Hello, i just got myself a Nexus 6 and I noticed an issue .that's the volume get lower when listening to music. I did some googling and found out it's a common issue. I want to know whether there's a fix to that or flashing a custom ROM would help. Thank you.

It's a set and forget app.
There are sliders for the several sound channels. And the incall volume can be set.

I just read through that post. Am on android 7.0 . Is the method of unlocking the bootloader different? I want to unlock it, install TWRP and flash the kernel and the throttling zip to try my luck. Thanks

Different than what? Here is a tutorial on unlocking bootloader, installing recovery, etc. Give it a look.

I've been running Nitro rom with the dosage throttle zip along with removing battery optimization for Google play music and YouTube. No sound issues whatsoever. Been sound issue free for months now
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA-Developers mobile app

I'm experiencing 2 problems with the ROM in title:
1. The WiFi get's shut down randomly.
2. Every few days all the ringtone get's switched on there own.
Can someone help me with that?
Did you perform a full wipe before install?
Of course! I did exactly what's written in the post.
Use another kernel and reflash the Rom before.
Sent from my 『Incredible S』⊙Beck'.▲ using XDA

Yes.
No one has an idea?
Do you have the same problems on other roms? If you do, you may have a faulty device
I never got those kind of problem. Do you flash the suggested radio for that Rom?

If you've never had the problem on a similar rom, it shouldn't be the radio

I recently rooted my HTC One M7 for the first time with ViperOne 6.2.1, so I'm still pretty new to rooting terms and processes. One of the main reasons I rooted was to modify the vibration intensity of my phone. It is far too strong at the moment and unable to be changed without root. I think I've found a solution, but it requires the faux kernel. I'm a little confused on the difference between ROMs and kernels, but is it possible to keep ViperOne and still use the faux kernel to modify vibration? Or is there another way I can turn down the vibration intensity a few notches? Any replies are much appreciated!

You should be able to use the faux kernel with ViperOne, i don't know if they are 100% compatible, but you will need to be S-off to flash the kernel.

Are you talking about this one? If so, I don't think it'll work because the mount points are different.
EDIT: Also, it says specifically in the thread that it doesn't support Sprint.. @jbart12

I don't know how I didn't see that, but glad you caught it before I tried. There has to be a way for Sprint users to lower vibration intensity though...

Reading through the thread, apparently faux was testing the Sprint kernel.. and that was the last mention of Sprint in the kernel thread. Will try searching some more.

You might be on to something, but for some reason the app won't let me passed this screen to create a custom vibrate style. I'm continuing to look for the answer but little luck here

hello im not sure if anyone posted this issue but i couldnt find any threads that r about this for sprint... when someone calls my phone they get a anooying static sound immediately when i answer the call but it only lasts for a couple seconds then its normal. no idea what this is about but would love to find out the cause so if it has something to do with my device i can get it replaced if need be.
my device= sprint HTC ONE M8 H/k edition, unlocked, s-offed, rooted, running ViperOneM8 latest version, latest firmware
any suggestions to what is causing this would be great thanks

i checked out his thread but i only found someone mentioning the static noise but no responses his post about it that i found.
also its only on the callers end and only happens for a couple seconds instantly after i answer the call then its gone.
EDIT: so it seems it is a kernel issue.. i dirty flashed viper to get the original kernel back and now the static is no longer there at all. so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Hey guys I've a problem with my C6603.
It happend that my phone thinks that there's always a headphone connected to it. You'll think and what? Well, basically when I call someone I have to use the loudspeaker function or otherwise I just can't here through the phone hearspeaker. When I try to listen to music or whatever I can't.
So I know it's a hardware problem, but can't it be created something like a "mod" to let the phone avoid the jack, just disable it by software?
Thanks.

I have same problem as you on my Xperia ZR C5502 5.1.1.I havw read somewhere It is Sony's software problem not hardware.
Have you found any proper solution without any app?
Yeah same here I couldn't do anything about it just using that program https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix
Be aware if you may forgot the settings and while you record a video the sound will be lost
