Hi, has anyone had any 'halo' problems on their spigen tempered glass screen protector for their note 5? I'm asking because I ordered the Nillkin screen protector for my note 5 but some people said there is a halo around it. I saw this video too that's why I bought the Nillkin glass but after installing it I have halo all around it. If you want something with no halo I think the only option is the Zagg

Yep, the Spigen is halo-city.
Do some research here, you'll find plenty of insights.
Although Zagg glass has a number of happy customers, there's almost as many unhappy ones.
Going with PET film cured me of wanting glass - so far at least.

I tried 3 Nillkins Amazing 9H and they all have Halos, nowhere like the vid on youtube

I have the Nillkin Amazing H+ , (9H hardness. ) Does this have halo as well? What about spigen or ivoler?

All are good......make sure the one u are buying is edges are curved and not pointed....... Also keep one thing in mind..... A tempered glass will heat up your device at all times even when u are doing some small petty thing.... Like chatting

I bought one from Pudini. Given the price (around 500 INR) it just sucks. It is a fingerprint magnet although it says anti fingerprint. I tell just go for a normal tempered glass available in local stores. It does the job. And almost all the tempered glass today comes with 8H-9H hardness.

Yes I got 2 of them black and white but unfortunately I can't take pictures as iam using just one phone but it is just as show in pictures in product description

No, I brought it from my local shop but it should be same. Btw I don't recommend use this full screen tempered glass because many disavantages: doesn't clear like good tempered glass like Gor or Nillkin, have a tiny matrix dot under glass (for adhesion), no oleophobic coating, easy scratches on screen surface (not really 9H) or broken on screen edge (newer version have TPU material on edge and tempered glass on center)

I think @Wilderone ordered one like you mention, was that you? Tempered glass with a softer material at the edges to help with the 2.5d curve.

Yeah, sounds like the same as what I had, I pulled mine off eventually because of the small matrix dots as described & it's quite bad in some certain lights.
I'm naked now but use a flip case anyway so it's pretty safe from drops.

I use a note4 glass now, it fits it's very good picture and clear. It's not perfect fit but better then the so called crap they call glass for Redmi note 4... (Use itupside down) so the speaker is clear.

I ordered this screen protector and confirm that 100% fits.
Black version will be very good for white front variants to hide the bezel around the screen.

been looking for an alternative to whitestone. its my second install and the damn glass is lifting again in the side about mid height.
hope this gorilla brand yeild better and longer lasting results.

How did that turn out?
There are now really good entire self adhesive curved tempered glass protectors, the ones with only borders glue were garbage, I bought one MOSS brand, it is perfect, even ordered 2 more as spares some 8 dlls a piece

I got a Nillkin 3D Curved Tempered Glass from ebay a week ago and so far it seems very good. Its easy to install and goes well with my cover (Mofi from aliexpress).

You are a lucky men, better break 10 thousands protectors than the screen, if you have to replace the screen you loose the water resistance.
Also I wanted to see the case front , aliexpress don't show it in any photo.

Is there any fully transparent tempered glass for Poco F1 ? My requirements are
1. Entire front surface coverage

This was my first time with a tempered glass so here goes.
Glass installation is quick and painless, no bubbles etc. But too and bottom last few milimetres don't stick properly. After a few days it is still unstuck at top and bottom but has stopped bothering me.
Smaller on the sides by couple of millimetre and top /bottom by a mm or so.
Camera and ir works well without the cutout also.
No dust under the glass.
Touch is smooth. No problem is swiping from sides for gestures also. Using original tpu and no problems with case also
All in all def not Nillkin quality but for the price I think is ok.
