I have an htc m7_ul with s-off. I tried updating to lolipop using PN07IMG_M7_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_HTC_Europe_7.19.401.51_Radio_4T.35.3218.16_10.33Q.1718.01L_release_458803_unsigned.zip which failed in some parts of the flashing process and put my phone into RUU only mode.
After that I managed to flash M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.1_Radio_4A.13.3227.06_10.27.1127.01_release_308001_signed_2_4 which completed SUCCESSFULL without any errors. The phone rebooted and hopefully Htc quietly briliant logo appear and everything seems fine. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, the phone stuck in there. I try pushing several buttons power, power + vol up or power + vol down for several minutes but nothing. The phone was stucked on quietly brilliant logo. I waited until the battery fully drained and charge it for a while, I tried to start the phone again the phone couldn't boot up the only reaction it has is the capacitive buttons blinking whatever combinations of power buttons and volume buttons I used. The phone is not recognized in pc at all its like is completely dead (it is not even being detected in device manager) . Is there something I can to? I really tryed everything and search in forums for hours for an answer without any luck.
Update:
I am not sure if the phone is being charge since when I connect it to wall charger there is no red led light. Something I didn't mentioned is that before updating to lolipop I was on stock kitkat without root just unlocked bootloader and S-OFF using rumrunner. Any help will be appreciated !!
Update 2:
I left the phone alone and fully discharged, now when I put it on charger the red led blinks (turning on/off). I read that this led must stay solid red in order to get some charge. Its has been more than 5 hours and the red led didnt become solid red. I tried everything the forum solutions advice but without any luck.
Update 3:
I disconnected the phone from charger and weirdly the red led blinks (turning on/off) continues even is not connected to charger? Can anyone help me its urgent

Hello, I was with this guide and follow every step. I unlocked the bootloader via HTCdev website. I S-Off my phone after almost 30 times doing the wire trick (Juopunutbear). But when I tried to update the HBOOT to Juopunutbear's (which in the guide the author have it attached to download), all I get is the HTC logo loading a green bar which stops at 85% aprox and then there I wait like 40 minutes and nothing, so I tried to stop the process by touching any button and nothing, so I unplugged the USB cable, then I see a white HBOOT screen with only an RUU option and it did nothing with any button, so I decided to remove the battery.
After that my phone never turn on again. When I connect it to the charger, it blinks the LED in orange and green, when I connect it to the USB sometimes it do the same with the LED, sometimes it just get static in green... I hear a USB-connect sound when I plug it and a disconnect USB sound when disconnect it.
I have no idea what to do or what I've done.
Help me please.
Can you get into hboot ?pull the battery Vol- , and power ?

There is a post in the Android Development section for the Vivid that says something about unbricking your phone...I would check there. Just sounds like its partial, but not bricked. Not sure though.

use the unbricking tool stickied in the development forum
To be honest with you there is no immediate fix for this it takes up to a week to fix and this method may not work. I fixed my phone twice now doing this and it's been a life saver. It's for peope in a boot loop that does not cease and will not let you enter fastboot or flashmode.
REQUIREMENTS:
*You will need this SEUS
*Drivers for your phone ( use flashtool and go to where the folder is where you installed it and look for 'drivers' and open and install your respective driver software for your device)
*PC Companion (optional)
*USB Cable
*Windows
*Your Device
All download links can be found in the Downloads Section below.
The Instructions;
1. First of all if you are in a boot loop try to hold the power and volume up button until one vibration is felt.
-If you are still in a boot loop (sony logo repeating) try holding it until 3 vibrations are felt
2. Now if this doesn't work then you need to let the phone boot loop until it goes blank and it can no longer continue to boot. Once this happens if you see 2 red LED blinks or 3 RED LED blinks put your phone on charge via mains.
- Make sure that the phone has a SIM card inserted or the phone will not charge after 15 minutes. Then go back to it when you see a green LED or after 1 hour and try to enter flashmode (green LED)
3. Using SEUS (recommended) select your device and install a new fresh firmware and there you'll have your device running.

What went wrong when the phone develops the blinking red led plaque?
Hi.....I've had a similar problem with my Sony Xperia LT30.....3 days ago it froze and shut off by itself. I've tried many, many things to fix the problem but would never turn on,only the red light. Also the same happened when plugged into the computer would only stay red. Tried putting it into flash mode but it would never last long enough to flash the entire stock ROM with Flash Tool. So I took my phone apart and disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes. Put it back on the charger for 12 hours and got Flash Tool ready to flash the entire Rom this time hopefully. Did not have much hope, considering the countless attempts before with no success. But this time it flashed right away by holding down the volume down button and flashed the entire Rom. This is where I'm stuck now....I know I need to hold the power button down while the green lights on to get it out of Flash mode to charge properly, but when I put the phone on my wall charger I get no light for a few seconds than a solid red light than about 5 minutes later the green light comes on,than repeats the process. So I tried holding down the power button when the green light comes on ,but after a few seconds I lose the green light. it just goes blank than about a minute later the red light comes back on? Is it I just need to leave the phone on the charger for another 12 hours or so to recharge the battery, knowing it takes a long time to charge the battery in this state. Thank You for any help anyone can provide.

Did you left your phone whilst reinstalling any ROM or flashing anything?
I can suspect that you;ve bricked your device.
You can try to stick POWER BUTTON + VOL. rocker and leave it for entire night. I have read that some had fixed this issue by the way which I'm writing now, but I'm not sure if it will work to you.
You can even leave your phone connected to charger for some while.
If it will not work either - I have seen some where in this forum thread in which were specified how to unbrick XZ with disassemblying it

I managed to get it running now wi fi mobile data doesn't work, and power button works to lock the screen but doesn't work to wake. I'm flashing .292 via flashtool, i hope all my problems will be solved. Before they worked very well.
Hi
I am stuck with a phone that won't boot, charge, or be detected by flashtool (or windows) and will not boot in flashmode/fastboot either.
I had plugged in the phone for charging when the battery was considerably low ~ 5-10% before I went to sleep. I remember the red LED glowing, meaning the phone must've been charging.
The next morning I check the phone, the LED was STILL red and the handset was kind of dead - no response at all, whatsoever. Even the reset button on the bacl panel doesn't work (no vibration).
The phone was running BlissPop (5.1.1) with Tangerine kernel.
Now when I plug in the phone for charging, nothing happens at all, not even the red LED. The LED does glow red for as long as I press and hold the power button while it is plugged in (both PC and wall outlet)
I took it to the service center; they say they'll have to change the motherboard. Obviously the phone is not in warranty and there is no way I can pay 10,000 INR that Sony is demanding for the job.
Someone somewhere in the forums suggested allowing the battery to drain completely, but I don't think my battery is holding any charge.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

1. Press and hold the reset button for 8 seconds and check if it vibrates. Now plug in charger as there is a possibility that phone is not booting because of insufficient charge.
2. Charge for atleast 20 min without switching on phone.
3. Make sure flashtool is installed properly and so as drivers.
4. Flash Stock ftf
If the above didnt work then try Fastboot mode and simply flash Tangerine kernel.
If nothing works, then its an hardware issue and there is no point in spending 10k in repairing.
Get yourself a brand new Moto G or yureka.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2717303 <- this guy had a pretty similar problem and managed to fix it
I was following the steps he provided: i plugged the phone to PC and held the power button pressed. Surprisingly the PC did recognize the phone after a while- but it was only momentarily and the red LED also stopped glowing. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce a similar situation after that.
bump!
Hi,
After many years of enjoying this magnificent phone the disaster came.
The phone discharged overnight and switched off. In the morning I had to send some texts, so plugged the wall charger into USB socked (a weak one ~500mA), after few moments a charging icon appeared and stated that battery has 1%. Ok, I really had to send those messages: I've pressed the power button and phone started to boot.
Sony logo: OK, purple wave, OK...
After 10-20 seconds it suddenly switched of, red LED started to blink.
I thought: OK, system startup needs a lot of power, maybe a charger is too week to keep up.
So I left phone for few more minutes to charge, but without success.
That was the last time I saw screen was on.
Phone is a C6903, running on a stock, rooted 14.6.A.1.236 with the recent XZRecovery.
Bootloader has been unlocked.
For the moment I've tried everything but opening back and doing the testport-trick.
When I connect the power only red led blinks (I left the phone charging overnight, no change).
When I try to enter flash mode: nothing happens but red blinking light.
When I try to start phone nothing happens at all.
But there is still hope:
I connected the phone to 2A charger using a magnetic cable.
Then I've connected normal USB cable to my PC, strange thing started to happen:
When I pressed volume Up (even after few minutes of connecting power+usb) the phone suddenly jumped to fastboot mode (blue led, it was discovered by PC, fastboot terminal was functional)
When I press power button, phone vibrates for a second, then the led pattern changes to: 1s red followed by 0.1s green, then long red, then it repeats...
I'm still unable to enter any recovery nor flashmode...
I'd really appreciate any help, have you got any ideas left how can I revive my phone?

Hi, this just happened to me, my phone has been dead for over 4 weeks with just the red led blinking. i tried the test point thing with no success at that point I gave up but last week i decided to get a new genuine battery and it worked it booted up. Your battery is just completely dead thats why it won't boot up!

Yup! That was it (at least I think so, I don't have new battery yet)
The Al part of positive battery terminal was broken: I have no idea why, maybe because of age, oxidation and high currents that were drained from this LiPo cell...
Anyway I've managed to temporarily join two broken Al parts, kernel and recovery booted successfully.
Now I need to wait for a replacement battery.
Phone is alive again, thanks tilakpatel for help!
But the magnetic cable trick might be useful in other hardbrick cases: just connect magnetic charger, connect normal USB cable to PC and hold volUp. Phone should be able to enter fastboot even with completely drained battery...
