TWRP Problem (black screen) - P8lite General

Hello everybody. I need help with my Huawei P8 Lite.
The bootloader I have successfully unlocked and can also access Fastboot on my system. If I flash the TWRP file (both versions and another tested) and will then start the recovery menu appears briefly the Huawei logo and then the screen remains black.
Normal startup and boot into the bootloader goes Recovery menu does not start. I have both tried to boot directly, and only normal restart. Developer options and Debuggin is on and seems to Fastboot to run everything correctly (several times so that the system was brought back on track)
The data of the mobile phone:
Model Number ALE-L21
Build number ALE-L21C432B574
Android verison 6.0.0
Before Marshmellow Update:
Build nummer ALE-L21C432B204
Android version 5.0.2
Can you help me maybe?
THX and sorry for my bad English.

Flash your original recovery using abd if you don't have original recovery.img you can extract it from UPDATE.APP using Huawei update extractor( you can download it from the link that I have given below it is in TWRP section) then install twrp from this thread. It's working I have tested it.

Just press thanks button.

Hello, any news on this issue. I've the same. Flashed twrp with unlocked bootloader and enter into twrp results into black screen.

I have the same issue
I have tried to flash via fastboot and flashify app. Both don't work for me.

Have you tried the latest release? (Uploaded yesterday). It's at the TWRP V3 thread, it might work for the ones that face issues.

Can you boot into bootloader ?
You may change your recovery to the origine one then flash a new ROM

If you can enter fastboot mode and download official ROM pack, then you are all good.

Fastboot method most probably is your only choice now.

A little bit of help needed...
Hi,
I basically did the same mistake as the other guys, unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp, all fine. Then I ***** up by trying to root fellowing a tuto made for the non-Che2-L11 ones.
I have no problem going into TWRP, the bootloader, or the black screen from huawei (witch looks like.. some kind of second recovery ?)
I managed to download the stock software from huawei ( Honor 4X Firmware (Che2-L11, Android5.1.1, EMUI3.1, C636B360, Malaysia)S.zip ) and also managed to download a version of HuaweiUpdateExtractor ( 0.9.9.5 ).
My problem now, is that if I understood correctly, I should extract the image files from the APP from the firmware zip I downloaded from Huawei.
Unfortunatly, there is no HuaweiUpdateExtractor profile for the honor 4x Che2-L11.
There I may need assistance, or guidance.
Does the profile already exists somewhere ?
How can I create my own, is it not too complex ?
Maybe someone already extracted thoses files and could make them available somewhere ?
Or maybe is there any other way to unbrick my phone ?
************************************
EDIT: Nevermind. I managed to extract the files without profiles. I flashed them 3 but nothing really changed.. So.. I'm kinda stuck. no Idea from here.
************************************
************************************
EDIT (of the edit) : Nevermind the previous nevermind ! It actually worked ! Well, kinda.. Seems my new "stock rom" is quite buggy, strangly, but nevertheless, it work Thanks
************************************
Thanks a lot.
Hello

[TWRP][3.0.2][Unofficial] for Huawei P8 [GRA-L09]

TWRP 3.0.2
Huawei P8 GRA-L09
Fully working recovery, no encryption support.
"No touch at boot" bug is solved.
Battery percentage.
Compiled with stock B370 kernel
(encryption support is still a WIP)
Since I hope to get it "Official", I won't post the customized one here: have a look at @nexolight 's CM13 thread for that one.
No need to say you need an unlocked bootloader.
There's a lot of good guides on how to flash a recovery so I won't repeat here

anyone could help here?
It was my fault: didn't had the phone for a couple of months and now wanted to update to the latest version of TWRP, ROM and didn't read the threads completely . First time that I'm so stupid.
Bootloader is unlocked, think I have the old bootloader. Had TWRP 2.8.7.0 installed and working. Flashed a 6.0 ROM and ended with bootloop...OK related to the old TWRP. So flashed within 2.8.7 the TWRP 3.0.2 ...
now it is only showing Huawei boot logo....neither fastboot nor TWRP is working anymore with (Vol+ & Power button). It just simply is showing the Huawei logo for some seconds and then restarting.
Any chance to unbrick it?
I'm not expert but if you can't get even into bootloader I think your phone is done.

Try booting with Vol- pressed while connected to PC
Even with Holding VOl- by connecting the PC the phone simply restarts to the Huawei logo and then restarts...
Is there still that bug where I'd have to wait for the screen to go off?
Or what does no touch at boot mean?
No, there isn't. The "notouchatboot" bug is solved..

Btw I am gonna upload a new build (just removes some unneeded stuff).
Not working for me either. No touch at boot at all but when the screen goes off, I can use it again! Just flashed today.

Custom kernel?
Did you had a bugged twrp installed before flashing?
Did you keep Vol + pressed until splash screen at first recovery boot after flashing?

I just updated to b382 with normal OTA. (I flashed the stock recovery as I previously had the older TWRP installed.)
I have never flashed custom kernels on this device.
The earlier TWRP (I quess 2.8, new_twrp) was working normally
Let me know if you need more info!

Do you have the marshmallow update pacakage(one you downloaded to update the phone to marshmallow) if you have then extract it and place the dload folder inside a memory card and place it in your phone, then while switched off press power+volume up+volume down all at once and wait until your phone vibrates then leave the buttons and let the software do the work. Hope it helps:good:

If you have unlocked bootloader just flash twrp version for your device and download any MM version Fullrom.zip using firmware finder and flash it through twrp.
Before flashing new rom wipe all partitions from twrp.

Software: EMUI 5, Android 7.0
Kernel: 4.1.18-gd97adb9
Build: EVA-L09C432B386
I flashed the newest twrp and when I reboot the device to recovery it hangs on the "device is booting" screen and it freezes.
I tried flashing twrp to recovery2 too but that did not help (I can't even boot back to huawei's eRecovery).
I can't update with OTA because it gets softbricked if I do.
Please help.
Have you unlocked the bootloader?

What does it mean 'newest TWRP' - are you flashing the proper TWRP as ported to Huawei P9 Nougat?
Find the 'newest' in this post:

With the wrong TWRP (not supporting encryption etc), you may brick the phone

I flashed this one. It's weird because I can still access Huawei's recovery. Isn't it supposed to overwrite it?

Do you know the trick that you must, and how, to boot to TWRP immediately after flashing, otherwise you loose TWRP

Thank you but it got solved by the correct twrp. Thought that the latest zip on twrp's official site would be the correct one, but no.

Thanks, it worked. How can it be that the zip on the official twrp site doesn't work?

There are different TWRPs for Huawei for Android 6, 7 and 8
Who knows what they have
there (maybe for M), but search on XDA to find what and how will work (eg, there is also TWRP for O but not supporting encryption/decryption, hence unable to access Data partition and Internal mem)
