I have moto g2 1068, today I unlocked bootloader and flashed recovery, then I downloaded cm12.1 but while flashing it turns off automatically and reboot automatically
Plz help plzz plz
Reboot intro recovery again, wipe (Cache, ARM\Dalvik Cache, Data, System, Internal storage) then flash the rom again.
if you doubt the downloaded rom file, check the hash of the file with the one provided from the download page Link
also you can check the zip file by opening it with WinRar or 7Zip and press the "Test Button"
if the device still won't boot into system, try "Factory Reset" from the bootloader mode then wipe all (as mentioned above) and re-falsh
still didn't work
flash the stock rom for your device (look up for the thread in Development section)
Then what is the problem with twrp, it is not flashing anything, while flashing it automatically rebooted...

Hello everyone.
Last night I was trying to root my I8200L flashing the SuperSU with TWRP, so far so good. I installed Chainfire's SuperSU app.
When I opened the app, it said the binaries were outdated, and if I wanted to update them. I accepted ann the phone restarted in Recovery Mode (I'm using TWRP v2.7.0.1). Everything seemed fine, but when the installation finished, the phone rebooted and took me back to the TWRP screen. After a couple of tries I got into a slight desperation, and, without knowing much this recovery (so far always used CWM in my previous devices), decided to do a Wipe, but of course, as I don't know well how this recovery works, I went to Advanced Wipe and tittle all options (Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Internal Storage and Preload), thinking it would be like a Factory Reset.
Until now I realize that to make a Factory Reset you had to swipe just when you enter to the Wipe section, apparently I erased the entire system, but luckily I have a backup that was done before and also the Stock ROM downloaded from SamMobile.
The problem is, wanting to restore the system with the Restore option, I select the Backup, starts to restore the system, but when appears "Wiping Cache ..." in the console, continues for a few seconds and suddenly appears four purple TWRP screens, and the recovery reboots (I tried to launch the system, but only brings me back to TWRP).
The second thing I tried was flashing the Stock ROM from the Micro SD, but when I try the following appears:
Code:
Installing '/external_sd/I8200LUBUAOC1_I8200LUUBAOC1_ARO.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/I8200LUBUAOC1_I8200LUUBAOC1_ARO.zip'
Updating partiton details...
Finally, I thought the recovery has an error, so I tried to flash PhilzTouch Recovery and get the same thing:
Code:
Installing '/external_sd/PhilzTouch_recovery.tar.md5.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/PhilzTouch_recovery.tar.md5.zip'
Updating partiton details...
I can not access the Download Mode to flash the ROM from the PC via Odin, because when I try to enter (the Download Mode), just send me back to TWRP.
I don't know what to do, the phone is "locked up" in recovery mode. Hopefully someone can help me.
(Sorry for my bad english hope you can understand)ç
EDIT:
I could get into Download Mode and flash the Stock ROM, all done :good:
How?
After 3 years, now i'm passing the similar problem.
How did you acces recovery mode again, after recovery loop?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/development/list-pre-rooted-firmwares-6-oct-2015-t3218820
Above the link there is prerooted firmwares. I want to flash 6.0.1 firmware by using flashtool but when I choose flashmode, flashtool could not see the firmware. It is in zip format. I opened and extracted the fw but nothing changed. I changed the extension to .ftf but no change occured.
How can I install firmware by using the link above?
Can you help?
How to flash
Important: Make a backup before flashing!
Download and copy the pre-rooted firmware into the micro SDcard
Reboot your phone, boot into the recovery before the phone boot into Android OS (if you knew how to do it). If you using XZDualRecovery, press VOL DOWN to boot into TWRP or VOL UP to boot into CWM after your phone vibrate twice. I recommended TWRP!
Wipe /data, /dalvik-cache, and /cache (recommended)
Open "Install ZIP" and go to the location where you copied the firmware
Boot your phone. It will take 10 minutes to boot for the first time

1 . wipe everything with TWRP DALVIK/CHACHE/SYSTEM/DATA
2 . INSTALL ROM THAT YOU WANT TO INSTALL WITH TWRP
3 . WIPE CACHE/DALVIK
3 . INSTALL STOCK RECOVERY WITH SP FLASH TOOL
4 . REBOOT WITH STOCK RECOVERY
5 . WIPE USER DATA
6 . REBOOT
ENJOY
Flashing stock recovery via SP Flash Tool.
1.) Download the both spflashtool and recovery package.
2.) Extract both in the pc.
3.) Run SpFlash Tool.
4.) Load the scatter file.
5.) In the menu “Option” tab, go to “Download”, and put a “tick” in the “DA DL All with Checksum.

Your system parition not ok
Hello guy!
From the second picture, I think your system partition ( /system ) have problem.
I recommend you wipe all data, system, cache, dalvik-cache. Then use stock system.img, flash it by SP tool (just choose "Download" option). If you aren't familiar to SP tool, read these thread :

Have a good day.
Sincerely!
I tried installing custom rom for the first time now i did it with xiaomitool but it gave error that it couldnt wipe data and my phone stuck on boot.
Then on my phone i booted to twrp and frm there i wiped dalvik cache and data with a wrappedkey error but i continued and flashed pixel exp plus and formatted data and when i rebooted system i again got stuck there
Then once again i went to twrp and tried wiping dalvik cache and data again but this time with wrappedkey amd some decrypted error to and formated data and then tried rebooting to system. Again nothing worked pls help my otherwose my parents are going to kill me
EDIT : Also my laptop has mac os so i think there isnt much i could do with pc and thats only why i used unofficial xiaomitool in the first place
If youre coming from xiaomi rom or xiaomi eu rom you need to format data ( option in twrp where you type yes) not just wipe data, then reboot to recovery (twrp) again and then follow instruction of rom you want to install. Some custom roms require flashing vendor firmware before flashing rom , then gapps , then magisk if you require root ( if magisk wont install then after flashing rom reboot to twrp again). Also xiaomitool is not ideal for installing custom rom but for recovery and fastboot roms ( one that came originally with phone when phone had locked bootloader, never tick wipe and lock)
Disregard my comment about xiaomitool, had thoght that you mean miflash tool
But how
That rom is not in my phone anymore nor i know how to install back to xiaomi rom btw my phone is indian varient
UPDATE
I once again tried flashing pixl exp plus using a diff tutorial which included flashing some disable force encryption and now my device wont even boot into twrp its stuck on fastboot mode.
Now i only hot two question :
1.) will i be able to charge my phone in fastboot mode (or any other way?)
2.) will i be able to flash stock miui rom in fastboot mode through my mac (or if theres any other way pls tell me)
Yes you will be able to charge through fastboot
Just flash twrp again thn boot into twrp and go to wipe - format data and type yes.
Until and unless you format data you will not be able to do anything
Thn download Indian vendor zip ,your required rom and disableforceencryption.zip in your pc and copy it to the phone while in twrp.
Go to wipe and wipe cache ,dalvik ,data, system, vendor
Thn flash vendor zip followed by rom and dfe
Now reboot
device is jusr stuck on fastboot

Only if you forget to change the option in the Mi Flash Tool, which is easily done if you're not paying attention. If the fastboot ROM is the correct version for the phone then you won't brick the phone if you forget to change the flash option. You will just need to unlock the bootloader again before doing anything else.
After flashing a fastboot ROM, boot into MIUI once so that the install finalises itself.
Then flash TWRP and boot into TWRP.
Do a factory reset, then format data. No need to wipe anything else.
Reboot into TWRP to ensure the newly formatted data partition is properly mounted.
Now copy across and flash the ROM of choice plus any optional extras.
There is no need to flash dfe files or vbmeta, etc.
Assuming you've flashed the latest fastboot ROM, then there's no need to flash vendor or firmware files.
Just go through this post
Trust me it has solved all of my issues

Hi I bring you how to root and install twrp on A70 any version ,I think its work on all new samsung device:good:
note :
1-first unlock your bootloader https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a70/development/recovery-twrp-galaxy-a70-t3955984
2-in all step Remove auto reboot in odin
requirement files :
PeaZip
https://www.peazip.org/download-installer-p-windows.html
TWRP recovery.img mack it tar with PeaZip
https://github.com/Grarak/android_device_samsung_a70q-twrp/releases
vbmeta.tar Vbmeta.img- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...26312261811717
Stock recovery.img from your stock rom [ you can download your device rom and extract stock recovery ] and mack it tar with PeaZip
Magisk 20.1- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...26312261797449
Odin3- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...26312261811763
Samfirm- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...26312261811762
Lets start
1- in stock roms maybe work on custom roms
2-boot in to download mode and flash vbmeta.tar via odin in ap
3-after that reboot to recovery by pressing vol+ and power and clear data and cache in stock recovery
4- reboot again in to download mod and now flash twrp via odin in ap
5-reboot to twrp recovery by pressing vol+ and power and slide right to modify. Click wipe, click format data, type yes after that go back and reboot to recovery. slide right to modify, click mount, if mount system partition read-only is checked, back out and reboot back to recovery and check mount again, it should now be unchecked. . Now click Vendor so its checked and system should be unchecked, back out.
6- Copy Magisk 20.1 to the External sd card. In TWRP click install, select storage and choose micro sd card, click on magisk and slide right to confirm. (you must have vendor checked in mount or it wont flash properly). when done, click all way back click reboot to download.
7- now flash stcok recovery tar file via odin and reboot your device to system
8-after your device start run Magisk and update it by install options

Try again flash 4 file frimware and let device start to system after that reboot to download mod and flash vbmeta.tar and let your device start to system
After that reboot to stock recovery and wipdata and cach and reboot to download mod and now flash twrp
The wrong is with your bootloader if you cant fix it try to search your problem in google
You are not only one have this problem
I did every thing from scratch. Even lock and unlock the bootloader.
I am tring to make sence. Vbmeta is "verified boot". So the idea is trick the phone with our own bootloader so that we can flash twrp.
Since i cant flash twrp, vbmeta should be updated.
Am i right?

Unlock bootloader, factory reset, unsure oem is unlocked and grayed out in settings >developer options.
Then flash vbmeta, manual reboot to download mode, flash twrp, boot to twrp, factory reset in twrp , flash magisk zip then factory reset again, now boot system.
The vbmeta you flash is empty and allows flashing third party zips.
Hiii, i did almost everthing, but when i boot in recovery and go to mount, system partition read-only is checked. already tried 4 for times reboot to recovery but still checked.
Yes, i slide right to allow to modify. Any suggestion ?

Go ahead with the steps. Ignore mount system.
Let's see what happens
Worst scenario, you soft brick the phone or bootloop which can be fixed by flashing stock rom again.
Make sure you have stock rom and you backup your data
Any way to pass SatefyNet?
Instal this path in Magisk:
