now it's here and we can't use it because of our snapdragon processor..... Here on XDA are so many brilliant devs, can't someone help in this project please....
If someone can try this rom on snapdragon with lollipop 5.1.1 bootloader/modem OK1/0K2 with Hvitamin kernel ?
Back in the days dr.ketan m6 marshmallow rom we ware running on lollipop bl/modem dok1/dok2 if i recall.
Sadlyi got exynos note 4 i dont have snapdragon variant to test but it would be nice if someone would.
Because i see no one here is successful boot up this rom on snapdragon variant with marshmallow bl/modem.

I had this idea, too. Maybe it's Lollipop and not Marshmallow. Will test it now. Backing up current system at this moment :fingers-crossed:
Edit: I use COJ3 Bootloader (Lollipop) and H-Vitamin Kernel but it's the same.... Black screen after splash screen Note 4 Logo..... And if I remember correctly, LP-Bootloaders didn't work with Dr.Ketans M6 rom...

The rom is definitely marshmallow but as i mentioned earlier maybe it requires lollipop bl/modem with Probably Hvitamin kernel for some reason like dr.ketens s7edge rom m4/m5/m6.
Maybe this combo could make this thing boots up.
