I Got my LCD replaced by Samsung Saudi arabia. Original one had few dead pixels since day one and instead of replacing the phone they opened it up and replaced my LCD/OLED even though I told them not to do so.
Now I need waterproof case in order to prevent any damage to my phone.
Already looked at Ghostek atomic 2.0 s7 edge waterproof case.
Is there any other waterproof case available?
if its an official Samsung repair, waterproofing should still continue,

Send it back. I had my display replaced and the phone was very audible everytime it vibrated. Sent it back and it was fixed. The first thing I tested after the executive brought the phone back was the water proofing, it worked fine.

So...
I went swimming with the phone today and pretty much broke it
Filmed with it for about 20 mins going in and out of the water (not going deeper than half a meter).
The quality of the filming and photographing were really good but then the screen started flickering and on the left it showed kind of lines with purple pixels. Went out of the water to dry it off and phone went tripping. Shut it down and now its broken,
There was water in the battery compartment... Anyways, want it to be repared and / or samsung to get me a new one if I can pull that off.
The reason I post this here is because I want to know if there's a way to make the rubber on the inside / the USB port more waterresistand, like putting some kind of spray on it or something?
Let me know your thoughts and maybe we can make this phone more waterproof / enjoyable for everyone?
Thnx in advance!
I had the idea of doing this but I don't take my phone in water much...You can make a MUCH better gasket with some rtv silicone should have zero issue's then
I work for AT&T and there is a new policy that says we have to replace the Active for first-time water damage, even though it is not covered by Samsung's warranty. Just bring it in and be nice. The rep can exchange it for you.

I herd about that...I have a active I bought off ebay would I be able to get mine replaced or no since I don't have at&t service?
Well, I know now (because i searched the interwebz) that it's actually not as waterproof as advertised..
Since I live in The Netherlands AT&T is not my carrier, gonna try to bring it back today and hope for the best.
The reason for this thread is to know if there are any easy solutions on making it more waterproof.
So how is this rtv silicone stuff working? And how easy is it to use

Unfortunately, you have to have bought it from AT&T. The service doesn't matter.

The person I bought it from on ebay bought it with there upgrade? I have box can I do anything?
S4 Active water resistant improvment
the best sollution is to choose an external rubber case http://www.ebay.com/itm/SOLID-CLEAR...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item3f26fc4631
to gasket the usb hole and keep the rubber out of sun because the rubber gets soft on sun and it will last shorter if you expose your S4 to the sun
kinda like the external design of the active, so no protective cases for me.
therefor I was hoping there were any tweaks you can make inside of it
I received the Note 8. I am not being picky here. But, my friends got it otherwise. Hence this question.
No seal on the black box.
The front and back of the phone have some bubbles w air/ dust (small but noticeable)
So, is it just me?

interesting, but the Note 8 box supposed to have a seal. you could check the sides of the box (where it opens) to see if you notice anywhere that has glue residue (it should be to the right of the down facing arrow). if it looks like it was removed then, yes, quite possible someone checked out your phone before you. other than that it could be someone at the factory with dirty gloves handled your device.......OR they shipped you a returned device......
Note 8 direct from samsung do not have seals... I had 3 (2 att and 1 unlocked) and none had seals on the box BUT if there were bubbles and dust under the film someone most likely removed the film and then replaced it.
Did you buy it from someone? I've had that **** on swappa where people say new resale and I find the film removed or bubbles behind it. I don't k ow why people feel the need to lie.
I don't see any seal on my phone box at all, and no glue anywhere. Verizon Note 8.

The Tmobile ones from Samsung and direct from TMo have seals. The ones from other carriers and unlocked do not. If you read the seal, it has a bunch of Tmobile legalese, so it's TMo who puts those in (or they have a contract with Samsung to put a TMo seal for them).

Just anecdotal evidence. Everyone I know that bought a Note came with a seal. And the phones I've bought brand new in the past all came sealed. So I would assume all new phones comes sealed, if I am wrong then ok.
My screen damaged because my headphones broke in my headphone jack and I tried to pull it out..
So I damaged my screen the touch work but I can't see behind that. Only I can see it is white lines. I will upload photos later.
Please tell me if I need to replace screen or its only connector or something.
I don't want to buy a new phone cause I don't have money to spend on this

Most likely you need a new screen. Assuming the screen is damaged, and not the mother board.

If you have a UBreakIFix store nearby, take it to them. Or send it to Samsung for repair. If you do it yourself, you'll lose the water resistance. Plus, these are not easy repairs. You risk making it worse.

If Samsung fixes it, you will NOT lose water resistance. It's no different then when they assembled the phone to begin with.
If you have repaired these Samsung phones before, then of course you know you will need to buy the whole LCD/frame assembly. And they cost $220-250 brand new. Samsung charges $230+tax to do the repair professionally and you keep your water resistance.

Ah, gotcha!! Sorry I assumed US. If it saves you $100, then it may be worth losing water resistance.

Do I need a screen protector for my Galaxy Watch 3? And If I need it which one should I buy?
BTW is it safe to swim for more than an hour in a lake with watch?
Thank you
GW3 is IP68 (Ingress Protection 6 (Solids - dust, dirt) and 8 (Liquids - freshwater)

Be careful with saltwater if you do decide to go swimming. Had my Note 10+ in my pocket in the water at the beach a few weeks ago, and now I can only charge it wirelessly because the charging port keeps saying there is moisture in it. BUT, Ive had the thing in the pool with me for an hour or more and it was fine.
I bought this screen protector https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MZK97MK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just got my watch and was wondering if there was safety film on the bottom? Lol I can't see any and don't want to start scratching away. I know new electronics some times come with it.

The specs "appear" to be ok too. But it's really hard to tell (Just like the one I've purchased) until we actually get them and have them installed on the devices since the product is so new. We are all taking a little bit of a chance with them.
The glass housing the four cameras at the back broke this morning when the phone dropped. Any chance to replace it or do I need a new phone?

Very doubtful. I had a broken camera glass (basically stone pierced through the glass to the camera lens) in redmi note 7 pro. Back then the service guys had to change the board I think. I'm thinking it might be the same fate here. Sorry for you man.

In that an many other videos they only replace the glass without even opening the back:
Maybe beside the glass your camera was also damaged.
