Phone Bricked - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So today morning when I woke up, I turned my phone on, but It didn't turn on and was stuck on Logo screen with a Red text at above stating "custom binary blocked by frp lock". I'm using a Galaxy Note 5 (N920C) with Note 7 rom in it. I searched on the internet and tried flashing some firmware files with Odin but all failed with some error on download mode "SW. Rev check fail...". Now When I turn my phone on, it goes to screen with "an error has occurred while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function". I tried firmware initialization with Kies 3 and Smart Switch, but both failed, and same error as earlier on Download Mode. I think its the Bootloader problem i.e being locked and not letting me flash. also on Download mode, FRP lock=On, Which caused the problem on first hand. I cant boot into recovery aswell. Any help or suggestion would be really appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Try flashing 'latest' firmware of your variant/region. And don't switch off 'OEM unlock' under developer options. Always keep it and usb debug enabled after boot successfully.

1) All guides and Helpline for this model are in PIT STOP, link below
2) Flashing an SGS firmware on a Anycall SGS , will brick phone but recoverable by using Repair Kit found at PIT STOP
3) But since you say it is dead may be due to lack battery charge while flashing and rebooting (Try MY Android Solution link below for solution)

[Q] Root Problem

Hello.
I do not know if the title is good. I will explain here what happened.
my Galaxy S was android 2.3.4 jvq. I wanted to intall a newer one, a android 4.4.x
I followed a thread about how to do that.
I tryed to root the phone uing Odin and cf-root, but it failed it. After that when i powered on the phone i get some error with phone to computer and a yellow triangle in the middle.
I founded a program on internet to "unbrick" that, but now i can only enter in download mode using the 3 buttons, and dont start in normal or recovery mode.
I tryed to flah it again uing odin with cf-root but failed every time.
the odin log says this :
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/005> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/005> zImage

Do you know any solution to my problem?
Thx.
maybe this will help

Help! Gear 2 Neo Firmware Recovery

I tried upgrading to the wear android OS, but the process failed half way through. Now my watch boots immediately to a screen with a yellow triangle between the watch and PC with "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I've tried re-flashing Wear_511_LCA43__09_24_2015.tar with Odin v3.09 and get this

Also says "Invalid Signature: BOOT" on the watch face in addition to the yellow triangle exclamation point screen of doom.
Occasionally I get this

I've tried many other versions of OS and they all have the "NAND Write Start! FAIL!" error. Tried the PIT file fix I found in the forums, it fails as well.
Hope someone can help a novice out or at least point me in the right direction.
Just a quick guess, try using Kies since it says so
Hi man, I encountered the same issue previously.
I thought I bricked my watch. Somehow, read that as long as ur phone still has that triangle icon, means it's on download mode.
So I thought theres still hope. What I did was I unjust and reinstalled Samsung drivers on my pc. Closed kies. Download a stock rom and try flashing again. True enough. After some tries, downloading starts and my watch has been flashed back to stock rom. Nl2. Hope this helps.

So just keep trying to load the AP rom over and over and hopefully it will work? Feels like I've been doing that for a ridiculously long time now. Load, fail, reboot, repeat.... ugh.
I'm using AP-R381XXU0BNL2_user.tar.md5 btw, correct rom, yes? Also, did you load drivers from Kies or download the Samsung USB drivers?
Close all Kies process in task manager or even better - uninstall it. You can install it again after...

Everything I've read says not to use Kies, so I uninstalled it a while ago. When I did try using Kies, it would give me the error message "Device not responding. To resolve the issue, reboot the device." and nothing shows up in the emergency firmware recovery menu. Kies3 says that "The connected device is not supported by
Kies 3." and, again, nothing shows up in the emergency firmware recovery menu.
Any other suggestions?
dont use keis, try the stuff i have in my root gear 2 neo thread, its helped several people out of this situation. and use the tarball i have in there too

Just found a way to get TWRP back on my note 5.
I flashed with odin the Chainfire autoroot Auto-Root-noblelte-nobleltextc-smn9208.tar.md5
Your phone will get stuck on boot screen and it will say in left upper corner "seandroid not enforcing".
Push volume down + home + on/off, to get back in download mode.
Flash with odin the TWRP file.
Now you will have working TWRP (i rooted my phone directly)
It worked for me, let me know if it worked for you.
Regards,
Pr4d0
Did you run the CROM Service app to unlock the bootloader? You will not be able to flash anything until you unlock the bootloader. My girlfriend has the same phone and you are in luck that I still have the CROM Service app, you can download load it from here

Data recovery from SM-A600FN/DS with broken screen

Hi there. I have a Galaxy A6 with broken screen. I don't know if touchscreen works, but all I see is a permanently white screen.
All I want is to recover my files from in there, but obviously all I see on PC is an empty device because the phone is not unlocked. I stupidly didn't set a Samsung account in the device, so unlocking it with find my device is not an option. There's no USB debugging or OEM unlocking done either. Here's what I already tried:
1. Rebooting in recovery mode and trying to get into ADB: nope, stock recovery ROM apparently doesn't allow that.
2. Rebooting in download mode and flashing TWRP with Odin to get a recovery with adb and disk mounting enabled: Odin sees the device and start flashing, but then fails. This is the output:
<ID:0/004> Added!!
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1301)..

<ID:0/004> RQT_CLOSE !!

<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
3. Trying to flash stuff with adb and fastboot while in download mode: adb and fastboot don't see the device at all in any mode (tried normal boot, recovery and download). In windows device manager, the device is seen, in download mode, as "Samsung Mobile USB Modem". Yes, I have installed the Samsung drivers.
Does anyone have a clue about what can I do? Thanks for the help!
