T713 screen protector issues - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else. I put a glass screen protector on and after that the screen would intermittently become unresponsive. I removed the protector and the problem went away.

Screen not responding?

My touchscreen isn't responding after applying a screen protector. The display is fine, just no response. Before I peel the protect off, can it be this? Rr is the screen dead? Thanks.
I had the same problem when I applied a screen protector.
Problem was with the screen protector itself which was like bullet proof glass...nothing was getting through!
The screen worked when I applied an old Palm Tungsten protector trimmed to fit my MDA Vario III screen. Needless to say this screen protector was very thin laminate and works just fine.
If your screen worked before you applied the protector then chances are that's where the problem lies.
Thanks problem now gone, it was the screen protector.

screen cover

Did anyone else just cut the tab off the top right corner of the factory screen cover an just leave it on? I am using this case

With that case you can't even tell the protector is there.
Lol guess I wasn't the only one to do this.

Mine is still on as well, but only until the real protector is delivered this week.
I kept it on for a few weeks until my SGP protector came.

Any good fitting temp glass protectors?

Seems I am having trouble finding any gold tempered glass screen protectors. They seem to not cover the scree all the way or then done stay down on the screen. Has anyone found one that fits like they should?
Yes I searched first and no I don't care if this has been addressed before lol

Spigen tempered glass screen protector blocks the incall sensor that turns screen off

So I applied the screen protector and everything was fine until I noticed that while Im on the phone with someone and I cant turn my screen on. The screen protector covered that sensor and I had to throw it away, along with my 12$...
Anyone had a similar problem? Maybe I applied it wrong?

You're not alone. It's been mentioned and confirmed by other users here:

contact the seller you got it from, if you bought from ebay or amazon or used paypal you should be able to get your money back. It is a know fault.
I received the updated Spigen protector today with the proper cutout for the motion sensor. It fits and works perfectly now!
I just contacted Spigen through Amazon. Hopefully I can get mine replaced with the correct cutouts

The included screen protector is made of plastic. I have bought orzly screen guard as I have used it earlier too and will opt for the edge to edge tempered glass screen protector from oneplus

The "included" screen protector is only intended to keep the screen free from scratches during shipping and shouldn't be expected to prevent scratches during daily use. The actual screen is more scratch resistant than what you're referring to as the "included screen protector".
