No deep sleep after back to stock rom - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
After I back to stock ROM my device doesn't have deep sleep.
I use stock recovery.
I don't like to install custom kernel
Plz help me
Android mm

Theres no solution to that besides flashing custom kernel

Just install TWRP and flash SuperSU Beta, latest beta fixes deep sleep problem.
When you flash custom kernel/recovery/ROM to your device, you will never get deep sleep on stock ROMs.

Where to download latest stock rom, with root?

Where is the lastest stock rom, but with super user permissions. Tired of constant freezing of CM7 and landscape / portrait lockouts. Hoping stock rom (rooted) will solve the issue of screen not changing direction when turned.

Why not just flash a stock rom, update it to 2.3.4 then root it?

...and how do you do that (root 2.3.4)?
What's the best way to root it? It's been a while and remember going through some hoops to get mine working.

I'm assuming you'll be on stock recovery, you simply go back to bootloader and flash clockwork or Armon and flash the SU zip file again.
How I did it :
Flash FR91
Flash stock recovery
Let it boot
Force check in
Download 2.3.3 update and let it reboot
Force check in one more time
Download 2.3.4 update and let it reboot
Go back to bootloader and flash Armon/Clockwork
Flash SU.zip
Done I have root on 2.3.4 STOCK
Where can the SU.zip be found? Running ClockworkMod Recovery.
Search ChainsDD in the dev section

[Q] Stock kernel

I recently flashed the Franco kernel on my Nexus 6. I'm rooted running stock. I did not back up my stock kernel but would like to go back to it. How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
2 ways..
1) find a stock ROM that can be flashed from Custom recovery
2) fastboot flash the boot.img from the factory images on the Google website.
Download https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=F1ED4BADFEE3FC02&id=F1ED4BADFEE3FC02!380 stock kernel and flash it in recovery.
Do note that the stock kernel is encryption enforced.
Thank you very much

Unable to install GApps 6.0 on Moto G Titan

I want to install Marshmallow on my moto g. when i am going to install any ROM 6.0 it gets installed.
But next step when i flash gapps 6.0 then it says fail install.
what willl be solution for this?
I am using Philz recovery 6.0.2
tried Cynopop v4.5 Marshmallow Rom.
Gapps from OpenGapps type i tried - pico, mini ,nano
nothing worked.
I don't know what your problem is but here's a solution .
Install TWRP 2.8.6.0.
Clean Flash ROM and then flash Gapps.
Mostly you won't get any error.
Hope this helped.

Sagar I tried on TWRP 2.8.6.01 also.
TWRP didn't work on my mobile.
it restarts my mobile after installing single zip file. I don't know why. so i moved to Philz recovery.
any suggestion?
Are you rooted? Then you can flash TWRP through flashify app and see if it solves your issue.
If not then you'll have to restore to stock and follow the procedures to root and flash again.
FYI I did face this problem once but solved it by reverting to stock (I didn't intend to do this as a solution but it worked anyway).

Sagar buddy Yes! I rooted!
I am using AICP 10.0 since 6-7 months. there is no problem of root.
Yeah Like I said I fixed it by fluke like I told you (you can try it if you want) but If you want a proper answer. Id suggest you wait for someone to know what's actually wrong. Also post your problem on The TWRP or Philz Thread . Stop Creating New threads for problems.
Keep XDA clean

problem with twrp

Hi I screwd up when flashing roms and returned to stock so everything is clean I have flashed twrp again and whenever I try to flash a zip file whether it's a rom or gapps twrp reboots itself back into recovery I'm all out of ideas. I might have to stay in stock if I can't go fully custom again
