[FIXED] Facebook is no longer fubar on my N1!

OK so i tried to upgrade. All I got was ... "The installation of this application was unsuccessful"
OK, so I deleted all references to facebook and reflashed CM 5.0.6. No change.
Now I can't load the Facebook.apk via the SDCARD and you might as well forget the Market, I just get the same message ... "The installation of this application was unsuccessful" grrr! Clicking on the notification message brings up an "incompatible" message .. huh?
So .. is my Facebook FUBAR? I can do without it .. but it would be nice to have the FB widget back.
I've got the same problem and nobody replied to me in the Facebook app thread >.<.... Just make do without until froyo comes out I guess
You guys use App2SD ??
Re: Facebook is fubar on my N1!
Facebook app sucks anyway. I just use touch.facebook.com it's a lot better
Yeah, it's a fairly ****e app, no chat, the refresh does not work properly, notifications come when they please...

You may have installed a modded version (key mismatch). try
Code:
adb uninstall com.facebook.katana
that did it, thanks

britoso thanks, you may have missed the bit in my post about 'I deleted ALL references to facebook" from the N1. That incuded the katana reference. Made no difference sadly.
I'll try the touch.facebook.com mentioned above, see how that goes.
OK weird!
I really thought I had deleted ALL facebook content from my phone. HOWEVER! When going to Settings > Aplications > Manage Applications - there in the list was a reference to 'com.facebook.katana'!!
The option allowed me to uninstall this reference. Once more to the market download it YET again .. and surprise, surprise, surprise! Facebook now installed successfully! Well damn!!
It's back! HTH someone!

Parse Error while install netflix

Dispite my best attempts, I cannot get the netflix app to install on my stock rooted nookcolor. It jus says; Parse Error "There is a problem parsing the package."
I have tried:
Downloading every version of the netflix apk I can find....same error
Emailing the apk to myself....same error
Putting the apk in the root directory....same error
I've wiped devlik and cache....same error
I've tried to install through Android Commander.....same error
I'm out of ideas....any thoughts would be great!
I'm having the same problem and can't find anything on this issue! Frustrated.
Are you using the version found in the market? I've never had a parsing error with a market app. The one in the market is the one you need, not the leaked version that's been floating around.
Sent from my NookColor using Tapatalk
The crux of my problem is that I've never been able to get my NC to see the Netflix app in the Market. I've done the build.prop edits using both the samsung and HTC versions and it refuses to show up. My only other option in this case is to sideload the app, which limits me to the versions available in the XDA posts. I just recently got Netflix going with no problem on my Optimus V using the version from XDA that doesn't require the build.prop edit and had no trouble sideloading and installing- the same APK on the Nook fails every time. Boo.

Message force closes

I did a theme for Bad Seed custom Odex ROM, everything works fine with the exception of message.apk it won't open, just force closes when tapping the message icon.
I tried clearing the cache in manage apps, to no avail, anyone have any thoughts?

Seems like it is a corrupted apk. i would get a new one and try again.
What did you change in the mms apk? Did you sign it? No compiling errors?
From My TweakedOut ONE
get log and send it my way. open a terminal and type adb logcat >> desktop/log.txt make mms FC then close the cmd terminal and send me log.txt

Documents Storage Stops when Attempting to Attach File
Disclosure: I'm running the latest Nightly of CM13 on my H811 (T-Mobile) LG G4
I'm posting this as a new General Thread, in case the issue's cause is related to a non-CM problem. Thanks in advance any Solution(s) / Ideas!
Symptom: Whenever I attempt to attach a picture file to a Tweet or Email, the system throws an error with the pop up message:
"Unfortunately, Documents has Stopped."
This is a repeatable, consistent failure. I have attempted to troubleshoot the problem by:
Clearing Dalvik Cache
Clearing General Cache
Reinstalling the Twitter App
During my research I found a thread where someone mentions "Resetting Permissions," but I have not found the steps necessary to do this. I'm looking forward to a solution that doesn't involve me completely wiping my phone (again) and reinstalling/configuring it!
Same problem with a Galaxy S6
I have this exact same problem. For me, it occurs whenever I attempt to attach a file from within the Chrome browser, particularly when using the Facebook mobile site. Clearing app caches and data sometimes fixes it temporarily, but not for long.

I found doing a bare metal reload of the latest versions of TWRP, CM13 & GApps has solved my attachment crash issues.
