Hello, I would like to know how I can to flash a galaxy s3 mini. (GT- I8190)
The phone has virus.
I tried to install the PIT file and the PDA file, and it doesn't work. The phone doesn't change.
help me, please
go to sammobile.com, download latest firmware for your device and flash with odin, no need to flash with pit file. Hard reset from recovery after flash, should solve your issue

hi frnd i own a Xperia Neo V but here i am for my frnd he has did something wrong with his phone and its not booting up i can enter recovery/download mode i just want to knwo how to flash i9000
i have downloaded
Flashprogram Samsung I9000 + Pits
firmware version XAJW5_XEU from samfirmware
i have flashed 5830 and 5801 but i dont find odin to be similar as them
can any1 tell me how to flash i9000 and what pit to use cause i can see 3 pits in it
803
513
512
or a full procedure will be helpful
am just trying to help my frnd to fix his S1
you will need to have the galaxy S drivers installed on the computer they can be downloaded and installed as part of Kies or seperatly from a thread in the I9000 (SGS) section of XDA just search for "Samsung Drivers.exe"
As for flashing Phone put it into download mode and connect USB cable
If the file downloaded is a single file .TAR place into PDA of odin
if 3 file place PDA into PDA, CSC into CSC and PHONE into PHONE and flash.
Most GingerBread ROMs use 512 PIT check on samfirmware as to the suggested PIT file.
NOTE a pit file is not always required but cannot hurt. just ensure that repartition is not checked
what will happen if i re partition it.. will it format everything

re partition will fully wipe the OS partitions, not the SDcard partition but sometimes errors do occur with the SDcard.
The ROM on the phone does retain a copy of the PIT file and can access it during a odin flash.
it is very important to use the correct pit file for the rom or it will not boot
Hi
A friend has flashed the following CF-Root "CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar" by mistake.
Then... stuck on Samsung's logo and "Galaxy SII" appears. He tried to flash via Odin the firmware I8190XXALK6 - Novembrer, 2012 but the problem still remains.
The Download mode is available but not the Recovery mode.
What can he do to solve this issue?
Thanks for your precious help! Don't hesitate to ask me for further information.
Galaxy SIII Mini
Android 4.1.1
GT-I8190
Flash the attached file in pda.
Thanks for your help.
I'm goign to transfer that file to my friend.
I'll keep u informed.
The phone boots without any issues except that the SGS II logo is still here.
A new flash through Odin could solve it?
Thanks again.
try to flash full firmware.
Have you Full Firmware (pda, csc, modem)?
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/181522827/74b9c77/I8190XXALK6_I8190XEFALK1_XEF.zip.html
are the 3 Files?
one file include all.
where add this file?
I have a bad flash and i now it is my internal sd not as should be.
I wanted all files for my phone for Odin (Pit file, Modem, CSC)
.
there is not pit file.
just put the tar file inside zip in pda and flash.
My mistake.
the boot logo not include in firmwares, i made one for u.
it shold work.

Thanks avicohh
I've just transfered your link to my friend.
My wife's Galaxy Ace is running CM7, but I'd like to return it to stock Samsung firmware.
I did a factory reset, entered download mode, opened Odin and had Odin detect the USB connection. However, I've tried flashing the Australian, Hungarian and French firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares, and they all fail. I unzipped the downloads so that they're a .tar.md5 file, and added them to the PDA field in Odin. I'm sure this is how I did it previously, but after a few minutes each time, it reports "fail".
Any suggestions?

Hi Pumpino,
here you go (the hubix's guide):
[GUIDE] How to upgrade, root & flash Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 [DOWNLOAD LINKS | CWM5]
There you have all you need , (I hope)
All my best.
Edited:Extracted from C. Flashing the newest firmware:
Open ODIN 4.38 on your PC and change OPS file name to
Cooper_v1.0.ops
If archive contains only <filename>.tar.md5 select it as PDA and OPS as OPS, leave other fields EMPTY
Hey everyone I'm in need of assistance of flashing the above phone(not mine). I can't turn the phone on due to an update that I can assume corrupted the ROM or something of the sort. I can get into DL mode but this is what I get when turning the phone on normally- imgur.com/Jrk8nKT
I have found a stock telstra ROM for the phone but as soon as I try to flash it with Odin it says "there is no pit partition" but I am lost as to where to find a pit file.
If anyone could help or has any ideas I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks!

I've already saw many people saying to dont do nothing with pit and repartition unless its your last resource. I dont have much knowledge about it, so i would recomme d you flash a 4.1.2 rom via odin and then enter recovery mode (vol up + home button + power button) and wipe data, maybe you succed.
One question, u said you can enter in download mode, but can you actually flash something via odin? I reccomend you try to flash the galaxy project with android 4.1.2 and see what odin says. I had a problem once and odin didnt flash anything unless this rom i mentioned, but via cwm. After that i reinstalled the pc drivers and installed triangle away from chainfire, reset the counter with that and tried flash a stock rom via odin again and this time it worked
Hello,
i got my hands on an old GT-I9000. The privious owner tried to root it, because when i turn it on it directly boots, without doing anything into CWM(3.0.0.5)
I guess that this CWM version muss be very buggy because it cant access any kind of partion on the device.
Even mounting an SD card is impossible!
What can i do in this case ?
ADB ? an push a new CWM version on it, if yes which version ?
Best regards
Razzor
No, it's not bricked. You have to repartition with a proper pit file from odin. I would flash the original firmware, all the three tar files (pda, phone, csc)+the pit. With the repartition option set to enabled.

I followed it here @ http://www.faq4mobiles.de/samsung-forum/110832-i9000xxjvt-downloadbereich-verfuegbar.html
As you mentioned pda, phone, csc+the pit with odin 3.10 worked really smooth.
Rooting with http://www.faq4mobiles.de/downloads.php?do=file&id=9527 this and odin only PDA option clicked on, nothing else!
After that, cleared all the cash, factory resten in CWM and freesh install of CM11
